- How can a movie be bad when it is starring not only the great Liam Neeson but also probably the best actor in all of hollywood, Daniel Day-Lewis! Leonardo is also really good! The movie can be long at points to people but it is one of my favorite movies from my movie collection!
- This was one of my all time favorite movies. Definately in the top 10. However, I thought it was a bit long. The length of the movie took away some of the suspense. I thought the movie was similar to a modern day gangster movie. "friends close and enemies closer" Thought it was good.
- Amazing movie. Daniel Day Lewis is fantastic as Bill the Butcher. Although I'm not a fan, DiCaprio does a really nice job as well. Long movie but keeps your attention. The violence is done very tastefully so it's not all blood and gore. Highly recommended.
- Scorsese's direction is right-on in this period film. Very impressive acting by Diaz is surprising as well. Lewis and DiCaprio give Oscar worthy performances as well. The screenplay is so convoluted in sections that you'll wonder if it will ever straighten out: It does. This spool of yarn that irritates you to unravel, reveals a beautiful pearl inside.
- Disney just slapped the old transfer made for the DVD on this BD disk. The DVD was notorious for bad image quality with grotesquely overdone digital sharpening and noise filtering. The Blu Ray is the same, justh with additional resolution to see all the uglyness with enhanced clarity.
This is a crap transfer that should be withdrawn immediately or it will damage Disney's reputation of releasing high quality HD disks. Yes, it is this bad compared to the state of the art from Disney and other studios.

5 comments about GoodFellas.
- This is definately one to add to the collection. Its a classic that ranks up with the Godfather Trilogy
- I'll keep this short and simple:
The Godfather is the best MAFIA movie ever.
Goodfellas is the best MOB movie ever. Period.
- This item came ontime and was in perfect condition. Just the way it should be
- This movie fails where others succeed. I know that lots of people think that this is one of Martin Scorcese's best films of all time, but they are just dead wrong. It is about three friends who work in the mob and eventually they all do horrible, horrible things to one another.
To begin with, this movie is obviously a work of fiction because who would believe that someone like Robert DeNiro could be a gangster? If you've ever seen him in Stanley & Iris, you know that he is much more believable as a good man who just wants to read with Jane Fonda. Also, Joe Pesci is really great as the short mafiaman in this movie.
This kind of movie is definitely not Martin Scorcese's forte, and even if someone like George Lucas (awesome director) were to do it, it wouldn't be much better because the story doesn't make sense. Why do these three friends decide to do mob violence all the time? Do you think they would really talk with such foul mouths too ("f" this and "f" that)??? I love My Cousin Vinny, and I don't believe Joe Pesci had to say any bad words to make that movie hilarious.
Basically this movie is like a reality TV show that you would turn off quickly because there's nothing interesting about it. And the three friends in the movie also do drugs, which I am against.
I think this film would be good for carpenters and other tradesmen, because they probably like this kind of thing. For the rest of us, it's for the birds!!!! If you see it, you will blame yourself forever, and that's not being fair to the you inside.
Maybe next time, Martin Scorcese. Maybe next time.
- I'll admit that when I first saw `GoodFellas' I was less than impressed. I didn't understand why so many hailed it as the best of Scorsese. In fact, the first thirty minutes or so bored me to such an extent that I turned it off and went on the watch something else.
I know now that I was an idiot.
Martin Scorsese is known for his gritty gangster films (although I much prefer his films like `Taxi Driver' and `Raging Bull') and with that in mind one must come to an appreciation for `GoodFellas', which is in all honestly Scorsese's finest gangster film. The opening sequence, with De Niro, Liotta and Pesci driving out into the woods with a body in the trunk of the car, is priceless; utterly priceless. It classically captures the ruthlessness of these men in their aspirations of power, money and most of all, respect.
`GoodFellas' tells the true story of Henry Hill, an Irish/Italian who rose up in the mafia ranks beginning in the 50's and carrying through to 1980 when he entered the witness protection program. Beginning in his early teens, Hill desired so badly to be a gangster that he found himself running small errands for mob boss Paul Cicero, getting in his good graces. By the time he was twenty-one Hill had made a good name for himself in the mob community and continued to make money for himself and for his boss, Paulie. Hill meets and marries the beautiful Karen and begins to build a life for his newfound family that revolves around murder, extortion and drugs.
But what goes up must come down.
