1. I PURCHASED THIS PRODUCT SO I COULD TAPE MY GRANDSON'S FOOTBALL GAMES. ONE BATTERY LASTED ONE GAME AND WOULD NOT EVEN HINT OF CHARGING. THE OTHER IS FINE AND I USE IT WHEN I CANNOT GET AC POWER. I E-MAILED THE COMPANY AND DID NOT GET ANY RESPONCE. THESE PRODUCTS HAVE A TWO YEAR GUARANTEE. IT IS ON PAPER, BUT NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS ON.

1. I like this bag. It is at a perfect size for me to put my canon camera and other accessories in. It even has extra space to hold my ID cards and other stuffs while in the wild. I can separate my camera from other accessories to protect it from wearing and tearing.



2. This camera case has a very unyielding opening and every single time I get my camera out of the bag, it takes too much force, and usually my camera's on switch gets snagged and is turned on or off as I'm taking it out or putting it away. Bag is too large for my purposes (I have a Nikon Cool Pix) and the camera isn't secure but flops around once this overly roomy but with not elastic or other straps to hold camera in place. Not very safe in my opinion for the camera. On the plus side, the compartment on the outside was handy for extra memory cards, batteries and even accomodated the charger. I wouldn't get this again, though and will be replacing it in the near future.



3. My Canon PowerShot A630 which I also purchased for Amazon fits perfectly in the bag. Its compartment are handy for easy carrying of extra battries etc. I am pleased with my choice of purchase. I know it will be perfect for me to carry during the Carnival Parade in Jamaica next year.



4. Pay close attention to the dimensions of this thing. It's HUGE!! I can actually fit my camcorder in it. My camera, which is a midsize model (not an slr, and not one of the slim ones the size of a deck of cards, but somewhere in between) fits in the front pocket. Yes, read that again, it fits the front pocket. The main pocket is large enough for a paperback book.
   
   Unfortunately, the min compartment opening is very small. It won't open like a clamshell, it only opens the tippy top, making it very hard to get things in and out. Otherwise it would have been perfect for taking my camcorder and camera in the same bag. Until I get a new bag, I'll just stuff my camera in the front pocket and use the main pocket for, I dunno, carrying my lunch or something.
   
   Get something else.



5. I bought this for my Canon Powershot S5 IS and it is definitely too small. I gave it to my mom and she uses it with her Powershot A640. She seems to like it, especially with all the little pockets to put batteries, memory cards, etc.

1. I've had my flip Video Ultra for over a year. However the RCA caught my attention because of its features and SD card capabilities. I went and bought one at Circuit City for $79.99, got home and shot the same video clips; one with my Flip video Ultra and the other with the RCA Small Wonder "NOT", I play back both of the video clips at the same time and what a huge difference, day and night. My Flip video Ultra definitely has far better video quality. The sound is also far superior on the Flip camcorder. I really do not understand people behind technology, what in the world are they thinking to produce a video camera with more features than the Flip Video but with a far inferior video and sound quality. My guess would be because there are more people out there buying inexpensive camcorders without taking into consideration the video and sound quality.In other word easier to fool with features and not video quality. Anyone with a Flip Video knows the difference. I just Wish the ones making the flip video could come up with an updated model that would have such great features such as memory expansion capabilities and a Flip out display. Flip video should live up to its name and have a flip out LCD for self recording.......unfreaking believable.
   I'll return the RCA Big deception I meant Small Wonder. I'll have to pay 15% restocking fee, I rather do that than to keep something with such poor video quality.
   My advice to anyone: buy the Flip Video Ultra, you won't believe the amazing video and sound quality you'll get from such a small camcorder.



2. I didn't want to lug my old bulky VHS-C camcorder on our Disney trip so I bought a Sony MiniDV HCR-62 and was so disappointed with the picture quality that I returned it. While shopping I saw the RCA Small Wonder and I really don't know why I bought it, I figured it's just a toy and I'll probably be very disappointed with it, sorry I wasted money on it. But, boy, was I wrong. I am extremely happy with it. I still can't get over how amazing this thing is.
   
   Before I start remember- it is not a camcorder. Do not expect it to do what a camcorder does. That being said it takes very good quality video even under low light conditions. And it does it with amazing convenience and versatility.
   
   It's the size of a pack of cigarettes-
   No moving parts-
   A flip screen so you can record yourself-
   Works on easily obtainable AA batteries-
   Playback your video on the screen-
   Play your video on any TV, DVD player or VCR with an audio/video input (cable included)-
   Plug it in to your computer and save and watch your video (connector and software included and built in)-

   I brought my old camcorder to Disney with us but I still took 5 hours of video on the RCA Small Wonder because it was so easy to use and we're very satisfied with the results. I even used it on Test Track with good results. Fireworks displays come out very good with good color. Some camcorders record fireworks as white, the RCA Small Wonder showed the colors with no problem.
   
   When we got home I downloaded all the videos into my computer where I can e-mail them to family or friends if I want with the included software. I also recorded them onto regular VHS tape for regular TV viewing. You could also record onto a DVD if you prefer. The RCA Small wonder is also sold with a special DVD recorder. I didn't know about it before I bought mine. Wish I had know about it before, I would have bought it.
   
   Of course nothing is perfect. The viewfinder/screen is hard to see in bright sunlight. It's easy to accidentally turn it on in your pocket (play mode only, not record mode so it's not a problem really). The digital zoom is grainy and not really useful. Recording time with alkaline batteries was only fair but excellent with Lithium batteries (I got way over 4 hours with Lithium batteries).
   
   If you are recording special events like a new baby you want to use a quality camcorder but if you want to have fun making family memories or need an easy way to create simple video projects for work or school this is the video recorder to use. We love this thing and everyone I show it to is planning on getting one.



3. This product doesn't have a date/time stamp. I thought they all did, so I wasn't even looking for that as I made my decision to purchase. Also, it doesn't pick up audio very well. I have to be within a couple feet of the camera to be heard. It doesn't work well in low light, even when there's still a bit of light out it records blackness.
   
   Other than that, this is an easy camera to use and is the right size to be portable.



4. This is what electronic toys should be. Turn on the power, start taking videos. The batteries even come already inserted (though I'm glad to have Eneloops ready, after only 10 minutes of recording.) Fixed focus, decent exposures in any decent light. Perfect for holding up to the window as you drive along; the wide angle lens means you don't have to aim with precision, and also makes your pix look steady. No software needed, but you do need SP2 with your Windows XP. In 50 years of buying photo toys, nothing else has been so much fun within a minute of sawing open the plastic package.



5. small and do it job, for outdoor is great, good for field trip and cost less, for the price less than $100.00 why not, but not indoor, don't expect get a nice video like outdoor, because you don't have enough light.
