5 comments about Casino Operations Management.
- This book is a must read for everyone entering the casino business. It's a clear reference, and it shows derails some myths about gaming operations.
- Good overview of casino operations. It covers Indian gaming as well as Nevada and mentions where there are difference. I am the controller and I wish it had more accounting /finance.
- "Casino Operations Management" is the best book on the market now focusing on operational issues that confront casino managers. It is arguably "too much" for an undergraduate course, but the book is highly recommended for casino managers who want to strengthen their understanding of what makes a casino really tick. Those simply interested in in-depth knowledge of the industry's operational issues will also find the book helpful.
- An invaluable primer on casino management. This book should be on the shelf of every executive in the gaming industry.
- Simple to read, even for me that I dont understand some english words. Great explanation about the premium player segment. Thanks to the authors, wich I reckon they put maximum effort to make it.

2 comments about The 'How To' Book for Solving Difficult Sudoku Puzzles: An illustrated methodology for quickly solving difficult and complex Sudoku puzzles.
- This book is great for picking up techniques to solve the hardest puzzles you'll find in newspapers/magazines as quickly as possible. Speed is the goal here, and Charles gives excellent tips on how to prioritize your search efforts. Bravo!
- What a fantastic book! As a novice Sudoku player this easy to understand and well illustrated book made for a wonderful introduction to a world that otherwise might have frustrated me for some time. The author clearly has a keen understanding of the puzzles and has provided guidance that will invite everyone to jump right in and feel successful. Highly recommended!

- hep böle orospu evlatlari böle kitaplar yazar zaten amina kodumun çocuklari... Top Tolga kaptanolglu ibne kafali. Ibne murat tugay... Ve buradan bu arkadaslar gibi olan tüm travestilere sesleniyorum! hepiniz ibne evladisiniz
- What a delightful way to generate ideas for spicing up a cozy/comfy relationship or showing that special new person how thoughtful and creative you are!
Or...wrap it up as a gift to gently say to someone what you really might like and keep the passion alive.
- We've used the "52 Things to Do in the Car" on trips with our 3 and 5 year olds, and it has helped pass the time and keep them from getting too bored (or watching DVDs the whole time). We also use some of them on the plane. The "games" are good for a range of ages--some are too advanced for my kids yet, but others they can do with help. It's nice and small to bring along. You only need paper and pencil or crayons for most activities (imagining things, spotting things, letter and number games, pretending). Wish I had these on all those long car trips we took as kids!

3 comments about X-Men(tm) Legends II: Rise of Apocalypse Official Strategy Guide (Official Strategy Guides (Bradygames)).
- As usual, I bought this book after I completed X-Men Legends II, and actually used it to play through the game another time. To a certain extent, I'd say that it's a pretty handy guide for anyone who needs a step-by-step walkthrough of the game, even though it does have its fair share of errors and omissions.
The maps in this book, like those in the first book, are particularly useful. Numbers are allocated on the maps, and a table is always found beside a map to identify what you can find at these locations, be it a disc, a sketch book, a comic, a homing beacon or even a boss fight. This essentially makes the text redundant, as a player can simply look at the map, check the incidents from the table, and proceed without having to read a whole lot of text to proceed.
The characters building section of the book is also adequately written to provide the reader a general idea of how to level up your favorite characters. Players who're interested in maximising the potential of these characters should find the tips here pretty useful.
The book also has a mandatory "trivia game" section that has with all the answers for the Q&A mini-game found in every act of the game. There're a couple of errors here though, so you may be frustrated by the unintentional sabotage that causes you not to get 100% correct on the questions.
All in all, this is an above average guide that is nicely structured, well presented and informative. Recommended if you really need the assistance.
- We have been using this book while playing the game and have found that it is very frustrating. Things are mislabled, in the wrong place, and there is not enough information on some of the characters. We found better information looking on the internet. Also it does not tell you that you can only get some of the extra characters, like Cable and others, in the PSP version of the game. I would not recommend this book to people buying the game.
- It is a great game for one person to play alone or several.

