- Interesting book. It has ads from the early 544 Volvos right up to the 850's. It's interesting to see how much ahead of the times they were with safety innovations. When you read page after page of how Volvo engineers designed and built the car with the occupants' safety in mind, you become impressed. When you read about some of the incredible collisions that the owners were able to walk away from, it makes you wonder why you'd want to drive anything else. A very enjoyable book for the "Volvophile".

From the beginning of the 20th century to the almost-present, this book offers an interesting historical look at buses built by the famed automotive company. There's a nice array of exterior and interior shots - some of very unusual variety in service all over the world, and restored Volvo buses in various museum-like displays.
Anyone who is interested in buses, or Volvo products in general, should purchase a copy of this illustrated volume.
