5 comments about Paper Mario Official Strategy Guide (Bradygames Strategy Guides).
- This guide to Paper Mario doesnt contain everything that you need to complete the game, but its not far short. This guide tells you instantly if there are any items to be collected in every are, and it gives you details about all of the characters. This is the best guide about at the moment so if you are stuck and need a little bit of guidance then give this guide a look over. (its not cheating, its a little guidance)
- This strategey guide really helps if ever you get suck on a puzzle or anywhere just take a look inside this nifty strategey guide.

- I got this guide used so I only paid $2 for it, yet I still feel ripped off. The main reason I wanted a strategy guide for Paper Mario were the lists and side-quest information, but that is exactly where it falls flat on its face. There is no list of Koopa Koot's favors (which the guide errantly says there is on page 47), the list of recipes is missing 15 of them, the Chuck Quizmo questions list gives the wrong answer at least once (#9: 5 should be 6), there are no in-depth strategies for things like leveling up(as it says there is on page 39), the badge list is missing 5 badges and lists one of them twice (First Attack), and the great in-depth strategy on defeating the master tells you nothing more than his basic stats. That's like telling a boxer how much Mike Tyson weighs and how long his reach is and then throwing him into the ring. The one thing that this guide does do well is the basic walkthrough and puzzle solutions, unfortunately, the puzzles in Paper Mario usually involve stepping on a single switch, so the extraneous attention in that department was unnecessary. Also, keep in mind that the errors I listed above were discovered on a casual read of the guide. Under further scrutiny, I'm certain that many more holes and mistakes would be found. It's a shame that many of these problems could have been solved by a $10 an hour proofreader. However, other problems with this guide would not be so easy to fix, such as its obvious incompleteness. Reading this guide makes me long for the official Nintendo Power publication. I would not want to suffer through one of Brady Games guides again, and hopefully readers of this review will be spared ahead of time.
- The walkthrough in this guide is good and will allow you to get through the game; however, unlike what it claims, this guide does NOT cover all of the side material. The Koopa Koot quests are not covered, and the list of Tayce T.'s recipes is incomplete. There is also no list of badge locations. Overall, the Nintendo Power guide is a far better guide; the only thing this one does better is the list of Chuck Quizmo's quiz questions; it provides the answers, while the NP guide does not. Overall, just go with the NP guide.

3 comments about F-15: Prima's Official Strategy Guide to.
- If you're new to flight sims and trying to tackle Janes' F-15, then you'll no doubt find this guide to be of great help. More experienced sim-pilots will enjoy the detailed graphs and weapons overviews, but much of the rest of the guide will be of little value for them. Much of the info in the guide is already available in the Expert Manual that came with the simulator. There is good information here for any player of Janes' F-15, but the focus is definately on the less experienced sim pilot.
- This book provides a wealth of excellent information on the Jane's F-15 combat sim. I progressed from a person who had not won a single dogfight to winning almost every single dogfight and destroying every single target I was sent out to destroy over the course of this book.
- I'm very happy with this transaction. The book is in good condition and the shipping to France was very fast. Thank you.

5 comments about Dragon Warrior I & II (Prima's Official Strategy Guide).
- I was disappointed in this guide, due to the lack of detailed strategy. Also, it seemed to gloss over a few of the important areas and treat them like they didn't even exist. Not a good idea.
It seemed as though the authors quickly wrote it, without verifying strategy and concepts that they described. I expected much more specific and accurate strategy from an official strategy guide. It sure wasn't worth the money in my opinion. All in all, it was a very unsatisfying book.

- This was an excellent strategy guide (unlike some, it goes in order, rather than say things like, 'when you get <-NAME->, go back and...", it says where to go back when you get it. The one thing I didn't like was that it didn't have the kinds of maps I wanted. Otherwise, it was excellent. Worth every penny.
- This is not what I would expect from a company like prima. The guides from prima that I have used were supperior to that of Nintendo and Brady. Unless you're a serious gamer, that means absoluetly nothing to you. The guide itself is of very high quality and the list of monsters is excellent. However, there are a few things wrong with it. It fails to actually tell you how many HP Sidoh has. It does not give a very good strategy to beat him. It doesn't even give you a picture of what he looks like. Also, in the Rhone cave, a crucial turning point in the game, it sais there is a pit where there isn't. It took me hours of gameplay to discover that the book was simply wrong. No matter. I like the "down to earth" format, although I wish the would be a bit more specific. Instead of saying "Go to the north eastern staircase" they could have said, "Go to stair case 3" to take advantage of the strategy and map format. To sum it up, its fairly good, with only a few errors, (which can easily be solved by looking on the internet), and is worth every penny.
- I received it within a week and a half and for a used issue, it was in mint condition. Thanks

