1. This book is extremely informative and tells you everything.If you buy the game buy the book.The Book gives you all the hidden characters and signagture as well as regular moves.

1. This book is great! It has a great move list for each character. It has pictures next to the moves to guide you through the move. It has many secrets about the game telling good strategies for the adventure mode and getting the hidden characters. If you have this game I recommend getting this guide.



2. The bios of the characters are straight out of the CD's rule book, and do nothing to explain the differing styles of the fighters. While it's nice to have pictures of every move, there's no sense of the strengths and weaknesses of them. In short, the book is eye-candy.

   Apparently, amazon won't let me use a URL in a review, so here's a hint: use a search engine to look for "Ehrgeiz" and "Mike Allen". You should be able to find the 100-page "Ehrgeiz Master's Guide: Advanced Strategy and Techniques Version". *This* is the book Brady should have printed -- smart, opinionated, fun-to-read and contagious in its enthusiasm for the game. While it doesn't have pictures of every move, it does say which ones to use when, and why.

1. The JFG stragety guide is almost needed for this game. It has the positions of the Tribals and totems plus many other important stragety tips.



2. I'm going to dissent somewhat with regard to what other people have said about this guide. I don't quite understand how it's gotten such glowing reviews.

   This guide was certainly useful - and you definitely need one for this game - but I was disappointed in it for a several reasons. First of all, the maps aren't as clearly labeled as they could be, so it's sometimes hard to figure out from the accompanying text which room is which. There are no individual room maps, which would have been really helpful for some of the more complex, large areas. The maps could also have shown where tribals and other important items were located, but they didn't - and it was sometimes hard to glean this information from the text alone. The screenshots are printed so small that they're pretty much useless. And finally, it was lacking in detail on some things like how to beat certain bosses - I was able to find more detailed info in some of the online strategy guides for free!

   This isn't to say the guide isn't useful. It's just not AS useful or as easy to follow as many other player guides I've seen.

   I don't know how this guide compares with the other player guide available for Jet Force Gemini, but I do wish I'd tried the other one first.

Well, I have to say that this is a pretty good strategy guide, but what can you expect: this was written by BRADYGAMES, and that company NEVER goes near the amount of goodness that Prima gives you. Nevertheless, this is good because you absolutely need a strategy guide for this game. The bosses, however, are hard to beat because this book doesn't give much in the way of bosses. The maps are pretty hard to go through, too, because they're confusing.

   When you buy this, make sure that you are a good video game player: Jet Force Gemini is a HARD game.

1. I was sorely dissapointed in this strategy guide for several reasons. Based on the highlights posted on the back of the guide it was quite misleading and also wasn't very helpful at all. It barely touches up on anything for each of the characters that couldn't already be figured out just by reading the manual, going to the official website or just by playing the game. It promises "In-depth character and enemy officer statistics" but doesn't even deal with the actual stats for anyone, much less what kind of stats each character can achieve through the course of the game. It doesn't even give any strategy on how to develop the characters in the guide which is probably the most important information that should have been included. They also barely touch on the skills and items in the game. Instead, the majority of this guide is filled with what is basically a "walkthrough" for one way of getting through the game without really giving any examples of how the overall branching of the game works or even why their way is the most advantageous. Despite what it says it isn't very easy or comprehensive to find the information that one is looking for, provided it is even in the guide. Overall it was probably the most useless strategy guide that I have ever owned. (Another one that comes close is the Final Fantasy 9 strategy guide with all of its tie-ins with the website which don't even work anymore.) If anything try to read someone else's copy first to see if it has any information worth paying for...otherwise buy it at your own risk.

1. This book is pretty helpful if you want to get through the game quicker. Detailed maps show you where important items are in case you miss something listening to hours of pesky dialogue. It also gives plenty of tips in case you're new to the series.
