1. Even though it is not a golden standard for books (it does not show color pictures or hard covers,but instead simple paperback pages and b&W photos), it might by termed an excellent reference for all who are involved in major car restoration or model building projects, since it presents reprinted articles of contemporary magazines, with road impressions, specifications and performance figures fully illustraded. It is a good history reading for all who are not in the hobby, nevertheless, as it show us typical thinking in the mid 60's.

1. Greetings,
   I have a 2002 Dodge Van. So few of the details listed in the manual
   actually match the vehicle that I found it almost useless. While Hayes
   makes a fine book, they try to blend so many vehicles that the details
   that you need in order to work on a specific vehicle are not there.
   In the past I have had many of the "Chilton's Manuals" for individual
   vehicles and been please with them. I thought their decendants, the
   "haynes Manuals" would be the same. Unfortunatly they are not.

1. This book is not half bad when it comes to car repair for my dodge colt. It goes into detail on how to fix many problems you could run into with your car. It has plenty of pictures to help you with what you are doing. If you have to do some work on your vehicle, I suggest you get a chiltons manual.



2. You will not believe the endless frustration this manual has caused me. I'm online to order the Mitsubishi Mirage manual by Haynes instead. This manual is a very poor effort by Chiltons. Do not expect to be able to diagnose any problem with this manual.

1. A great book on the history of one of America's most legendary carmakers. It has just enough history on John and Horace Dodge and their early beginings. It also goes into good detail about the later years after the company was acquired by Walter Chrysler. This is a must read for the avid automotive buff, especially for Dodge, Chrysler and Mopar fans.



2. These "crestline" series of books by "motorbooks international" offer a comprehensive look through the years.This book is no exception.
   
   From pre Dodge onto 1914 right through to 1975 this book shows every truck,bus and car model of every year.All photos are good size and in b&w.An interesting look back at Dodge history.
