1. This is a book for kids? I don't think it is appropriate for anyone. A very, very dark book. A man stalks a young girl for 3 months then "accidentally" kidnaps her . . . . I find it very disturbing that this would be sold as children's literature. My recommendation? Burn it before some other kid "accidentally" reads it.
   I was required to rate this book as "1 star" as "0" was not an option.



2. If you like mystery books you'll love this book.
   It's about a girl named Kate, who gets kidnapped and her sister, Sandy, tries to convince the police that she was. At first they don't believe her because Kate has run away a couple times before. But when a retired cop gets involved her and sandy will find out the truth. They go to Sandy's street and see car tracks pulled up to the sidewalk where someone was walking. The tracks swerve out and then back to the sidewalk further down the street. Then, they see little feet prints headed toward the car. Then the car tracks swerve a U-turn in a fast looking motion and take off down the street. They also find a trailer with candy wrappers lying around a dusted of counter facing a window in Kate's house. If you want to know the rest of the story you will have to read it yourself. If you want to read this book you could probably find it at your local library. I really recommend that you read this book. If you don't you are making a big mistake.

1. Tom Austen is back with his crime solving expertise. This time one of his schoolmates has been kidnapped and it's up to him to find him. But when he begins uncovering interesting facts about the Golden Boy Cafe, and then gets kidnapped himself he needs to use his brain to save the both of them.

   This was a very exciting book. I recommend it to all fans of the mystery genre.