`GoodFellas' takes a little time to establish itself in the beginning (thus the reason that I wrote it off all those years ago when I first saw it) but once it finds its footing it takes off brilliantly. I often see `GoodFellas' compared to `Casino', the large majority standing by `GoodFellas' as the superior film and yet a small yet sturdy group contesting that `Casino' is the finer film. I used to belong to the `Casino' club, but after a recent viewing of both films I must conclude that `GoodFellas' is the stronger film in the end. `Casino' is set up similarly yet it doesn't take as long to get into, and I think that's why I was initially on its side. It flows from beginning to end without any low points but it also doesn't have really any major highs. While `GoodFellas' gets off to a slow start, once it gets going it is flawless and its highs are enormously rewarding.
The one facet of `GoodFellas' that is the strongest to me is the incredible performances by the entire cast, especially the four stars. Ray Liotta delivers his finest performance to date as Henry Hill. I am not a huge fan of Liotta, but his portrayal of wiseguy Hill is flawlessly accurate and dedicated. He's matched by Robert De Niro who beautifully settles into supporting territory as Jimmy Conway. It's nice to see a major star like De Niro allow another actor to take the limelight when you know that he could have easily devoured it for himself. The two major standouts here are Joe Pesci and Lorraine Bracco though, two actors who come into their own in this film and deliver heartfelt and moving performances. Pesci plays Tommy, the hotheaded gangster who often lets his anger override better judgment. His performance is so natural and charismatic it feels as though he isn't even acting. Bracco plays Karen, Hill's wife, and she does so with accurate and realistic intensity. As she struggles to wrap her head around her husband's lifestyle, the drugs, money and women, she creates a woman who is understandable and sympathetic.
Scorsese knows how to capture a mood, an era and most importantly, our interest. He has delivered to us monumental classics and `GoodFellas' rests near the top as one of his finest contributions to American cinema. `GoodFellas' is a smart and engaging film about the highs and lows of the gritty way of life, exposing the emotional and physical damage done to those that engage in this lifestyle. If you find the opening scenes hard to get into I urge you to settle down, take a deep breath and wait it out, for once Scorsese hooks you he never lets you go.

5 comments about Buffy the Vampire Slayer - The Complete First Season.
- At first I didn't receive my order so I followed up with customer service and they checked and told me it had been lost in the mail and sent out a second order and it came. I was happy with it, it was in excellent condition. Thank you very much.
- I can sum this up in one word. FUN. Being able to watch back to back Buffy episodes commercial free in movie format makes this a must have for any fan of the series.
- Same as previous 1st season release but instead of folding out to see pictures they put them in small cases for much easier access. This was filmed in 1996 in full before making it to tv in March 1997. Sarah Michelle Gellar got to look over footage and after filming the finale she actually reshot scenes from the first episode with her meeting of Giles to seem less angry, so nice hair changes. The first season feels very fresh and innoncent. Must have. 12 episodes.
- This is definately my fave season of Buffy, its very upbeat and the episodes are so addicting! I look forward to buying season 2!
- The beginning Season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a must have for any fan of the Series. There is a lot of "background" info that lays the foundation for the future seasons. The Season One collection I purchased through Amazon.com came in perfect condition with very little wait for its receipt. I would strongly recommend the entire collection of Buffy DVD's including the spin off series "Angel". I would also recommend purchasing thru Amazon.com.

5 comments about You've Got Mail.
- You've Got Mail is a classic chick flick! A total feel good movie and one that I can watch over and over again!
- I can no longer remember the first time I watched this movie as I've watched it countless times over the passed few years on video and now on DVD.
Kathleen Kelly (Meg Ryan) is the second-generation owner of a small but conventional children's bookstore in Manhattan. When her boyfriend leaves for work, Kathleen skips to the window and watches until she's sure that he won't be returning to retrieve something he may have inadvertently forgotten. Seemingly satisfied that he's on his way to the office, she scampers over to her computer and logs onto an ancient version of AOL where a masculine, computerized voice announces, "You've Got Mail!" She then settles down to read the witty and charming e-mail sent to her by her secret "pen pal"...
The scene then switches to Joe Fox (Tom Hanks) as his voice-over reads Kathleen's e-mail. Joe seats himself at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee as Brinkley, the golden retriever who will eventually be the subject of one of his e-mails to his "pen pal", reclines on the pooch cushion. After Joe watches his manic girlfriend leave for the day, he heads back to his computer and logs onto AOL to see what "Shopgirl" has to say.
