  1. if you're a fan of the show and want to se good recipes and some gossip of the contestants, then this is a great book to have.

  2. This, the first Top Chef cookbook, is pretty complete for all levels of fans. The best recipes are here, as well as the inside looks into both production and the contestants themselves. While some parts (elemination time lines) are clearly just filler, the overall book is designed to satisfy every fan for any of a number of reasons. Being Top Chef, the recipes are better than many cookbooks currently out by some celebrity Chefs. I would reccomend it for any fan of the show, from fan of reality T.V. to hard core foodie. Also, as you may have learned on the April 23 aring of the show, there is a desert recipe from one of this seasons favorites, Richard, in the back!

  3. As an MTV-style cat-fest, this book does well, touching on the rivalries, pretty faces, and nasty noises of all our favorite culinary impresarios over the last three years. Unfortunately, most of the recipes are about as untried and unworkable as they were on the show. One would almost have had to be to culinary school to follow many of the directions in the first place, and that still doesn't guarantee that the recipes will work. A.O.K. as a coffee table book, but be prepared to be inventive when you flop with every third dish!

  4. I have been hooked on Top Chef since I stumbled across it during the second season. While I don't cook a lot, I LOVE to read cookbooks and this one is great! It entertainly chronicles each season of the TV show, as well as providing great photos of the challenges. Very creatively, the dust jacket is cloth, like a chef's apron! VERY clever.

  5. While the recipes are a major plus, original and at times most certainly not to be found anywhere else...this in itself is in keeping with the spirit of Top Chef, what truly adds the flavor and spice to the untraditional cookbook is the sidebars and stories centered around the series itself.
Even better it doesn't lean toward being mean. It is lightly gossipy while still maintaining its dignity.

Featuring some of the favorite winning recipes:
Elia's Breakfast, lunch, and dinner waffles
    C.J's Crepes
    Mia's Crabcake Benedict
    Hung's Tuna Tartare
    Lea Anne's Deep Fried Oysters
    Dale's Seared Elk Loin
    Tre's Bacon wrapped Shrimp
    Harold's Duo of Beef

    Too name a few.

It also features some major info/updates on the past contestants which is in my opinion the best part of the book...and short Bio Bites on just about every participant and past judges along with major info on Tom, Gail and Padma.

A must have for Top Chef addict and for those looking for some out of the box recipes you certainly can't go wrong.

5 comments about The Most Decadent Diet Ever!: The cookbook that reveals the secrets to cooking your favorites in a healthier way.
  1. I received this book about 1 week ago and have already made 3 of the over 125 WONDERFUL recipes. Theses recipes don't call from 10 ingredients and there is a recipe to feed even the most picky eater(my husband) I have made the rigatoni with meat sauce (husband says it is good) and the chocolate chip pancakes are SO tasty. I am looking foward to diving into this cookbook even more. Devin has outdone herself on this one, this is one cookbook that will not be on a shelf collecting dust.

  2. I bought this book for myself to help with my weightloss journey and my family (who are not watching their weight) have loved the recipes as much as I have. So far, my teenaged son's favorite is the "Better Than Classic Stuffed Shells," with "Almost Mom's Marinara Sauce," and I've made it twice in two weeks.
I just purchased a meat grinding attachment for my stand mixer so I can try my hand at making my own Italian sausage and breakfast sausage, using Devin's recipes.
This book is definitely a keeper, along with the Biggest Loser Cookbook.

  3. I had such high hopes for this cookbook. I was looking for a way to reduce unnecessary calories but still retain excellent taste. After trying this cookbook, I'm convinced it can't be done. I've tried about 6 recipes so far. Three of them, I took one bite and threw the rest away. The other three I ate a serving of and will never make them again. I will try a couple more recipes before I just get rid of the book, but I'm not very hopeful of a satisfactory outcome.

I think my expectations were unrealistic. I wanted reduced calorie/fat food that didn't taste "diet". This is definitely diet food in my opinion. It may be not bad for diet food, but I would certainly not classify it as really good food.

  4. I wanted to cook at home to eat healthier, but I really have no experience in the kitchen. Maybe a couple dishes here and there. This book promised tasty and healthy recipes, but I was nervous my limited skills would not be enough to pull them off. Well, either I am a heretofore unknown culinary master with extra virgin olive oil in my blood, or Alexander has written a fantastic cookbook accessible to even the most all-thumbs kitchen n00bs. (Probably the latter.) Her clear, detailed instructions didn't assume I had grown up in a French restaurant, and her cheery writing style gave me the confidence of Julia Child.

