- Make sure you can buy the cartridge refill separately without being forced to buy the paper with it as I was with my G610 easy share camera and dock printer
- this is the worst digital camera I had ever!!! I bought it because my Sony Cibershot 5.2 megapixeles needs AA batteries and they don't last too much, so I decide to buy a new one with li-ion battery. What I say is awful is the picture quality. If you use it with natural light and no zoom it is ok. It works perfect. But if you use zoom or with flash, they are horrible. Look like if you use a cell phone. They look so grainy that it doesn't work for me. This camera may be useful for someone just for fun but not for someone who need to take pictures of maps, figures, close up in nature, etc. Even though the camera style is nice and the battery life is fantastic, it last almost 1 month!!!
- Great little camera that is very easy to use and has excellent picture quality. Good battery life with a large lcd view finder. This camera also offers a multitude of exposure options. Highly recommended.
- I'm not a professional photographer and I don't like cameras with too many features. This camera is easy to use and takes fabulous pictures with the simplest Auto setting. I turned off the flash and left it on the Auto setting all through my Italy visit and came back with the most amazing pictures. The shots impressed professional photographers (not only because Italy itself is picturesque beyond words!). I also got a few one- or two-minute video clips which played beautifully on my computer. The camera is small and thin and fits in my little purse. I dropped it a couple of times and nothing happened to it. I recommend this camera wholeheartedly to all who travel (or not).
- Just bought this camera and took on a trip out of the country. It's nice and small and light, so fits in a pocket easily. Unfortunately, however, it was very tough taking pictures in the outdoors with the camera, as I really couldn't see what was being shown in the LCD screen due to the bright outdoor lighting, and lack of a viewfinder. Total bummer, as a few of my pictures had the key points of interest cropped on the side since I couldn't frame the shot. Picture quality, etc., otherwise was fine.

- I only got to play with this camera for five minutes at Staples, but expect me to place my order soon. For the price, these features are usually unheard of. The camera shot super clear pictures zoomed completely out or completely in. Rapid-fire shooting rate captures clear images, even when moving fast ( I was rotating in circles to test this out, if you've ever been shopping with me I test every camera I buy completely). My only qualm was that it is built like a traditional 35mm camera, meaning that anyone wanting to stash it in their jeans pocket for stealth shooting may be out of luck. But since I work from my car, this will not be a problem. Definitely a good quality camera that will carry me until I can afford an XSi and beyond.
- I have only had the camera for a couple of days and I'm already very pleased with it. Takes wonderful pictures right out of the box in the Auto mode, but there are many different features that I will have to play around with. The 12x zoom is perfect for catching objects from a distance and the Image Stabilizer works wonders. I have tried to shake the camer while taking the picture and it has still came out great.
A few things to know before buying: The camera does not have an electronic viewfinder, so sometimes in direct light(sun)it may be hard to view the LCD screen. It also uses 3 different types of batteries KLIC-8000 (rechargeable Li Ion), CRV3 (Non rechargeable Li Ion), and it also takes 2 AA litium Ion batteries. If you buy the KLIC-8000 battery you have to purchase a separate charger, you cannot charge the battery in the camera. If you are looking for a big zoom camera that will fit in your pocket this is not the camera for you.

