- The author does it again! This time he captures 50 of the best sportscars with purpose made photography, done especially for the book, and writes simple but very informative text so everyone can relive the best of the best.
Bravo!
- This book is a beautiful. You do not have to be a car enthusiast to enjoy this book, where art and beauty come together in a well-detailed book. An excellent edition to any coffee table collection.
- This is a great book of historical sports cars, with lots of information and beautiful pictures. This is a neat reference and a great coffee table book, very informative and very very classy too! I really recommend this for a car person, of just someone who loves the history or simply the art of beautiful cars.

4 comments about How to Build the Ultimate American V-Twin Motorcycle: Build a Bike That Is Really Your Own.
- THIS BOOK WAS VERY BORING! AND RELLY DIDEN'T COVER HOW TO ACTULY BULID A BIKE. TIM REMUS JUST RAMBLES ON ABOUT CERTIN PARTS OF A BIKE AND WHAT THEY DO.AND HOW YOU PICK PARTS FOR YOUR BIKE. IT DID HAVE SOME INTRESTING TIPS BUT NOTHING SPECIAL ENOUGH TO EVEN TALK ABOUT (I;LL JUST LEAVE IT AT THAT) I RECOMMEND LOOKING AT IT AT THE BOOK STORE THEN PUTTING IT BACK ON THE SHELF.
- This book was very boring!!! Tim Remus just rambles on about diffrent parts of bikes and what to look for. if your looking to build a bike form top to bottom this ain't the book. unless your paper training that new puppy he/she will injoy the read.
- I actually liked this book. If you have in mind building your own motorcycle and have never done it before, this book lets you know what you are going to have to think about. It's not going to tell you exactly everything you are going to do step by step because every custom bike is different. But it does put in order the things you need to do once you decide what you want.
Maybe the other reviewers didn't realize that they would have to come up with their own ideas about what they wanted to end up with. This book is not about building a particular motorcycle, it is about building YOUR dream motorcycle, whatever style that may be. I recommend this book to anyone who is considering building a motorcycle, who hasn't done it before and who has a pretty good idea of what they want to end up with. It will help you get your stuff together.
- The title to this book can be verry misleading, chances are anyone with enough ambition to build a motorcycle, already knows the basics that this book covers, if you are looking for power hungry tech info, this book will let you down for sure. This book would however make a great part one of a two part book, C'mon Timothy Remus, where's part two?

5 comments about Ford Y Block.
- For those who collect cars or are just fans of the 1950s cars this is a great book with a wealth of information. Detailed about the Ford Y Block engine that Ford produced for passenger cars 1954-1958 and trucks through 1964. Good pictures and plenty of how-to illustrations.
- This book is a great resource that provides a terrific history and can help identify the various Y-block versions and years and provides some help with interchangeability of parts. It would have been nice to have more detail, but the book is very well worth the price. I haven't tried following the step by step rebuilding instructions yet, but it appears to be very well written and thorough.
- For $12.69 I got my monies worth, but the pictures are terrible. A couple are almost entirely BLACK. Certainly this can't be a first run printing.
- I was very excited to see this book was finally reprinted. When it arrived my excitement turned to disappointment. The photos and illustrations are terrible. It looks like it was copied by a child on a cheap copy machine. At around $13 dollars, I guess that's about the best quality you can expect.
- this entire book looks like a photocopy. The pictures are so black you can't even make some of them out, let alone see any detail. I have several other books published by MBI, and they are all first class. I can't believe they would release something of such poor quality. If it wasn't for the good history brief of where this engine design fits into the chronology of Ford V8 engine development, and the high quality technical information (I think it is the only book around on the Y-block) contained in this book, I would have given it only one star.