Not to mention, the dishes have been delicious. I've tried four so far and haven't hit a dud yet. This is a great gift for anyone - not just experts or dieters. As Alexander so deftly teaches by example, if you don't have to sacrifice your favorite foods, why not eat healthier?

  5. Where do I begin? Devin has done it again! The "Most Decadent Diet Ever" is one of a kind. I have tons of diet/lowfat cookbooks at home and this book is the first one I've used where I have basically been stumped into thinking that the recipes are fatty. The recipes are loaded with taste and flavor which give off a fatty impression.
And she doesn't use any processed or fake ingredients like some of the other cookbooks out use.
I've made a bunch of recipes so far and every single one of them blew me away. The Chicken Picata is out of this world and tastes so much like the real full fat version, and all the desserts are killer!

THE MOST DECADENT DIET EVER IS A MUST BUY!

  1. I have been a Trisha Yearwood fan since "She's in Love with the Boy". So, obviously, it was a no-brainer purchasing this wonderful and beautiful cookbook. I am no cook by any means, in fact, I'm not real crazy about cooking... until this book. I've already made 4 recipes. If you love Southern food, the South, or anything remotely country - you'll love to try some of these delicious recipes. Family photos and food pictures throughout - all in color - will be an additional enjoyment.

  2. I've been a fan of Trisha's for years (my husband even likes her music and he doesn't care for country music!), so this was a "must have" for me. I've collected lots of cookbooks over the years, but find myself returning to the same type over & over again. I'm sure this one will be one of those books. I've already made the brownies, which were excellent, and the Chicken Pie. Trisha stated that it was "pure comfort food" and the picture looked like a dish I used to order at a restaurant years ago at a restaurant back home in southern Ohio. It didn't disappoint! It was yummy and did taste a bit like the dish I remembered! Thanks for doing a book for people like me.....the ones who don't like complicated recipes, just good food!

  3. This is a wonderful book! Chock full of delicious recipes and lots of beautiful photographs, this book is a perfect go-to cookbook for southern cooking. It has a welcoming feel, easy to understand recipes, and lots of notes and tidbits from Trisha, Gwen, and Beth (her co-writer mother and sister) alongside family photos and mouth-watering recipe photographs. The book is broken down into the following sections: Snacks and Appetizers; Soups and Salads; Beef and Pork; Poultry, Fish and Pasta; Sides; Quick Breads and Muffins; Cakes, Pies, and Puddings; and Cookies, Candy, and Ice Cream. If you love down-home southern cooking then this book is definitely for you.

  4. I was raised in Georgia, but left in young adulthood, so most of these foods are familiar to me. I never learned the technique for getting the same flavor or texture of these dishes since my Mom wasn't southern, so I am thrilled to have this book filled with recipes of real food that I had at school, friends' homes, and dining in southern restaurants. I've already tried 3 of her recipes, her fried chicken tasted just as I remember it, who knew to soak it in brine first...

I can't wait for her/their next cookbook! I enjoy all types of food, cooked many different ways, if it is tasty, and appealing, I'm no food snob. :)

  5. I am a music fan...but most of my music is NOT country. I don't own any of her CD's and have none of her music on my IPOD. BUT...If she continues to put out recipe books...I want to own EVERY ONE OF HER RECIPES. I am from South Georgia. I am old enough to be Trisha's mother. But she can cook circles around me. And some of her hints and especially her recipes my mom did not pass on to me. So please...continue this. I can't wait for the next book.

  1. I looked for a book that would help me understand which variables can I manipulate to affect the outcome in my cooking of : meat, bread, eggs, sauces, vegetables ... etc. And would help me with food handling practice - bringing it out of habit in to understanding. Different cultures handle food differently - I wanted to understand what effects those habits have. How does food spoil? And what are the variables that one can control - and how do cultures control them?

This book responds to those questions, bringing real understanding to my kitchen. And it responds to them on both an overview level and a scientific level, and one can engage either or both.

The book really appeals to be because this isn't a scientist writing dryly about food, this is a food lover bringing the context of history and science to food preparation.