- Had this camera for 2 months. I am very happy with this little camera. It takes nice 720p HD videos flawlessly. Like most cameras, better lighted areas = better looking videos. I've taken many pictures set at only 2 MP and videos set at High Quality 720p HD. I have shown the pictures and videos on HDTV LCDs taken from this camera to my friends and they are really amazed. My friends $300 - $400 cameras only do 680x480 videos where as my Kodak camera does 1280x720. I don't have any problems charging my camera via PC or Laptop. The battery life is good, I only charge it once a week.
Overall, I love this Kodak camera, it take nice pictures and HD videos. Going on trips got easier because I do not have to bring my bulky Panasonic 40GB hdd camcorder which only take 640x480 videos.
- This camera does not come with a charger! I find that absolutely unbelievable! How can you sell a camera that runs with a rechargeable battery and you find out once you receive the camera that you have to buy it seperately?
I am absolutely amazed ... so beware! It doesn't even say on the packet ... I had to look at the instruction manual and it states, sold seperately.
Hasn't anyone else had this problem?
- Excellent camera, compact but it has all the features i was looking in a digital camera.
- This camera is really easy to use, great for beginning photographers. It's also pretty small and lightweight. Not the smallest I've seen, but it's definitely up there. The picture quality is excellent, not grainy or anything. Keep in mind that I am a novice, so I don't know any really detailed specifics, but what I do know, I definitely like!
Overall, I feel that the Kodak Easyshare V1233 12.1MP Digital Camera is the perfect trade-off between price and quality. It's definitely the cheapest you'll find for a camera with so many megapixels!
- The pictures are clear and the video in HD are on the money, highly recommend this cam to anyone looking for a easy to use and not to expensive camera. Kodak got down a little bit on this HD camera!

- This camera was bought as an upgrade replacement for my older EasyShare camera. Do not regret this purchase. What a great camera. Easy to use. Beautiful photos and it can take movies with sound as well (which can be downloaded to your Kodak Gallery to be saved). Only warning is that the dock adapter offered on Amazon (as well as other sites) is NOT compatible. You must purchase a new dock specifically made for this model. I purchased the adapter thinking I could save by using my old dock, only to have to return the adapter and buy a new dock. Guess I did not save any $$. Very happy with this camera. Amazon delivered quickly as usual and refunded my dock adapter purchase quickly. Thanks Amazon!
- I love this camera so must that this is the second one I bought for my dad for father's day. It is very easy to use and take wonderful pictures right out of the box. The price makes it affortable for anyone and the soft wear is wonderful. You can do so much with your pictures for free with most of the soft wear and easy to use. You can upload and share big picture files that they can use for free to see and down load. I tell everyone about this camera and that Amazon has the cheapest price.
- I have had this camera for six months and have been very disappointed. Almost every picture has red eye, some are grainy and the flash is useless. I have missed many important pictures because this camera does not work well inside. If you are taking pictures outside in bright sunlight it is excellent. If you are taking pictures of your children moving outside it is great. Sadly any picture taken indoor is not good.
- I love this camera. The picture quality is great, the video is amazing, I attempted to make a video of this review but after reviewing it, I decided that typing is what I am better at.
I went to Sea World San Diego this past Saturday and tokk 97 pictures and even some video. I am still finding out the amazing things this camera can do.
BEST INVESTMENT I HAVE EVER MADE!!!!!!!
- I gave this as a birthday gift to my husband and he really liked it a lot. It wqorks the way he wants to and is small and portable.

- I just ordered this camera, and so far its perfect for me. I'm not an avid photographer, I just wanted a cheaper, decent camera that was small enough to keep in my purse. I really like how it comes with a recharable battery instead of needing double A's all the time like cameras I've owned in the past.
To me, the look of the camera is a little goofy and unfortunately, the booklet it came with is not helpful at all, but other than that, its great!
- The camera is compact, fairly light and easy to use, and takes high quality photos. I think the camera is a good value. Negatives: doesn't dock to an older Easy Share version I had; the software takes longer to start than older version; I miss having a viewfinder, this camera just has a view screen; battery cover slips open fairly easily if you hold it with a pincer grip; camera body fairly slippery, could use some coarse grip surfaces. Overall satisfied, but things I would change, and wish I had considered beforehand.
- I bought this camera on sale at Target for $100 and glad I did! This camera is basic, works fine, takes good pictures, and thats about it. I would compare the quality of picture to more of an 7megapixel, not 10. I've taken better looking pictures with an 8megapixel Olympus ($150) camera. The video is bad. Very low resolution that cant be raised and there is purple tint and vertical lines while recording. I'd recommend this camera for the low price of $100 or less, and to first time buyers. But if you got the money, definitely spring for a better camera with more features. Canon camera's seem to be what everyone recommends. Casio has great features.
- I had purchased the V803 back in march of 07 and was super happy with it. just the fact that it comes in purple was awesome enough for me. the actually picture taking was super clear and crispy. all the features are super easy to use.
but then my friend dropped it and all the pictures that were taken after that were blurry. so i ended up needing another one. so i purchased the V1003 Which i might add is the one i originally wanted back then anyway. But i got it. and it works exactly the same, has super crispy pictures, very easy navigation. i absolutely love the camera.
i even bought one for my mom for mother's day b/c she kept griping about mine, so i finally got her one. she always had crappy cameras in the past and i believed she deserved it. she's beed using it non stop and has had no bad experiences yet.
i would highly recommend this camera to anyone who wants a digital camera, its a great product and im VERY happy with it. i would just suggest not dropping it. :)