Their online relationship is easy-going and enjoyable, and as their communication continues, they both suspect that they may have found their soul mate in each other.
But as it turns out, Joe owns the mega-book conglomerate that is moving just around the corner from Kathleen's quaint little bookstore, a move that eventually costs Kathleen her business. How these two meet and the effect their professional lives has on their relationship are what make this movie a pleasure to watch. The chemistry between Tom and Meg is tangible, and the supporting cast adds to the movie's charm.
After a long work week or a hectic day when I feel the need to watch something "happy", I reach for this DVD and escape into the simple and carefree world of Tom's and Meg's "You've Got Mail".
- There is a background noise while watching the DVD. The picture is perfect but the volume has to be increased to hear over the background noise!
- I admit wholeheartedly that niether my wife nore I like romantic comedies (or any other type of romantic film with the exception of Across The Universe because I am a Beatles fan and found that particular Beatle based Rock opera to be an excellent use of Beatles music, or any romantic comedy written by Steve Martin because his writing is that good) but I can tolerate some level of romantic comedy if I watch with an open mind. This two hour cliche-ridden, (singles living in Manhattan-What an original idea!) wince inducing, pay-to-watch commercial for AOL is a tremendous waste of time and money. If I want to watch badly written commercials, I would watch network televsion and see them for free! I respect all the actors in this film, and I believe Nora Ephron has talent, which I can appreciate despite not being a fan of this genre, but I do not find this to be a feel-good movie, because I don't feel good watching a commercial set in a Romantic Comedy cliche of a location (Can't somebody make one of these things WITHOUT setting it in Manhattan or having any scenes in Manhattan? Are there no other cities in the entire world that romantic comedies can be set it? Only Steve Martin seems to have any concept of setting a romantic comedy anywhere else (L.A. Story)). So if you don't mind sitting through a two hour AOL advertisment with an overly sappy premise and a really "original" location, you may be able to enjoy this. Sadly, I could not.

5 comments about Firm:Total Body Transfirmation System.
- I've been using the Tranfirmation System for a month now and I love it. I'm always a little sore the next day after each workout, but that's just letting me know my muscles are being challenged and are sculpting. My husband says that I'm becoming more curvy, and that's all I need to know that this workout system is working for me! I would recommend this to everyone!
- I am sure this product will be great for me and my family. All three of us were looking frorward to its arrival, less than one week! I slipped and fell, broke 2 ribs and cracked my pelvis, so I guess it will be a while before I can do the workouts--but my grandddaughter (3) loves to bring the weights to me. SHE is getting a great workout :)
- I bought this Total Body Transfirmation System and have been using it for 2 weeks. Love it, especially the Hi-Def Sculpt by Annie Lee. If you get it thru Amazon, you have to order extra weights.
- I think this product is great! Although, as an extremely obese and out of shape person, I don't recommend trying to do any of these videos except Hi-Def sculpt if your obese or overweight, because the other videos are pretty fast paced, I tried doing cardio party, I could only do 15 minutes, and I felt like I was going to pass out after.
I still think this product is worth it though because when I lose more weight, I'll definitely be able to enjoy the other workouts, and I'm really looking forward to that too! I really love the Hi-def sculpt workout, it's slower paced, but still gets me to work up a sweat, and it's not boring to me!
A faster paced video, but not as fast as cardio party that I like is Total Body Toner, it doesn't come with this set, but I like that one too.
The reason that I gave this review a 4 is because this kit only comes with 3lb weights, and two 1lb weights, but the women in the videos are using 5lb weights or more. I'm thinking of buying a set of weights, but probably not the ones that go with this set, making the ones that come with it practically useless to me, or I could pay like $25 at The FIRM's website for like 4 more 1lb weights... I haven't decided yet.
- I just got this the other day and am thrilled with the convenient carrying case. I've only had a chance to do one video - the Body sculpting one - but I really liked that video. I can feel it in my muscles today that I had a good workout. I can't wait to do the Cardio Dance Party tonight!
My only disappointment with it would be with the weights. I like the weights and how they're designed, but they are a bit misleading when they say they can fit up to 8 lbs. That's only for ONE weight. In my workout last night for body sculpting, I wanted to use 5 lb weights. I found I couldn't do it because it doesn't come with enough weight disks. Had to go with only 3 pounds - the max you can put on there for 2 weights that comes with the kit. Bummer.

5 comments about The Day the Earth Stood Still.
