1. This book is wonderful! It has been personalized with stories from quilters everywhere. The recipes are fun and refreshing. I would highly recommend this book, to quiters and non-quilters alike!



2. Already have the Christmas Quilters Cookbook and love it. Thought this would be a good addition. Lots of great everyday and company recipes so it will be used often.



3. The most used cookbook in my house---my daughter recently moved out and said that is the one cookbook that she would have liked to have---got it used for Christmas at Amazon and she is thrilled.



4. A special friend gave me this cookbook about 10 years ago. It was my favorite, despite the fact that 1/2 of it was ruined by a coffee maker spill. I continued to use it til it fell apart into 3 parts. I decided it was time to get another one. Now I have one that's good as new and I look forward to destroying it from use once again!



5. Have had this cookbook for several years. Recently purchased for a wedding shower gift for a niece. She loves it too. My husband and I both cook and collect cookbooks. We have an entire bookshelf of cookbooks. This is one of the first ones we pick up when looking for something new to try. I use the recipes time and time again. Well written, easy to follow, common ingredients, good home cooking. Buy it, you won't be sorry.

1. This is a good book but I gave it 3 stars for being so tiny and not including much at all. I don't think I paid that much for it though so I guess that's why.

1. amish cooking is truly an amazing little cook book. i have made at least 12 of these recipes so far and i have not been disappointed yet. i made the baked barbecue chicken for my teenage son history class. the teacher and his wife just loved it and so did the kids. my husband loves the beef stroganoff casserole, the country chicken chowder, even the herbed green bean casserole and thats saying something because he doesn't really like green beans all that much. the staff at school loves the apple scotch snack cake. i can go on and on. i'm so impressed with this cook book that i've been searching for another copy of this book to give to a friend for christmas because it absolutely will make a wonderful gift and i'm so glad that i found it again. thanks!

1. Every recipe is wonderful. The recipes are simple and taste great. Everything I've tried comes out great. Many of the recipes have become favorite standards that we enjoy time and time again. Yum!

1. This is one of my most used cookbooks. I was raised eating a lot of Pa Dutch food but the aunt who cooked it passed away before I could pick her brain for all of her secrets. Ms. Groff's recipes are always exactly how I remember my aunt's dishes tasting.



2. I picked up this cookbook hoping to discover some recipes to make for my mother that would remind her of the cooking that she grew up with. I was not disappointed! There were several old favorites and many recipes that I could swear were family secrets. The Dandelion Salad with Bacon Dressing and Potato Filling recipes were very similar to what we make for special occasions, and the Apple Fritters, Hot Potato Salad, Coconut Cake, and the Ham, Green Beans, and Potatoes dishes reminded us of several other recipes we had not made in a long time. Listed by food type in an easy-to-follow format, the only thing missing in this book was a beautiful picture of each of the recipes. If you enjoy cooking, are from Penn Dutch country, or just want to sample some regional cooking, this book is a great choice for you! Enjoy!
