1. We had to remove this calendar from the wall when our wire fox terrier died of cancer in April - the photography is gorgeous and catches the very mischievious spirit of this breed but it hurt too much to see the pictures every day. Over the years these calendars have reminded us of what a great choice we made with wire fox terriers.

1. The calendar is in several languages. The paper it is on is not of the highest quality-it's flimsy. The pictures are good, however at least 1 of the photos is the same as in last year's calendar.

1. I enjoy tracing the history of my dogs and being able to see the pictures of relatives taken while still in their prime. Research on all the kennels is very interesting for historical content. A MUST in your library for those seriously interested in the Fox Terrier.



2. I have never seen anyone with more passion for dogs than Grandpa Harold. The man had an intense dedication to everything he did and the research and images used in the book are fabulous. Anyone with any kind of appreciation for terriers will want to see these absolutely beatiful pictures of smooths/wires. I can say because I have seen the work and time that went into this by a single man that this is truly a must have.

1. I was glad to finally find a reliable handbook on the WFT. This book did provide good information for any new puppy owner focusing on certain aspects of the WFT. The chapters on grooming and training were very beneficial. Although I felt a little overwhelmed with the history chapter it was interesting. The pictures throughout the book are beautiful. Since I have not been able to find any other books on the Wire Fox Terrier I would recommend this one to others.

3. First and formost, if you are thinking of getting a Wire Fox, (or as my family call them, "Frankie dog's" -thats the name of our litte terroir) get one. They are the sweetest things on earth, and deffinatly the cutest also. Now for the book, talk about quality! We have had our book for about 6 years, and none of the pages are even ripped. The book gives detailed history of the breed, tips on feeding them, grooming them, and taking care of them. One time we wanted our groomer to cut Frankie a certain way, so we brought in the book and showed the groomer, she was so amazed and wanted to buy it off us! I have never had such a complete and thorough book that has beauty at the same time. Sometimes my mom and I will think that Frankies ears are in a weird position, or his stance is irregular, we just look in the book and sure enough, he's fine :) *****Overall~~~~ Great buy!

5. I am the first-time owner of a Wire Fox Terrier. While I've owned dogs in the past, I was looking for a book that provided additional information into the Wire Fox Terrier's temperament and care. This book isn't bad, but was not as insightful as I had hoped. As other reviews have stated, this book focuses primarily on the breed's history and breed standards. The section on grooming is very helpful and is the only reason why I'm keeping the book. A good portion of the information provided is readily available on the internet.