- This is my first camera. It so happens that my daughters friend had a Kodak and I really enjoyed it, enough to purchase my own. I haven't had a chance to "use" it. Already it seems to meet my requirements and expectations. I don't need but basics but it has the bells and whistles too. Good price as well.
- This is the second Kodak EasyShare V803 8MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom (Silver Argent) I've bought within the last 12 months. The first was a birthday gift for my 18 yr old daughter. About 2 months later she called to tell me the viewscreen had stopped working. We thought she may have bumped it so I bought a replacement. Less than 2 months later the new camera had the same problem. I contacted Kodak who said it may be a design flaw but I'd have to pay $90 for it to be repaired.
After over 30 yrs of owning only Kodak cameras, spending over $200 for 2 practically useless cameras in the same year, and being told I'd have to pay for what may be a design flaw.....I spent the $90 on a new Sony Cyber Shot. I don't plan to buy from Kodak anymore. I also share my experience with friends to save them from making the same costly error.
- Kodak EasyShare V803 8MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom (Pink Rose)
I purchased this camera a few months ago and I was very disappointed with the quality of the pictures from day one. They tend to be very grainy. You can take the same picture twice and it's just hit or miss but no predictability. I only had the camera for four months and I went out and the LCD screen broke. I didn't drop it, it was possibly just sitting in my purse the wrong way. It is extremely delicate and it costs an arm and leg to get the LCD screen replaced. I suggest to you all avoid this and kodaks in general. If you look online you'll see this is a common problem.
- My wife and I have used this camera for about two years now. It is the easiest camera to operate that we have ever owned and takes great photos. Prior to purchasing this Kodak model, we had spent quite a bit more on an Olympus camera. I don't even know where we put it because we never use it anymore. I use to let my wife take all the pictures because mine always turned out blurry. This Kodak model has an image stablization feature that let's me take pictures that are in focus about 99 percent of the time. We just returned from a vacation to Sedona and took almost 400 pictures and only two were out of focus. The clarity of the photos and the ease of use makes this a great little camera. Many of our friends have raved about the quality of our photos. As I said earlier, we have had this camera for two years and have not had any problems with it. I would recommend this camera to anyone who thinks that they will never be able to take good photos.
- This camera is all I hoped for!! It's great!!!! Oh and the company was is terrific too.

- I really like this camera! You need to become familiar with the different settings to get good pictures. I lost most of the first batch I took. The next day I started looking at the settings and everything was fine. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to take decent pictures but maybe is not a serious photographer.
- This camera is good for the money. One issue I have is the speed at which it stores the image once the shutter button has been pushed. I have an older Olympus camera that is quicker. At first I thought it was the SIM card that I bought but it even stores slowly to the internal memory. The work-around is that you can push the shutter button a second time to be ready for another picture while the original image is being stored. All-in-all this camera works for my purposes. Business.
- This product is ok....I will say that Amazon is thorough and gives great customer service...The camera came in a timely manner.
- I knew nothing about digital cameras when I bought this and it was really easy to learn how to use. The image is clear and the color good. there are many uses for this camera and I would recommend this to anyone. Actually I liked mine so well that I recently purchased one for boyfriend for his birthday.
- This was a good upgrade from my last digital camera. It has/will serve its purpose.

