1. I have had this computer for 3 months and love it. I have had no problems at all it runs very quiet and blazingly fast. My Vista experience rating on this is 5.7. This is a great machine.



2. I must say that after buying Dell for the last 5 years this is such a much better system for the hard earned buck. I replaced my monster XPS700 with this one and I slapped an NVIDIA 9800 GTX card on it and this baby rocks. I am running WoW and AoC without any issues whatsover. This one is worth getting....!!!



3. The HP Pavilion M8430F Desktop PC I purchased from amazon.com arrived within 2 days of the order. Perfect timing. Initial setup was easy and the documentation, though minimal, was adequate. After several days of working with the unit the DVD recorder/player stopped working. I immediately called HP's toll free customer support and after turning the unit over to their control on-line, the technician edited the registry and solved the problem. I was impressed to say the least. The unit is fast at rendering video clips, which is the main reason I chose this computer in the first place. However, that said, not all of my video/audio editing software has installed successfully. The software in question was updated to work with Vista but apparently only works with Vista's 32 bit version. From what I can glean from user forums the software really doesn't like any version of Vista. So, now I am at a crossroad. I'd like to go back to Windows XP Pro in order to get ALL of my software to work, but in so doing I will apparently lose the use of that 4th gig of ram and possibly all of the Windows Media Center capability that the unit has to offer. Decisions, decisions. I like the computer - but I don't like the operating system.



4. This is a nice computer but one of the main reasons that I bought it was because it had the audio/video input card in the front of the tower in the fourth picture. I was wrongly mislead when I just got it in the mail there was no such interface, but other than that I don't really have a problem with it. This makes me mad because I bought a new monitor separately in faith that I would be able to use it to hook my 360 to my computer and play on my monitor (I have to still see if that is possible).



5. Extremely happy with my new system. No porblems have surfaced using Vista as of yet.

1. I just purchased this laptop this week, but am already thrilled with it. The HDD is large enough to meet the needs of most users, and the speed and graphics should make all but dedicated gamers happy. The laptop does get warm while running, but so have all my previous Toshibas so I am used to this weakness. Battery life could definitely be better, especially if you hope to be truly mobile, but I've had no problems just plugging in at the coffee shop etc. The machine weighs less than half what my old laptop did so it truly is more portable for me. This would be a great choice for a college student- small enough to carry back and forth to the library or classroom, powerful enough to last the four years of school. I highly recommend it!

1. All I can say is... this CPU cooler is tremendously huge. Pictures of this item should be posted with something else to compare size. At first, I was afraid this fan would not fit into the case (you won't believe how huge it is), or neither was targeted for tower-type cases. I mounted the fan using the provided parts for LGA775 socket. Hopefully I bought an Antec 900 case, no problem at all. Installation was easy. Got this one for an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, benchmark tests provided by EVEREST v4.0.976 marked 35°C idle (using lowest fan speed) and 49°C at full CPU usage. By the way, thermal paste is included (no need to get an extra spare). All I can say is I recommend this one... and yes! It can be mounted for tower case designs



2. This heatsink (HS) is a great cooler in operation BUT you have to install it first. I have an ASUS P5K motherboard and installation of the HS was nearly impossible. I had to remove my case power supply to gain hand access to one of the fasteners. The HS radiator is so large that there is no room to get your fingers down to the fastener. Like I said, after installation it cooled as expected. It is a good buy, just be prepared for a little hand-wringing and frustration during installation.



3. Liquid cooling? Uhh, no thanks. I'll take this fan anyday. Installation was easy, click and go and it works like a charm.



4. This is Wonderfull cooler ... I use it with AMD 6400+ Black Edition with Overclocking reached 3.75Ghz windows and 6.40Ghz Bios !!!!! with Asus M2N32-WS Pro ...
   
   The only problem when you want to use the 4X slot ram .. you can only use 2 of them because of this big cooler
   
   MY CPU temp is 35C to 38C IDLE and 45C to 48C max and for some peak it rech 52C max
   
   Exclent if you have big case and want to use only 2 Ram slot
   Recommended



5. it keeps my cpu very cool. Cools like an arctic freeze. Low noise. Looks very cool! It's relatively easy to install. wow...big , Need a case big enough for it to fit....most likely not a case without ventilation on the cover.
