1. A very useful reference of what items were valued at in 1993. Offers values on American, British and German bears & toys. A lot of good information on the American brand of North American Bear Co. with the VIB and Vanderbear collections. Useful information on Steiff, Schuco Toy Co. and even Raggady Ann and Andy Dolls! I can't wait for a more current 5th edition but this 4th edition is a wonderful reference to at least see what items were valued at by 1993.

1. Hi What I like most about this book is that is has many graphics. It is a great inspiration for someone who uses paperdolls in their scrapbooks. I would have loved to see paperdolls representing the work place though ie(doctor, fireman, nurse...) I loved to see the faces and hair section. A+++

1. I wish I had read the reviews before I bought this book, it is NOTHING like I hoped it would be. There is absolutely no substance inside the covers....fluff and trash. Sorry, but I have to warn others of this disappointing book!

This book was a great new additon to my libray i have many items in this book and it helped me figure out exactly what my colletion is worth. it was pleasure to read and i find my self using all the time when i am on ebay. thanks Mr Noble for putting together such a wonderful book. i will always refer to it when ever i need some information on a particalr piece. 3. I purchased this book at a Diana Dress Show in Spartenburg SC where Mr. Nobles attended. I have found this book and the contents to be very accurate and the author to be very knowledgable about the history of Princess Diana. It is not a large or thick book and is in paperback however the contents are very informative. I would reccomend this book to any collector of Princess Diana memoribilia. Mr. Nobles is a very intelligent man of whom I am glad to have met.



4. I was very disappointed with this book. The only good thing I can say about it is I am thankful for Amazon.com's generous return policy.

   I didn't like it for two reasons: A. I am a serious Diana collector, and most of the things from my collection were not even listed in the book.

   B. The valuing of each item was very vague. If your an "expert" on Diana memorabilia, you should be able to quote more exact amounts.




5. I received this book for Christmas and after reading through it, I still can't believe that any publisher would have accepted this 'lack of substance' and put it between covers and actually try to sell it. Not one thing that I own was in this book, not 1 cup, not 1 plate, not 1 figurine, not 1 book.

   I gave the book back to the person who gave me this gift and asked them to return it...it has no place in my collection!

1. Nice variety of photographs of "non-doll" related items including postcards, photographs, magazines, paper dolls, books, posters, and sewing items. Prices are realistic for the secondary market. Small assortment of photographs of composition, early vinyl, and look-a-like dolls. If you are collecting "non-doll" related items this is a great reference. For a large variety of doll photos check out Edward Pardella's "Shirley Temple Dolls and Fashions." He also has an updated version going to print soon.