- Took camera to the top of Mt. Rainier, took 360 pictures in freezing cold temperature on one battery charge....never had to use my spare. Pictures turned out great!
- we bought this as a gift for our son and daughter inlaw they are having thier first child they love it / my wife feel inlove with it going to buy another one soon / simple to use and photo are great. we are a Kodak family, other then my 35mm all our cameras are Kodak name
- I previously owned a Kodak EasyShare DX6340 and it was a great camera. I decided to purchase their new V1273 and found it almost useless. The problem is in their display screen. It is impossible to see even on cloudy days and there is no view finder to use under those conditions. Therefore your left guessing as to how to frame your picture. I wrote Kodak about the problem and they said all digital cameras have this problem. That is not true. While on a resent trip someone showed me there Sony digital camera and the display was clearly visible in bright sunshine. I contacted Kodak again about the problem and they said "sorry your beyond the 30 day guarantee". So now I'm stuck with a useless camera not to mention the accessories I bought with it. I will never buy a Kodak product again.
- This is a great camera for the money. My favorite features are the HD photos which are crystal clear and widescreen, the fast focus from this point and click, and the ease of managing all the photos. The size and view screen are great too. The only downfalls are the HD video which looks subpar and the flash could be a little less bright at close range. Other than that I would recommend this camera to anyone who wants to spend around $200.00.
- I have the 8MP, 10MP and 12MP variety of this camera. The ONLY function for which this camera is superior is Video. In all other areas, it is an inferior camera.
The MAIN downfall to this camera is the ports and lack of an AC Charger. You're supposed to charge it with a USB cable, not an AC charger, yet the camera has an AC charger port and NO USB Port! So, you have to carry around the proprietary Kodak cable and charge it via a computer. I personally don't wish to use the Easyshare connection, and prefer to just take the SD card out and plop it my their computer or card-reader. So, I'd prefer to have a charger (which you can buy separately for like $40.)
I work for a community media organization where we all have cameras like this, and I can attest that the video (especially the audio that accompanies the video) on this camera is superior to any camera I've seen (besides camcorders). Also, they don't promote it, but the 3-picture panorama feature on the Kodak EasyShare's is uniquely easy and incredible and makes for some of the most simple and unique pictures I've seen (it automatically stiches 2 or 3 pictures together in a seamless panorama/wide-screen shot that looks cinematic and beautiful).
All in all, I'd say this camera is only the right choice for you if you plan to use it for a lot of video blogging. For stills, the other versions with a charger and separate USB port are a better choice. and 8-10MP is more than enough. Unless you're wasting paper and $ by printing everything, You shrink down every picture before sharing it or posting it anyway.

- Superior pictures. Auto focus is amazing. An excellant easy to use almost intuitive camera for an average user like myself.
- I bougth this camera twice. but both of them broke somehow within two weeks even though I was carefully using them. I recomend not to buy this camera. You will waste your money. Personaly, I would not never want to buy a camera from Kodak.
- This camera is a nice choice, it was fairly cheep and still able to do everything I want it to. All around good purchase
- perfect for my uses--artsy college student type photography. great options, really neat panorama capabilities. incredible price. only bad thing is, it doesn't come with card or case. no biggie.
- This camera was a replacement for an older Kodak Easyshare C330 (which was a great camera and just didn't have enough mega pixels for me). It's a great camera with bright colors, almost no lag between taking pictures, and I love the fact that it runs on a rechargeable battery instead of AAs. There are a few flaws: a very slow delete time (about 4 seconds); every once in a while, a single picture gets corrupted and when reviewing pictures, I get the error message "invalid format." There are a few other things that I can't remember, but nothing major. I pretty much love this camera and am glad I went with another Easyshare (ironic: I don't even use the easyshare function. Haha).
