1. I bought this book and thought it would tell me quite a bit and in fact it does but..............just goto IGN and become a member, they provide a guide book which is just as good for FREE although it does not have the Alisa story line, there are only subtle differences anyway..............Don't waste your cash when you don't have to.



2. This is a well-written guide with a lot of documentation. You start off with a summary on game basics, which then progresses to a description of the different parts on your Wanzer (mech), backpacks, computers, items, and weapons. Next is a great table on all of the available weapons (broken down into categories like Ranged-Rifles, Melee-Batons, etc), computers, and backpacks showing each one's weight, action point (AP) cost, damage, range, accuracy %, capacity (computers and backpacks), special attributes (computers), and energy output (backpacks). Another table shows all of the Battle Skills attainable in the game, a description of what each one does, and which body part from which Wanzer you get it from.

   Then you are given the stats for each body part for each Wanzer (those that the player can keep anyway). The stats include HP, movement rates, accuracy upgrade percentages, boost upgrade stats, and evade upgrade stats. Finally, each body part's attainable Battle Skill is displayed again with how many computer slots they take up, as is the condition for attaining them.

   Next come full walkthroughs of both the Alisa and Emma mission trees. You are given strategy recommendations for each mission, told where you start and the enemy starting positions, which enemies you will face with their full stats, and are given a recommendation on what Def-C to protect against: Fire, Penetration, or Impact weapons. Also, you are given notes on when to check your email or the Network and who to speak to in what order so you don't miss anything.

   The last part of the guide lists every "Website", any passwords, when they are available in the game, and in what mission their content changes so you don't have to check after every mission.

   Finally, you are shown how to get the Hoshun Mk112 Wanzer with its 250-damage beam rifle (for free off the Network!). This is the most powerful Wanzer you can get and the most powerful weapon in the whole game.

   All in all, this guide covers almost everything the game throws at you. The only thing it doesn't tell you is what you get if you have all platinum rankings at the end of the game (which is pretty hard to achieve).

4. If you have played the game (FM3), then this is a no-brainer...you have GOT to get this guide. It is beautifully illustrated and painstakingly thorough in all the nuances of this fine game. You get stats of parts, mechs, locations of enemies, types of enemies, as well as the storyline segues.
   
   The guide also has the points in both storylines where "secrets" can be found....and this alone is worth the price of the book!
   You'll want to play the game all over again JUST to find the stuff you missed all those other times!
   It doesn't tell you how to "win" this game outright...just how to be a lot better at it, and that's fine with me.
   
   This is an invaluable resource whenever the mood strikes you and you have a need to jump in the old "Wanzer" and wreak some havoc (and save the world while you're at it)!
   
   This is a must-have item!



5. As usual, nothing about this game is hard enough to warrant a strategy guide, but you're going to want this one if you want to get your hands on the best wanzer in the game, the Hoshun. There are also a lot of other secrets that you might miss if you don't at least have this guide handy.

This book was a very good resorce and it really helped me pass the game the extras in this book were the best it was fun to read this book but there was one thing I found that was not the greatest it didn't have good detailed maps like some of the clifs and rock were just not there but all in all this was extremly good book I strongly recomend it.

3. The book is a solid buy, with in-depth charts for every unit. The mission guide for each mission states the breifing, the objectives, and a detailed walkthrough every step of the way. They don't summarize what you should do and leave you hanging. Having beaten both sides for the game, this book was an invaluable resource for me. It also includes short descriptions of the multiplayer maps and tells you short stratigies for them. With another section with general multiplayer stratigies, with this book you're well covered! In the back, there are interviews with the developers and their comments. It also has a troubleshooting guide, with a table of the units and statistics you never would never have known about! With this book you can blow the computer away on single player, or match wits with the best on multiplayer. A solid book, it is a must buy for beginners and experts alike!



4. This is the best book you can get for command and conquer. The maps are the best part of the book. It dosen't go indepet on bace bilding thow.

1. This book helped me so much. I was stuck on a level, so I refered to this book. It gave me some great tips and strategies to help me beat the game! I wold reccomend this book to anyone who is having trouble. I am sure it can help you. It had some great insight to the complexities of the game This is one of the best strategy guides I have ever read!



2. If you want some basic strategies, information and advice, this is a useful reference. But if you're looking for nitty, gritty, details and technical information on city building and the interation of all the elements of the game, the internet is still the only choice.

1. This is a really good Strategy Guide, it gives you maps and tons of info that helps you on your journeys across Azeroth. If you have played in the Beta or Open Beta though, I wouldn't recommend getting it, because you have probably already seen most of the game anyway :).



2. First, you need to know that the people at BradyGames that wrote this guide are really into RPG-style games. They all had characters in the WoW beta, so it's a labor of love Second, it's a really well done guide - the most comprehensive one I've ever seen, and I've seen quite a few. This guide will definitely enhance your WoW experience. I've used it many time already and shared it with friends. Great maps, detailed descriptions of each area, just a ton of information. The Collector's Edition came with a nice WoW 3-ring binder. If you don't need or want that, get the standard edition.



3. According to the emails I'm getting from Amazon, they expect shipment of this binderized version of the Strategy Guide by Mar. 22. I ordered this around end of January. Brady Games must be having some problems with getting it squared away, especially with all the recent WoW patches that Blizzard has released (currently at version 1.2.3). The funny thing is that the whole reason for this Limited Edition Binder Version is that you can download updated pages in a PDF format directly from www.bradygames.com. I've seen some of the PDF updates, and while nice, it also suffers the same problem that the regular strategy guide has... the text is extremely small. Maybe they are reworking the whole binder thing to accommadate larger text. We'll see. I'll update this review once I get my guide.



4. I've been waiting since February to get this Strategy Guide but nothing. I don't blame Amazon because they're just the distributers, but I don't know anything about the game and I have a hard time playing it. I hope they get a shipment soon, I need this strategy guide.



5. I ordered this online guide on January 18. It's now March 13 and I have received my second delay email from Amazon saying they estimate the delivery date to now be around April 6 or 7. I also do not blame Amazon, as they are just the distributor. I have sent an email to Brady games asking if it will be printed again, but I never received a response. I've decided to just buy the regular guide.

1. I buy Bradygames strategy guides almost every time I buy a game. They are really great for getting the most out of your game, not to cheat with.

1. While there was some good information in this book, I was hoping for more behind-the-scenes info. The advertised 'stats of every ship' is nothing more than screen shots of the vessels and buildings that you can get out of the in-game help.

   That being said, it does have some good techniques for multi-ship cruising and tips for the campaign.




2. Like the original Tropico game, this game is a fantastic time-waster when you just need to kick back and have a good time. Tropico 2 is a simulation game where you are a pirate captain ruling over your own little island in the Carribean. Each level of the game brings extra challenges, allowing you to learn the game as you go along. The storyline is quite silly and perfectly piratey. If you're not interested in running the campaigned storyline, there's a "sandbox" mode, where you can just grab an island and see where it leads.
   
   If you've played the original Tropico game, you'll be able to jump right in-- the graphics and gameplay are the same.