  2. This is an excellent book filled with great information in what I like to call a "pick up and read a little" format. It is logically arranged and well indexed but it lends itself well to random reading. Think of it as part Extraordinary Origins of Everyday Things, part chemistry primer, and part dictionary of eatables.

Since buying this book, I leave it within easy reach on the top of the bookshelf and typically pick it up and choose something at random and learn something new.

Very readable, well illustrated and a great value: you will not regret purchasing this book.

  3. A scientific approach to cooking. It covers all aspexts of food preparation, has extensive bibliography and a good index. This book is not for casual cookers. The reader has to be serious in his desire to profundize his knowledge of the minutia that makes the difference between a casually prepared dish and a great one. He/she have to possess some knowledge of chemistry to get a good information in regard to the delicate aspects of different forms of heat, coockware etc. All and all, it is an excellent source of good information for the serious cook.

  4. I bought this book for my husband, at his request. He's not much of a cook, but he is intrigued by the encyclopedic knowledge of food and food preparation that this book includes. He is very pleased with the purchase. And I will refer to it, I'm sure.

  5. I love this book. Even when I know quite a bit about something he manages to tell me more.

5 comments about The Splendid Table's How to Eat Supper: Recipes, Stories, and Opinions from Public Radio's Award-Winning Food Show.
  1. As a former caterer and still-avid cook, when I saw this book, I grabbed it. I like to read a cookbook--in other words, give me cooking tips, great stories and exciting recipes!

The book begins: "The world is divided into two kinds of people: those who wake up thinking about what they're going to eat for supper, and those that don't. We are decidedly in the former camp; in fact we wake up thinking about what we are going to cook for supper."

    I love it!

What I love even more is Lynne Rossetto Kasper and Sally Swift's philosophy on food: "We feel strongly about local, sustainable, and organic food... This philosophy doesn't come solely from concerns over well-being. It is larger than that. It is about ecology, the survival of rural life, and values."

    Amen!

    Some highlights:

In salad section, there is a do-it-yourself dressing kit. If you buy bottled dressings, please give this a try--homemade dressing is extremely easy to make and far superior to store-bought.

In soup section, the authors advise how to improvise your own soups.

Basically, the authors seek to teach the reader how to cook and they do a great job. The neat part about cooking is that no matter how experienced you are, there is always more to learn.

I look forward to trying many of the recipes in this beautiful book. The instructions are crystal clear, to boot.

A quote from the book: "I aam not a vegetarian because I love animals. I am a vegetarian because I hate plants." A. Whitney Brown

By the author of the award winning book,Harmonious Environment: Beautify, Detoxify and Energize Your Life, Your Home and Your Planet.

  2. I received the book with at damaged book jacket and requested a replacement. I sent the damaged book back and that all went fine and dandy, but AMAZON sent me two replacement copies, arriving 3 days apart from each other. My shipments come to my workplace and unfortunately the 2nd copy got opened by a colleague of mine , put aside and now you have sent me an email saying that I need to send it back with the packing slip. I do not have the paperwork and will purchase this 2nd unasked for copy and make a gift of it to a friend of mine, but I think you should check you records and note that I didnot request 2 replacement copies.

  3. I love the attitude of the authors. They provide recipes that sound both delicious and doable and they tell me things I want to know (like you really do brown the chicken in chicken adobo after you have cooked it). Great book!

  4. Again and again I find myself excited to pick up this unique more-than-a-cookbook. Recipes for healthy food prepared with manageable numbers of ingredients abound, and lessons on technique teach us how to think about food and work with it. Not only are the tips, quotes, and book recommendations fascinating to learn, but variations to many recipes inspire me to think about food creatively. I gleaned so much from this one book and enjoy myself each time I open it. The scope of The Splendid Table's How to Eat Supper invites the reader to cook more and learn more about food and culinary customs.

Graphically, the work's clear, inviting font sizes and types delight the eye. I have fun reading it and find it tremendously inspiring. The enthusiasm of its authors is infectious, instantly making this my favorite cooking treatise!

WHEN IS YOUR NEXT BOOK COMING OUT? : ) I'll be waiting for it.

  5. Am I the only person who was surprised to find grammatical errors in this book? I know, I know, it's a cook/lifestyle book and I should get a life, but I wish they had sent me a galley copy so I could have fixed the handful of errors. And no, grammar isn't that important when the food and life promulgated on the pages are so passionately, lushishly described.