5 comments about Los Cuatro Acuerdos.
- Primer acuerdo: "Sé impecable con tus palabras".
Segundo: "No te tomes nada personalmente".
Tercero: "No hagas suposiciones".
Segundo: "No te tomes nada personalmente". Tercero: "No hagas suposiciones".
- Every human being should read this book. It not only takes us on a journey to understand how we feel but also helps you in understanding, accepting and appreciating others. Written in a simple language that makes it very easy to comprehend and absorb. Don Miguel Ruiz has a way with words that captivate you. Once you start reading, you cannot stop. This book was recommended to me by a friend, and the timing was perfect!
- This is one of dozens of self-help books that advocate changing your thoughts can change your life. Ruiz' gimmick is that these "agreements" came from ancient Toltec wisdom. I bought it for a self-help type class I was taking. The English version looked so easy I decided to make myself read it in Spanish. It turned out to be the easiest Spanish book I ever read. It was also very redundant. I enjoyed reading it and practicing my Spanish, but I think the four agreements could be summed up in about four to eight pages.
- No le doy cinco estrellas por que en ocasiones me pareció un poco lento ... aunque definitivamente vale la pena escucharlo.
- Its impossible to make a reviesw on an item that I never received...aaah!! you never gave me a credit for it

2 comments about Clymer Kawasaki Concours 1986-2004.
- The Clymer manual is a good general purpose repair manual and provides sufficient photos and technical information essential for the shade tree mechanic to do the majority of repairs himself. I purchased an "on-line" manual for the Concours prior to purchasing the Clymer and the Clymer was much more informative and illustrative.
- Like most Clymer products, this lacks a usable table of contents -- there are no page numbers within the major topics. Thus if you want to look up, say, adjusting the valves, you have to flip through pages to find it, because the contents lists that it's within a major topic (routine maintenance) and what order it's in there, but no page number.
Also like most Clymer products, Clymer has a bizarre ritual of putting all torque values into a table at the end of the section. If you are reading along in adjusting valves, and you need to know how much torque to apply to the valve cover, Clymer doesn't tell you -- they simply say "torque the valve cover" and make you flip to the back of the section to see what to torque it to.
And the section on spark plugs and what the color says about the fuel-air mixture is bizarre. The pictures are black and white, making it appear that spark plugs are supposed to be grey. Uhm, no, they should be tan. Somebody cheaped out on the color photography and made this section utterly useless.
That said, despite these quirks, it is a usable and valuable reference and I do not work on my bike without it. In particular, the color circuit diagrams at the end of the text are far better than anything in the factory manual. And they even have a few tidbits of info not in the factory manual (not much, though -- they're basically the same info, re-organized into Clymer format). It's just irritating at times to run into the familiar Clymer flaws mentioned above... flaws that should have been fixed years ago.

1 comments about MG T Series Restoration Guide (Brooklands Books).
- I thought that this is a good all round book for someone interested in purchasing and fixing up a T series MG. It's seems more down to earth than "TC's Forever", ( the $200 Bible if you want a prize winning restoration of a TC) and its seems to be written with a more "American" point of view than some other books.
I appreciated the drawing of the firewall with an explanation of the routing of the wires, etc.
I don't think that you will ever regret buying this book.

3 comments about Clymer Honda 50-110Cc Ohc Singles, 1965-1999.
- Nice book overall. Has lots of pictures of assemblies to make it easier to disassemble and reassemble the parts.
Nice set of specifications for the little tiddler bikes.
- Got this for a 1971 Honda CT70. Clymer does a fairly decent job of covering so many different model years/models in a single book.
This broad coverage makes it sort of inconvenient to find the exact section that covers my bike, but this is probably the reason it is still in publication.
I've only used it to help fix a shifting problem and change the oil so far. The troubleshooting gave pointed to the geneneral areas to look, but it was some phone advice from an avid collector and self discovery that fixed the problem.
It seems to cover 4 or 5 different "Types" of clutch designs but does not list my bike as one of the types making it slightly confusing, but the other models were similar enough to be of help.
Great deal if you own multiple models/years of bikes covered by this book.
- This is one of the essential reference books if you are working on Honda 50 or 70s. It will pay for itself in a matter of minutes when working on an engine.