- It may be dated but I still found the film very watchable. Early SFI films have a nostalgic atmosphere all of their own.
- I couldn't agree or add much more with the positive reviews already posted here. I first saw this film in the 60's on "Saturday Night at the Movies". The film was introduced by the star, Michael Rennie, who spoke to the continued timeliness of the underlying theme of the movie. I now own this particular DVD version of the film and I have to agree with the less favorable reviews of some others give here that focus on the technical failings of this reproduction (not restoration).
Nonetheless the message of this movie is still relevant. I have read that a remake is in production but the focus of Klaatu's concern will be our disregard of the damage being done to our planet in general rather than specifically the nuclear proliferation threat emphasized in the 1951 film. There are also rumors that the film may return to the final twist of the short story "Farewell to the Master" written by Harry Bates.
Let's hope that with a remake coming up the studio will reissue a properly "restored" version of this classic on DVD.
- I find it difficult to believe that individuals continue to find this film a stimulant to simple-minded political critique. One would think, to read some of the reviews here and elsewhere, that we were still in the middle of the Cold War. Klaatu and Gort are, to these poor, befuddled souls, archetypes of the Evil Empire, intent on subjugating the people of earth into a huddled, quivering mass of terrified obedience. I wonder if they bothered to listen to the dialogue...
The quality of the restoration is not bad at all. The sound track, in particular, sounds quite good. While one can detect some video artifacts, they should only bother those folk who watch TV screens primarily to detect moires and jaggies. For the rest of us, the appearance is quite good enough, thank you.
The plot is laden with the usual improbabilities. Persons who cannot deal with such probably ought not view science fiction. Only Patricia Neal's obligatory screaming seemed to me contrived and facile. Otherwise, the writers simply did what writers must do to make a complex story fit within the time frames of American movie-making.
When all the carping and griping is done, this remains THE film by which science fiction of its period will be judged. It ranks among the very best sci-fi films of all time; a position that it amply earns.
- This is an excellent film. However, despite the important message it delivers at the end, I am of the opinion, that films in any age should be used for the sole purpose of entertainment and not for the delivery of political messages. Morality plays are a different issue and I can see where they may fit into film making. Otherwise, I highly recommend this film because it is extremely well acted, well directed and well written; and most importantly, very entertaining.
- Earlier today an unidentified flying object landed at our nations capital. Apparently an alien who looks just like us emerged from the ship speaking perfect English and uttered the slogan that he comes in peace. Of course, like any wise American we shot him instantly while offering our own, to quote House of Pain, slogan, eat you up like some butter cups from Reeses I come in peace but you'll leave in pieces.
Following this at exactly noon time today we lost power for 30 minutes. Do you realize that for thirty minutes we were unable to launch nuclear weapons and missiles. I don't know if America is prepared for the devastation of not being able to launch missiles could cause. For those 30 terrifying minutes our cars could not pollute the environment. The radio and television newscasters could not promote fear and panic. IT WAS TERRIBLE!
Hey Mike, What was that great invention.
Oh, basically the cure for stupidity.
Uh, ok. Anyway, what time is American Idol on tonight?
Sigh.
In all seriousness this is one of the greatest science fiction films I've ever seen. It's premise is like when Rudy Huxtable on the The Cosby Show - Season 1 tells her little fairy tale about war and ends it by saying STOP, with a lot more science involved but unfortunately as much fiction.
The film is also rated G. Kids got to see some real movies back then with meaning. Even Creature From the Black Lagoon was rated G. I'd take these two over Hannah Montana.
Directed by the versatile four time Oscar winner Robert Wise who also directed The Haunting and West Side Story (Special Edition DVD Collector's Set) to name just a couple.
DVD FEATURES:
The Picture looked pristine in black and white. The negative review on here had to be for another version or something was wrong with that persons television. Also sounded great and was THX certified.

- A great classic movie! Cary Grant and Grace Kelly make a great romantic combination and when coupled with Alfred Hitchcock what could be better? See if you can find Hitchcock in a cameo in this movie. He always inserts himself somewhere in his movies, sometimes more obvious than others. This is definitely a "Must Have" for those Cary Grant collectors!!! And the Collector's Edition has some nice Extra Features.

5 comments about Blue Velvet (Special Edition).