5 comments about X-Men(tm) Legends Official Strategy Guide.
- I had already finished X-Men Legends before I got this guide; after all, it's a pretty short game. But I can definitely say it's more fun with the guide in hand.
By and large this guide is free of the bad writing and false information that had plagued so many BradyGames guides I've used before. There's a large number of charts, lists, analytical databases and other devices which make the unlockables in the game much easier to find. And while the maps aren't exactly easy to read, the layout of the levels in X-Men Legends is so cluttered that I think the authors and layout artists did a good job of translating the maps into useful, legible form. The combat strategies they suggest almost always work, and they summarize each level succinctly so that you know what you're about to get into.
Why only four stars? The layout of the book can sometimes be awkward -- too much eye candy sacrificing legibility and flow. For example, it's often not clear on a page whether you're supposed to read the upper-right map first or the lower-left one. The written passages are often up to half a page behind the maps and sidebars, making for confusing navigation. And they did have omissions on the maps, leaving out one or two items, but not enough to spoil everything.
All in all, a very good guide with minor flaws.
- It has been some years since I played a role-playing game (RPG). Having recently bought a PS2, I simply have to take on the X-Men: Legends. Afterall, I'm a Marvel fanboy, and what better way to rekindle my obsession with RPGs with Xavier's team of anti-heroes?
By the time I got this guide, I was already in the H.A.A.R.P. mission. To be honest, I was stuck. I was facing Pyro, who seemed (notice the past tense) unbeatable, especially when I've no more health packs, and apart from Wolverine who self heals, the rest of my team are in really bad shape. I read through the guide for a lifeline, and I found it. It taught me how to go to the danger room to do some training, and earned myself some health packs. I recuperated, went back to fight Pyro, and defeated him.
I went on to beat the game, slowly (I've read the guide and play at the same time, you know), and I was extremely delighted! I can only say I won't have go so far without the book.
Just for that, 5-stars.
- I first must say that the game XMen Legends is a piece of camel crap, but man, does the strategy guide rule!!! It told me, like, strategies and stuff about the game, even though the game bites cow butt!! I apologize to all meat eaters!!! But, alas, I am a vegetarian, so bite me!!!Anyway, the point is that this strategy guide reeks of awesomeness!!! DO NOT buy the game!!!These are 5 reasons not to buy the game: #1, It sucks!!!; #2, all you do is fight and other crap like that!!; #3, It doesn't work very well as a frisbee!!!; #4, Dog lovers beware!!! This game depicts images of dogs getting their tails stepped on and/or bitten off!! I found this very offensive!! #5, Why waste your money on this piece of crap when you could own the best book in the history of the world!!! [ Well, besides Hamlet, of course!!! ]
- HI this x-men guide is good i wonder if anybody is selling one in good shape used no mess ups on the pages thanks so much have a nice day all sincerley michael serrano.
- Whoever the used (second party)sellers are for this guide, they should be ashamed for jacking up the price. There are plenty of free guides and walkthroughs for this game. Just use a search engine; they're easy to find. Don't waste your hard-earned money on something that you can get for free.

2 comments about Unreal Tournament 3 Signature Series Guide.
- This is a beautiful guide that is pretty well-laid out. However, it's got more extraneous info than anyone could really use given the nature of the game, which is "in your face" action. If you want to know all of the damage points your weapons can inflict or how much damage your armor can withstand, this is the guide for you. Information about the single player campaign is scant. I liked the descriptions of each weapon, but you can probably get enough info from the instruction guide that comes with the game. It's not really what I was expecting, which I guess was more walk-through help. However, since the single player campaign is almost non-existent in the game, it stands to reason that this guide wouldn't have much info on it. Again, the pictures are great and it has voluminous amounts of info about damage points. It's just that I probably will never use it since the game is all about online multiplayer, and you really don't need a guide for simple balls to wall action.
- Unreal Tournament guide will always be helpful in playing the game whenever I can get it. Until then it helps to get know the weapons and vehicles.