5 comments about Tenchu Official Strategy Guide (Official Strategy Guides).
- This strategy guide is not only vital to getting a Grand Master rating for each and every mission, but is beautifully laid out. I enjoyed the character art and step-by-step pictures in the walkthrough.
- Excellen
- yea , i purchased the book , but , half the codes i already knew were in there and i knew the layouts , all i really needed was the strategy to defeating goo without cheats , it listed no guide what-so-ever in the guide .. so im sorry i rate this a 1 , i knew more than the book did , except for a goo strategy
- The book offers good step-by-step instructions for all the levels. The book doesn't delve to deeply into instructions on how to kill the bosses, but if you can't beat the bosses without the book than just set down your playstation controller and just walk away. Never pick the controller back up, just throw it away. The codes are all there but with the book you shouldn't have to use them.
- This BradyGames strategy guide does an excellent job of walking you through all 3 variations of each of the 10 missions that comprise Tenchu/Stealth Assassins. The maps are clear, the screen shots are plentiful, and the explanations are concise. At the end of each mission is strategy to defeat the boss(es) for that level (except for missions 2 & 8 - no boss(es)!!!). The last page of the guide contains secret codes and a list of secret items that a Grand Master (a player scoring 400+) will earn after each mission. Everything a good strategy guide should be. Are you listening Prima? Night has fallen.

3 comments about WWF SmackDown! "Just Bring It": Prima's Official Strategy Guide.
- This book is full of useful info.
- ...the only good thing about it is that it has Edge in it...
- I am a big fan of Prima Guides. This was my first disappointment. This guide does not go into the game as deeply as their other guides. If features several tips, but is more of a deluxe instruction manual.
There is a list off all the unlockable item cards, but the guide doesn't explore that list. For instance, the game features 62 pre-made move sets. Prima should have listed thes movesets. In the game, they are offically called "UWKK", "UWBT", "UWER", etc. These letters mean Unknown Wrestler K-Kwik, Unknown Wrestler Booker T, Unknown Wrestler Essa Rios, etc. A person could make famous wrestlers faster if one had such a list. Plus, two of the move sets are BUGGED! I learned this the hard way. If you automaticly give a wrestler Goldberg's or Grandmaster Sexay's moves, the game will freeze once you save. These bugs can be counter-acted if one knows about them beforehand. I didn't. Now, I must start unlocking stuff all over again. (A week's worth of effort lost forever.) There are a few other bugs in Smackdown: Just Bring It. Many aren't harmful, but Prima should have listed them. Perhaps this guide isn't very deep because it features a guide for the GBA game, "Road to Wrestlemania." Why on Earth is this guide with this book? These games have absolutely nothing to do with each other. Maybe Prima thought a RtW guide was too brief to publish alone. I can understand that from a business perspective. But if that is the reason why the JBI guide suffers, Prima made the wrong choice. I expect better from Prima.

5 comments about E-Learning Games: Interactive Strategies for Digital Delivery (Neteffect Series).
- I have been creating interactive media including e-learning for over 12 years, been a Professor of interactive media and e-learning design for over 8 years, and am currently seeking a PhD in E-Learning. This book is not worth the money. The information in it is only representational of the typical online instruction with message board usage. There are no interactive gaming examples or information for creating e-learning games. The title is extremely misleading.
The same information at a cheaper price with an easier read and better examples can be found in "Engaging the Online Learner: Activities and Resources for Creative Instruction" by Conrad and Donaldson.
- This is an excellent book and very helpful if you are designing online learning without lots of bells and whistles. I liked that it was based on theory and had lots of creative ideas for making e learning both fun and educational. It's not a gamer book, so maybe the title is a bit misleading, but if you are looking to bring some of the interactivity you might experience in the classroom to the web, this is a useful resource.
- I am a new online teacher and found this book to be a good resource. I like the template and the way it is divided into openners, closers, review exercises, and even peer learning. I have used several of the ideas in the book and they have worked well. I just wish there were more examples, but the content is well researched.
- There are many interesting ideas within this book that will help those teaching online courses that include forums. It's not another technology book, but looks at ways to get people communicating online. I like the design template and found it helpful.
- I couldn't even read it! This book came to me off of the photocopy machine.. with half the pages missing and the rest were very poor quality.
Very disappointing for a $50 book. It will be returned.

1 comments about Harpoon II: The Official Strategy Guide (Secrets of the Games).
- It is very good book for those who like all Harpoon' releases and who enjoys knowledge of naval technologies. Even if information may be a little bit obvious for the pro, it will still extend one's limits of understanding of the modern naval warfare. It contains a few of "solutions" for scenarios but is not a walkthrough in no way. It is exactly the guide to command a sea battle. Even real one.
