- This is an indispensible resource for beginning through advanced FDC collectors. There are values listed for all Scott numbers for FDC or EKU (earliest known use) covers. For modern issues, valuations are provided for singles, blocks, plate blocks, and FDC ceremony programs. Complete coverage is also provided for back-of-the-book issues, postal stationery, plate number coils, presidential inauguration and related covers, and World War II patriotic covers. A cachet calculator helps in determining values for individual cachetmakers. Many first cachets are illustrated. My only suggestion for future editions would be to include more illustrations of cachets and fewer illustrations of stamps, which are readily available through other sources.