- This movie is amazing! I've seen it before but wanted to own it. It was supposed to come with a collectible booklet, but the case was empty except for the disc. :o(
- Twin Peaks - The Definitive Gold Box Edition (The Complete Series)Mulholland DriveAmerican Beauty (Widescreen Edition)
When you watch the opening scene of the 1986 classic Blue Velvet, you know your in for something special, a completely original experience. The scene is that of an outwardly idyllic American town, a small white house with requisite garden and white picket fence, and a middle-aged man serenely watering his lawn. The man has a sudden stroke and falls to the ground. The camera moves in close on the man, then to the grass beneath him, then beneath the grass to the sight and sounds of black beetles gnawing and clawing their way through the earth. It's the movie's plot in microcosm. Like many another film, "Blue Velvet" explores the notion that life is not all that it appears. Under a veneer of respectability and innocence, evil lurks in the most seemingly harmless places. Just below the placid surface of every community lies the face of horror and evil.
For newcomers, here's a brief outline of the plot. All-American boy Kyle MacLachlan, fresh from Lynch's "Dune," stars as All-American boy Jeffrey Beaumont, a college student in the suburban setting of Lumberton, U.S.A., who, while walking across an open field one day, comes upon a severed human ear. He takes it to the police, specifically to a neighbor, Detective Williams (George Dickerson). The Detective promises to investigate, but it's Williams' daughter, Sandy (Laura Dern), who precipitates the intrigue. Sandy meets Jeffrey and suggests she has information about the unexplainable ear. The information leads to night-club singer Dorothy Vallens. Both Jeffrey and Sandy devise a plan to sneak into Dorothy's apartment and snoop. This goes awry, and Jeffrey cannot turn away from what witnesses in her apartment...
MacLachlan is in virtually every scene, and at times he seems wooden, but this is the character he's trying to convey. Slightly niave and wooden. We may question his character's actions, but we never doubt his integrity. He's an innocent lost in a corrupt world (well, we all are, really), and as we might expect, even he is infected by the corruption. But is he an honest seeker of truth, an obsessed intruder, or an outright voyeur? Sometimes he seems to derive more satisfaction from his observations than terror or pain...but later in the film, he breaks down and we know he's actions are good intentions. He really wants to save Dorothy from what he sees her go through. Dennis Hopper gives an amazing performance, it's a little worrying he's so accurate.
If your not a Lynch fan, you'll still enjoy Blue Velvet. Many attack (those that want their stories told in a tiresomly straightforward manner) for being confusing, weird and refusing to give explicit plot outlines. Lost Highway and Eraserhead are probably examples on why they have not become as well-known and as popular Blue Velvet, because the majority of movie-goers want an occasionally normal plot. Mulholland Dr., on the other hand, is a complete different story. For some reason, people went wild on the film. Perhaps they realized that they enjoyed have complicated stories. I like Lynch film's for different reasons. Blue Velvet remains the movie where all of the elements most exquisitely gel. It works perfectly as a character drama, a thriller, a mystery, a study of voyeurism, a look at the darker side of our own personalities and...hell, so much more. Ultimately, Blue Velvet is that rarest of beasts, a compelling entertainment that is also a brilliant work of art and probably one of the greatest movies ever made.
- What can you say?
All I have to say is that you had better not have any distraction's.
This is one movie that you can or should watch with a quality audio/visual center.
Say what you will, but it works very well with quality involved.
G
- The brutally honest performances, articulate and beautiful style, and the movie's sexual and violent shock value save the story from becoming too stale or uninspiring. Blue Velvet, all these years later, still seems completely original, invigorating and unsurpassed. It wouldn't matter if every film after Blue Velvet in David Lynch's career sucked, because Blue Velvet will always be his masterpiece. The things, along with Twin Peaks, will remember him for.
Everyone assumes that Blue Velvet opens with the infamous ear-in-the-grass scene, but the film's opening is even more disturbing than that. A suburban fantasia of white picket fences, blood-red roses, waving fireman, happy children and a man watering his lawn gives way to the disturbing moment when the watering man collapses and the camera pans down to dirt level where a number of horrific insects are scrabbling in the dirt at the base of the lawn. The soundtrack changes from Leave It to Beaver-style music to the loud, gnawing, electric saw-like noises emitted by the creatures. Only subsequent to this scene does Jeffrey Beaumont (a wide-eyed, snoopy Kyle MacLachlan) find the ear in a field of overgrown weeds.