But here's the thing: I have begun to wonder if there might be some finer points missing in the directions as well. The first recipe I chose to make was the Butter-Steamed Leeks, and nowhere does it say if the leeks should be sliced. The authors want me to make a vertical cut down the length of each leek (which to me is not the same thing as "slice in half vertically") and then soak them to remove grit. Fair enough, but that's it. Most recipes then have you cut the leeks crosswise into one or half inch slices. But I am left to my own devices here. Not that I am going to get into serious trouble if I decide to slice or not to slice, but this is the kind of attention to detail (as well as grammar) that differentiates good cookbooks from great cookbooks.

Regardless, it's still a recommended book (tomorrow night I'm making the covershot Tumeric Potatoes) though I would have appreciated more photos of the dishes and/or their preparation.

  1. Great book! Every receipe that I have tried has been full of flavor and easy to do! I would recommend this book to everyone whether they are trying to lose weight, eat healthy or just like to cook.

  2. I have enjoyed every recipe I have tried out of this book so far. I just wish I could find it in notebook style like BH&G's cookbook. Because I know that I will continue to use it as one of my main recipe book in the future. She includes many fruits, veggies, fresh herbs and whole grains.

As a side note, I do wish that the Main Dish section were not so protein heavy. Most of the Main Dishes do include some veggies which is helpful. But, as a busy mom I need quick one dish meals that don't require a meat and a side, and it is helpful to just have the veggies with the meat. There are a few one dish dinners that I will use the majority of the time.

I will use this a bit less in Summer than in Winter just because in the Summer Months I am going to try for a more Raw DietLiving on Live Food excluding meat.

The photographs make your mouth water and the recipes are not difficult nor are there too many exotic ingredients. Out of several Diet Cookbooks purchased in the past few months this was by far my favorite.

  3. I have made several things in this cookbook and haven't been disappointed in a single one. This is an incredible cookbook. I highly recommend it. We're huge fans of Ellie so having all her recipes in one spot has been a blessing to me. If you want to eat healthy but not sacrifice taste or quantity, this is the cookbook for you!

  4. I made the chicken fingers and they were not very good. My son refused to eat one and my husband asked that I not make them again. They weren't crispy, but more soggy. I do have to try some other recipes, and I totally recommend all Cookbooks by Sandi Richard (also on Food Network). So far, her recipes are EXCELLENT and very easy!

  5. I have always liked watching her on Food Network because the information you got from her was excellent. She explains what nutrients do for your body and each recipe gives you the "good source" and "excellent source" of some of these nutrients. I found this book so interesting that I actually read it cover to cover. It is so much more than your average cookbook! I love the recipes, there hasn't been one I haven't liked!

  1. If you wanted just one book of recipes for cookies then, for me, this would be it.Well laid out with sections of different textures it is easy to choose the perfect cookie for any occasion-or just when you are in the mood to do a bit of baking. There is excellent variety in the recipes and I was especially pleased to see the recipe for Rum Raisin Shortbread which I had originally found in Living magazine. These cookies always get rave reviews when I make them.

  2. As always Martha Stewart's books dealing with cooking are FANTASTIC.

A must buy for a newly beginning cook to the older seasoned cook.

  3. This collection of recipes from Martha Stewart Living is beautifully organized by texture & type and covers the gamut from the most basic of cookies to some of the most adventurous. it is not by martha herself which I found refreshing since it doesn't pre-suppose you have a kitchen full of exotic ingredients and expensive equipment. Even the most daring cookies here can be attempted by a modestly equipped cook. Cookies with similar basic ingredients & textures are grouped together to illustrate how easy it can be to change up a basic recipe and trick it out for a more sophisticated taste-bud or occasion. The old standby's are here as well. All the recipes rely on good wholesome ingredients and very basic preparation methods but they add a flare of imagination. The cookie on the cover is a terrific example - chocolate filled chewy gingerbread! Yum! Inside are other similarly invetnive recipes such as Cream Cheese Shortbreads, Chocolate Malt Sandwhich cookies and more.