4 comments about Images 5 Clrg Bk.
- I am hugely disappointed in this item, and the cover photo is extremely misleading, since the inside pages are NOT white as the cover pic shows! They are beige-yellow kraft paper type color and the poorest quality paper of any coloring book--for adults, or kids--that I have ever seen. Why wasn't this very important fact mentioned in the description? The price of this book is outrageous compared to the excellent quality paper and designs of the under four dollar set, such as Dazzling Designs, or even Kaleidoscope Designs coloring books. I would not have paid even two dollars for this book.
The pages don't copy well--they come out dirty looking because of the yellowish paper. The pages are very thin, NOT suitable for markers, paint or any wet media (the type I use most). At least they are printed one to a page, and the designs would be great, IF the paper quality were even adequate or minimal, or could be copied in white at least, to color out of the book. Do not pay six-plus bucks for this, unless you have money to burn and are buying this for a genius 2 year old with crayons. Maybe a two dollar used copy would be a good value for children to use? Unfortunately, the designs are the type of complex, 3-D patterns an adult would enjoy most, so I don't understand why they used the worst paper they could find, and then priced it out of range with its actual value. I had all of these versions in my wish list and would have bought every one of them if this one had at least white (or ability to clean copy) pages. The real killer is that it will cost me more to return it and I am out not only the cover price, but postal costs both ways as well. Do all of the "Roger Burrows Images" (original numbered one through 4) coloring books have such poor quality, thin, non-white scap type paper as this one? If not, let me know and maybe I'll try a different one. The designs in this one are particularly appealing compared to the previous versions by Roger Barrows. The Ultimate Coloring Experience? I think not, unless he means a new ultimate WORST coloring experience. Item cover photo misrepresents this Images 5 book almost to the point of bait and switch technique--show perfectly beautiful, complex designs on brilliant white paper, then inside where a potential online buyer can't truly see, the cheapest medium possible for coloring on.
- These designs are lots of fun to color, sort of relaxing and stimulating all at the same time. Shapes, pictures, and patterns appear, and disappear, in front of your eyes. I loved coloring in the designs and creating something that I knew was all of my own. I really recommend Images Book 5 for all those who want to explore their own imaginations.
- I am an adult that loves to color and these Roger Burrows books are great. I find they work best with colored pencils in that the designs are very intricate, but fine tip markers work fine as well if you don't mind bleed through (the paper is fairly thin). Very good, cheap, relaxing therapy! Can't miss--these would be fine for older children as well that are very attentive to detail.
- If you are going to purchase any of the Images coloring book series for your child...I suggest you wait till they are atleast 10 or older. Just so they can fully appreciate the intricate details of these designs. Personaly I color and frame these designs as snowflake patters for chrismas presents.

4 comments about Care and Repair of Shop Machines: A Complete Guide to Setup, Troubleshooting, and Maintenance.
- I've been having some problems getting my jointer tables aligned properly, and happened upon this book by accident. What luck! This book is full of great info on tune-ups and alignment. John White goes in depth into the set up and alignment of primary power tools (jointer, planer, table saw, bandsaw, router table, drill press and miter saw). His writing is clear, easy to understand and follow, with plenty of very descriptive pictures. The book is very complete on each of the tools covered. I truly appreciated that he used many shop-built jigs and common tools to get things done.
- This is an outstanding book. It is well written, well organized, has excellent graphics and pictures, and serves a much needed role in most woodshops. White would have been a great engineer. His jigs and measurement techniques are clever, well documented, and easy to make and use. I found myself smiling several times at the ingenuity of his low-cost (and effective!) solutions to high-cost measurement tools. I have a middle-of-the-road chinese knock off table saw that wasn't cutting well (burns and lots of resistance). I made the jigs and went through the tune up procedure in an evening, and the saw performs much better afterwards.
I would like have heard White's recommendations for storage, cleaning, and top protection (e.g., waxing vs. oiling ground surfaces), as well as his tips and comments for shop safety, but they are justifiably outside the scope of this book. Overall an excellent book that I am very glad to have stumbled upon.
- What can I say, the chapter on setting up your jointer is worth the price of the book by itself. The pictures and the diagrams are great, easy to understand, and the text is informative and easy to read. This book makes you a better woodworker, because your tools will be correctly set up, which also makes them more fun to use and much safer.
I would recommend this book to you, even if you do not own the tool, but are looking at getting into woodworking, with this book you will be better able to understand how the various tools work, and you can buy decent used tools and tune them up, saving you a bundle!
Great book!!
- John White does a great job with nice illustrations. I recommend this to anyone with a woodworking machine. It's amazing how far off your tools are until you set them up correctly. You'll save time and money by making better cuts the first time when the tool is setup correctly. It's amazing we take the time to measure an angle for moulding and when we cut it and it doesn't fit you think you measured incorrectly when it could have been your tool off by one degree.