The ear leads Jeffrey through a sordid underworld involving kidnapping, masochism, drug-dealing, and murder. But while there's a whole lot of plot in Blue Velvet, Lynch's more elemental concern is with unearthing the truth behind the façade (i.e. showing what lurks under the lawn). Even the blue velvet dress that chanteuse Dorothy Valens (Isabella Rossellini) wears hides a secret -- namely, the bruises on her body which are delivered by the vile Frank Booth (Dennis Hopper, in the role that brought him back to the limelight).
When Jeffrey asks the niave Sandy (Laura Dern), the prim girl on whom he has a crush, why there is so much trouble in the world, the answer is clear -- without it, our lives would be far duller. Jeffrey himself admits that he loves a mystery and the curiosity that his desire entails is the same one that fuels Lynch's own vision. When Frank says to Jeffrey, "You're like me," it could be Lynch speaking to the audience. We want to know more, even if what we find out hurts or is ugly. Like the scene of an accident, we cannot look away. Fueled by a vibrant and always-surprising surrealism, Blue Velvet reminds us that the dreams and fantasies of our subconscious are dangerous and thrilling; it's surface reality that is mundane.
This is definitely a film worth watching multiple times. It gets better and better on every viewing. There are so many questions, and at the same time, so many answers, which seem to bring up more questions. Blue Velvet is a timeless, unmissible film.
- Blue Velvet is my favorite David Lynch film, and one of my favorite films of all time. In many ways it's a disturbing film, but not so much because of the violence (compared to today's standards), but because of the characters and the darkness of the human condition that they expose. It's worth watching Dennis Hopper channel Frank Booth, the sociopathic drug dealer who pretty much owns the film. Also great are Dean Stockwell, Isabella Roselinni, Kyle McLaughlin, and Laura Dern, all great actors and actresses who make the film the classic that it is. A must for film students.

- A classic must have movie from an era where entertainment was based on fun not violence or special effects.
- Cary Grant is cast as the commander of the Sea Tiger, a sub held together by a lick and a promise. Tony Curtis is cast as Lt Nick Holden. He was assigned sea duty as a punishment, and is very outside of his element. Since the country is at war, supplies are very scarce, and Holden discovers that he does have a talent in being a thief. If they can't get a requisition filled, Mr. Holden can find it. This crew has one catastrophe after another, and then they get stuck with team of nurses that are stranded. This is a hilarious movie that will make you laugh out loud. The cast is superb, and not just the talent of Grant and Curtis, but all the supporting players.
- ESSENTIAL MOVIE!!! Though some may disagree that this film is essential I've found it to be one of the most entertaining movies that I've ever seen. Cary Grant was a very versatile actor able to do comedy & drama equally well. His co-star, Tony Curtis was versatile also though he never received the same respect as many of his peers. I've always felt that comedy was the strength of Tony Curtis, most of the films that I enjoy with Curtis fall into comedy. Tony Curtis was also the king of teaming-up with other actors. Curtis normally got second billing in these cases, don't know if teaming up so often with other actors was his choice or the studio. But he had teamed with the likes of Cary Grant (as here), Burt Lancaster (more than once), Kirk Douglas & Frank Sinatra just to name a few. About the only time Curtis got top billing in his pairings were his movies with Jack Lemmon which were also hilarious.
Operation Petticoat is a WWII comedy that involves the submarine Sea Tiger. Curtis in his role isn't really a war zone officer, he's been sitting it out in the rear echelon doing jobs that aren't directly related to the war. It's his misfortune that he's stuck in a place where combat is an everyday occurrence. He volunteers to join the Sea Tiger, his reason, to get back to an area where his talents can do him more good. He ends up being the supply officer because his scavenging skills & initiative are without equal. Many funny situations occur in this movie including where Curtis steals a pig & transports it back to the submarine. Grant, in his role, is somewhat tolerant but doesn't really want all the facts. He just wants to get the Sea Tiger fully shipshape & into the war. The most famous scene in the movie occurs when, due to the lack of gray paint, red & white paint are mixed creating a very brilliant hue of pink with which they paint the submarine.
There's more to the movie but do yourself a favor & get this; it's entertaining from beginning to end.
- Hilarious movie. A must own for Cary Grant fans. Great humor for those in similar predicaments. Or those with family in those situations. A great laugh to take the edge off. This show has the only pink submarine I've ever seen, which is all part of its humor a one of a kind show.
- I love this movie. I have been looking for it for quite awhile. It arrived promptly and in good condition, played beautifully.