The best part of this book is that EVERY cookie is photographed so that you can see exactly how they are intended to look when finished. In addition, the instructions are free from frothy observations or self-congratulatory rhetoric that mar some her other publications. She did not write this book and it shows. Her editors wrote it. And that my friends, is a GOOD THING when it comes to a book such as this which is intended to be the only cookie book you'll ever need. I have already bought several as gifts for young mothers I know and dedicated cookie baking pals. This is really the last cookie book I will ever need. It will take me years to run out of recipes to try from this collection.

  4. Don't let the above line lead you to believe I'm not a Martha Stewart fan, becuase I am. I think she's done a lot for this world. However, for the money and it being from Martha the perfectionist who runs a multi-billion dollar company, I would have liked a hardcover cookbook, and I expected to see more pictures of the cookies. We eat with our eyes, and seeing a what a cookie looks like makes me want to make and eat it. The few pictures in it look like they weren't even professionaly photographed. The book overall just seemed to be low budget and nothing spectacular.

  5. Book was dirty on front and back covers. Didn't look to be in "new" condition!

  1. This is a good book. Lots of great recipes and snack ideas for those trying to loose weight.

  2. Love it. According to my husband I have a slight addiction to cookbooks but this cookbook I would not have looked at since I'm not looking to be the Biggest Loser. My coworker (who is a fitness attict) brought it in to work and I started to look at it. I was hooked and had to purchase it myself. I have made 3 meals so far and they are healthy, SIMPLE, and small portion sizes so you don't always have to cook a meal for 8. This cookbook is for anyone who wants to cook a nutritious meal that they do not have to feel guilty about in the morning. Then I also have the Paula Deen collection for the other days!!

  3. I purchased this as I am trying to increase my cooking skills and improve my health through eating right. I really enjoy the show, and there are several really good recipes, but that are many that were a disappointment. You also need to be careful with calories and fat content on several of the recipes. My recommendation is to purchase Chris Carmichael's book "5 Essentials for a Winning Life". It has some challenging recipes, but they are very good and you can feel the difference when you eat correctly.

I guess the main thing to remember is that everyone is different, so what works for me may not work for you. Good luck with your goals!

  4. Some of the recipes are really good - of the dozen or so that my husband and I have tried, there was only one that we said we wouldn't make again - I was really surprised that a "healthy" eating cookbook would offer so many options that taste good and easy to make. I also liked that they included the nutrition information on every page, and most have pictures with them. Overall, I am pretty pleased with this recipe book.

  5. I Use this Book Daily for all my meals. I wish I would have bought it sooner. The Recipes are Wonderful. I have yet to find one I did not like. The Recipes are very easy to follow. I recommend this Book Highly. I have lost not only weight but inches. You can not go wrong buying this Book. If your serious about losing weight this is the book for you. 1. A fantastic cake decorating book both for the professional or home baker. The cupcake designs are truly unique and the extensive range of designs ensures cakes for any occasion or traditional celebration. As yet this book it not available in book stores in Australia. After seeing the author of 'Hell Cupcake" interviewed on television we had to have the book. Thank goodness for Amazon. com. We are gradually working our way through the book.

  2. I just can't express enough how amazing this book is. It is very thick, full of ideas that I would have never even dreamed about. They're all easy to replicate, too! Really, there are no words to describe how fantastic this book is, you really must buy it and see it for yourself. There are cupcakes for every occasion, from funny to formal. Buy it. BUY IT!

  3. This is a wonderful book. It really is easy, even for a beginner. I had a blast and was so proud of my results-my cupcakes acutally looked like the picture. My 4 year old son helped and he was able to be a wonderful assistant. There was no frustration for either of us.

  4. This book was a fun and fabulous find for me. With cupcakes becoming such a hot dessert trend, it is great to have a resource at my fingertips to make treats that get rave reviews, without stewing over coming up with the ideas. Some of the cupcakes are clearly more time consuming (not to be attempted by the amateur) but most of them are pretty easy to replicate and are a marvel for kids to have a cupcake and eat one too.

  5. I don't have much to add that hasn't already been said, however I just wanted to say I couldn't get over all the cute cupcakes in the book. I made the "Corn on the Cob" and the "Spaghetti & Meatballs" cupcakes for my son's birthday party. Both were super easy and incredibly adorable! I got so many compliments on them and will definitely be making more cute cupcakes as birthdays and other occasions arise. I'm not very good at "cake decorating", however I found these cupcakes to be extremely easy to decorate. Some are a bit more advanced, but all the techniques you need are in the book with color pictures so it's pretty foolproof. A+++++ book!

