1. My PC is still working, so this cpu fan works, but what I like is the LED's and the uv rings it came with it. Looks great in the case, and comes with optional speed control. Buyers beware this is a bulky fan, make sure you have room to fit before buying.

1. This processor is probably the best in it's class at this time when it comes to single core processors. Although i barely see the improvement in performance when it comes to speed, I believe that it was a worthy upgrade from my Athlon 64 bit 3200+.
   
   Also, when it comes to gaming (which I mainly use my pc for)... it leaves a bit to be desired.

1. I use a Dell (my work computer) but when I wanted to buy a laptop for my two teenage daughters I picked this one. It seems to have enough features for them to enjoy now, and it probably should last them 2-3 years (seems to be the life expectancy of a laptop, at least for me). They play a lot of video games on it and the processor is fast enough to keep up with the graphics.
   
   My sons all own Apples and usually swear by them, but sometimes (when they play video games) they swear at them. So far I think that I make the right choice with this computer.

3. I was hoping for a little bit better operating speed but the graphics card makes up a plenty for 3D games. I run Flight Simulator X and it runs smooth at all but the very highest settings and then it is only a little jerky.



4. This special edition laptop has it all. Price, features, quality..3 months ago I reasearched every brand feature and associated cost and selected this lapatop for myself. Then my wife needed one too so I went thru the same process and still selected this laptop so we bought the second one...for $200.00 less then the 1st. Very happy with these purchases and saved the sales tax by using Amazon.con...such a deal!



5. I bought this laptop about a year back and right away installed Windows Vista professional edition. I love this laptop with one exception, the key board is badly designed. The mouse pad is extremely sensitive and it is very common that while type my had would touch the keypad and courser would move to a different location without my knowing.

1. I have built 2 computers using this motherboard and so far they have performed very well. They are very fast with excellent graphics and I have not found anything that doesn't work. For the money it has far exceeded my expectations.

1. I bought this about 3 months ago for $550. At first I thought I had found a great deal but found out a few problems with time. First of all the cd-rom wont read the dvds I put in it. I know its not the dvds fault because my old dell laptop reads them just fine. Secondly, the battery life is much worse than expected. One of the reasons I got a new laptop was because my old one's battery life had become so poor over the years. This Toshiba is brand new and it barely gets over an hour of battery life. If you're like me than you don't really ever use the cd-rom nowadays anyway and most of the time I'm near an outlet so I still gave it three stars because those really are the only problems. However I would not recommend buying it at the currently inflated price.

3. The laptop is really nice. It has 64-bit AMD processors, which I feel work faster that Intel chips (from my own experience). It would be near perfect if not for the awful Vista OS. Vista is simply awful for me to use until I performed numerous tweaks that turned off most of its so-called improvements. Once I disabled most of Vista's "improvements" the laptop's speed really screamed upwards dramatically. A new Vista user should google the web for Vista speed tweaks--I found 10 on one site and more on others. Since I use my own firewall, a secure proxy, several spyware catchers, etc., I don't use Windows defender or any of the other new garbage that Microsoft put in Vista. The laptop would be absolutely wonderful had it come with XP (a far superior OS to Vista IMHO).



4. The computer should be fast, but compared to a old laptop with a pentium 3 running XP it is a dog. The pentium 3 run circles around it and the Toshiba has not had any applications installed and is right out of the box.
   Never buy any product with Microsoft Vista.



5. If you're reading this review right now, then chances are you want to make sure you are making the right choice.
   Let me assure you, if you're planning on purchasing a Toshiba laptop, you are not.
   
   Please, google "toshiba laptop complaints" and get the REAL reviews.
   As for my input...
   this is a conversation that took place in an authorized toshiba shipping store:
   me: "Man, let me tell you something... NEVER buy a Toshiba laptop."
   clerk: "With the ammount of them that we ship back every month, I never would."
   
   ..just in case you were wondering how many laptops this authorized postal service receives from customer and ships out for repair every month - "..about 30" is the answer that I got

1. Watch out...this is the power supply only, not a 7 bay ATX Case with PS included. Be careful not to make the same mistake I did.



2. I had the same experience as Wendy in Nebraska. The description is clearly of a computer case, and all I received was a power supply. I complained and Amazon sent me another power supply. I refused it, and will return the first one for a refund.Someone at Amazon should read the reviews and make some corrections.

1. Such a pity, the looks and performance of the PC itself is outstanding from its speed to its media capability. BUT both the keyboard and mouse that were supplied with this HP PC repeatedly froze up!
   
   I've consumed so many hours with the call center uninstalling, restalling drivers; resetting BIOS; subsituting hardware I already owned from other machines, to no avail!
   
   My solution? I purchased a USB keyboard and mouse from another manufacturer and it works perfectly. Disappointed that HP did not provide this solution. Also it's a pity that two valuable USB slots are now consumed with basic imput devices...but at least it now works.



2. Very good and powerfull computer. Takes little space and the wi-fi perfect, no more cables. Still dont like Vista that much but the computer is very fast and silent.



3. I bought this for my small business and it is perfect. It is small and powerful. I highly recommend it.



4. I bought this about 3 weeks ago, maybe a bit longer, and the first week i had it i had to call up HP and have it sent in for repairs. Expecting it back in a few days from the repair place. Very pleased with HP's support, not to pleased with the purchase. There shouldnt be any reason I need to send it in for repairs the first week of using it.
   
   On the other hand, from what I saw, it works well. The TV connector in the back helps with space, so we only need a monitor, and not a tv, monitor, desk, etc etc. 500 gb of space means i can save my shows and not worry about running out of space. They say 3 gb of RAM, but I got 4. Evidentally they all do, but the computer only utilizes 3 gb, and the other 1 is for cache.
   
   Very good computer for the price, just waiting to actually be able to use it! Kind of disappointed, since I have not been able to use the tower, or the monitor i purchased through amazon. Hope it works, and there are no other issues once I get it running.



5. Great price, quite fast, and BluRay works nicely in Media Center. However, the fan is a little too loud, it does not have Wireless N built in (I checked, but I could be wrong), and it should have an eSata port for an external drive to support HD playback.
   
   Overall, I am very pleased!