  1. I have been a fan of the Hungry Girl website for a while now. It's so wonderful to finally have a collection of what I consider fabulous recipes right in front of me. I am NEVER disappointed in HG's recipes and Lisa is dead on when she says something is tasty (or not). My daughter made HG's delicious turkey meatloaf (from the HG book) for a terrific Mother's Day dinner for me. She followed it with HG's pudding/CoolWhip ice cream cone for dessert. I couldn't have asked for a better Mother's Day dinner!

The nutritional content is excellent information that is printed with every recipe in the book. I use my Weight Watchers point "slider" as a book marker so I can calculate the number of points in each dish.

The price of the book was extremely reasonable, too. I hope the NEXT book from HG has more color pictures though. I know it's expensive to print color photos but would be HAPPY TO PAY MORE $$ for the book if it had pictures for each recipe. You hear me HG?

  2. I've been a subscribing member to Hungry Girl's email for about 6 months. And when I heard that they were coming out with this cookbook, I was so excited. And this book did not let me down. I like to eat, but I don't like cooking. The recipes in this book are simple, use few ingredients, easy to make, and are very tasty. I don't even look at my other cookbooks anymore. It doesn't even feel like it's a cookbook!

  3. Of the four recipes that I've tried so far, I've enjoyed the ones that don't rely so much on fat-free products. The chopped buffalo salad was spicy, delicious, and quite filling, but I don't think that it tasted just like the industrial-strength version. It was easy to make and I recommend it to anyone who likes spicy food.

I was a little wary of the English muffin pizzas because I used to make those as a kid and never really cared for them. I also have never been crazy about turkey pepperoni. I added some pizza seasoning to the tomato sauce and cooked the pizzas in the oven rather than a toaster oven. I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty these little pizzas turned out - even with the fat-free mozzarella cheese. The turkey pepperoni was crispy and the pizzas (made from one English muffin) satisfied my hunger.

My husband liked the twice-baked potato, but I thought that it tasted strange. The mixture wasn't too cheesy and had an odd taste and consistency. I'm not a big fan of baked potatoes, but if I were to make this recipe again, I might use reduced fat cheese rather than fat-free cheese. And yes, I know that will change the calorie and fat content of the recipe.

The onion ring recipe was very disappointing. While the rings smelled and looked good, they didn't taste as great as the author promised they would. They were dry and sweet-tasting. I've tried other mock onion ring recipes before and have been let down. I think that I will stick to the fried ones in moderation when I do indulge.

One thing that I do like about this recipe book is that it doesn't tout a plan with all kinds of restrictions. I plan to use some of the recipes in this book along with some other resources that I have in my quest to eat healthier.

  4. Hungry Girl is a great addition to the to the growing book genre for foodies and food fanatics who love food but want to modify their habit a bit and interleaf healthy ingredients into the mix - or batter if it were. The book encourages you to eat low-calorie versions of burgers, French fries, pizza, onion rings, burritos, chocolate cake, brownies, cheese nachos, frozen margaritas, fudge, ice cream freezes, and other "guilt-free" junk foods as well as cocktails. If life is just not worth living unless you can indulge your love of food, this book is for you. You can feel less guilty because the recipes are lower in fat and calories - that is the motto of this book. The author seems to believe that indulging yourself in low-calorie versions of junk food (called "guilt-free junk food") will tame your cravings. I really wonder if the opposite occurs.

The book is full of great ideas for making smarter food choices when you are at a party or in a fast food situation, and also provides weight-loss tips, cooking tips, and shopping lists. The book includes recipes for breakfasts, salads, soups, lunches, sandwiches, junk foods, chili, pizzas, appetizers, party foods, chocolate treats, fruit recipes, baked goods, coffee treats, desserts, and cocktails.

The book delivers on its promise - tasty, lower-calorie versions of classically unhealthy foods! If you know you are eating poorly and want to begin the journey to healthier eating, this book is a good first step to being conscious of what you are putting into your mouth. 5. This book is amazing. So far I have tried the chicken strips and they were awesome. Check out her website. She has a ton of recipes on there too! I've tried the double chocolate chip frappachino from starbucks and it was great. Her taco bell recipes were wonderful too!
