2 comments about Fujifilm Auto 10 35mm Camera.
- This is a totally different camera than the one described under specifications. The Auto10 comes with batteries (2-AA) and a 12 exposure roll of 400 speed Fuji film. It also comes with a soft case, strap and a $5 rebate from Fuji. There is no autofocus, it focuses from 1.5 METERS to infinity (not 1.5 FEET as stated in product specs), there is no self timer. The red-eye reduction flash works well, the large viewfinder is nice, and the owner's manual is concise, but many of the other features such as the lens cover, motor and frame numbers are chintzy, poorly designed. Had the published specs been accurate, I would have known to purchase a different model. The quality of the photos taken with this camera was just average.
- Yeah, I bought one...
I bought a cheap camera, and that is what I got...A cheap camera that took pictures while I was on vacation. Stop complaining man!

- My daughter has wanted a camera since she was 2 years old. I bought her this camera (the pink flower edition) just before she turned 3. She loves it. The size is great for little hands. For the most part I don't need to adjust her fingers to keep them away from the lens.
She also has a Chicco Smile Camera. That was is very easy to use, and slightly cheaper since it uses regular 35mm film. However, given a choice she'll go for the Nexia every time. I know she's drawn to the design, but I think she likes the size of it too. If you have your own little budding photographer let them give this camera a try. I don't think you'll go wrong.
- I like APX cameras and this one is so cute and portable. It takes great pictures and is easy to use!

- Before it died, this was an acceptible camera. Unfortunately the automatic lens features fell apart and Fuji refuses to fix it without a store receipt AND the warranty card. It's unreasonable to refuse to fix obvious manufacturing defects.
In particular, the automatic lens cover doors no longer function, and the lens will not zoom. Since the lens cover won't open, the camera's as good as dead. I'm thoroughly unhappy with Fuji's customer service, and this camera is to be avoided.
- I have this camera and have been using it for almost a yr. It takes great pictures. I've taken pictures of my kids at the amusement parks going around on a ride and it got a clear picture of a moving subject. It even does pretty good for night pictures too which I was amazed with. Overall it's a great camera. I like the easy loading of this cmaera too.
- I'm really sorry that the above people had these problems, but these may be just one or two bad apples out of a good crop. And good is certainly a word I'd use to describe the DL290. Straight out of the box you can feel the high quality of the product, unlike some of the cheap and nasty feeling products from other companies. The camera itself is SO easy to use, drop in loading, point and shoot, etc, and has some very advanced features built in too. The picture quality may be sometimes blurred SLIGHTLY, but if you have a steady hand, the outcome is sharp with radiant colours. It has a self timer, and a remote control option for taking pictures too, whilst the range of the Zoom is one of the best for this price catogory. Unfortunatly I lost mine in a party, but Im making my insurance company get me the exact same camera, even though I can get a more expensive camera by another company. My last one served me very well, and its stunning quality mixed with easy of use has convinced me to get another just like it. For the price, you really cannot go wrong.
- Camera is easy to load and takes good pictures at first. However the gears that open the lens cover and zoom in and out go bad after after 2 to 5 years and the camera can no longer be used. Each of my daughters had this camera and they both went bad. Fuji will not repair this defect and it costs about $150 to fix. Avoid this camera.
- I've used this camera for longer then I can remember, and only discontinued using it because I upgraded to a digital camera. Any problems expressed in other listings may be due to mishandling of the camera. If you take good care of this product it can last for years!

- I gave this product one star because I had to give it some kind of rating to give this review. DON'T BUY THESE CAMERAS!!!! My two pack came and I shot all the film of my daughter and her new baby. These are pictures I cannot replace and the film was either too old or just ruined. Out of two cameras I got not one sinlge picture.
- I used this brand of single use camera recently and the pictures came out fairly well. Oh, sure, the quality of the pictures won't be 100% as good as the pictures you would get from a digital camera or a standard, more expensive 35 mm camera. Actually, the pictures these Fuji cameras take are slightly grainier than the Kodak single use cameras. Sigh.
However, the camera is very lightweight so you can carry several at a time in a bag as you travel. I especially like the built in flash that is easy to use. According to Amazon, the flash range is about 10 feet. I think that's about right.
The camera is a single use camera; this means that after you use it you take the entire camera to the place where you can get film developed; they will take care of the rest. No worrying about whether or not you removed the roll of film negatives correctly without exposing them to too much light. The film speed is 400, so keep that in mind when choosing this camera. A faster speed such as 800 may be preferable.
Overall, this is a good camera for the many, many people who want to travel light or who are on a budget. It is compact and easy to carry; keep one in the glove compartment of your car just in case there's an accident and you need to take pictures of the scene. The camera is also affordable. I give it four stars instead of five simply because the picture quality just isn't the best.
- ..(unless I left the pictures to SIT to long, without developing...for a long while.)
I don't know how long that actually takes but it's kinda long.
If you need more information, the cameras tend to have the expiration date RIGHT ON THEM.
OK, Shelly?
4.5 stars (for two).
4.25 (for the one).
end note: this has two! (Lol)
- I bought these to take on my trip in June to Tennessee, or I intended to. The seller didn't get them to me until I returned. I have taken some pictures with them around the house just to see how they worked and haven't had them developed yet.
- I purchased this 2-pack for a weekend retreat. I wanted an inexpensive camera to see if I wanted to get into landscape photography. These cameras were a good way to test out a new hobby. When I got my pictures back I was surprised at how well they turned out. The photos were very crisp and very clear. A few photos taken in the shadows of trees and shrubs seemed a tad murky, but the pictures taken in the bright sunlight were excellent.
I am taking another day trip to the great Oregon outdoors so I just purchased another 2-pack. This time I will order a CD of my photos. The photos were so good I am thinking of turning them into a calendar.
I highly recommend this camera for outdoor use. It is easy to use, lightweight and takes very good photos. The few pictures I took inside with the flash were okay, but not great.
My only complaint is about the advancement of the film. You have to turn the dial a long time before you hear a loud click that tells you the camera is ready. The instructions on this could have been clearer, but otherwise this camera is a very good choice for children and adults.

- My wife purchased this camera from Focus Camera aka [...]. It was to be a birthday gift from her to me. I was born around the Christmas holiday, so like some smart shoppers, she ordered the camera in late November. Unfortunately she misunderstood what it was I wanted and bought the wrong type of camera (I wanted a SLR). Within 3 weeks of my birthday I contacted Focus Camera about the misunderstanding. After some discussion, they agreed that I could return the camera for credit. Unfortunately they don't have what I want. Bottom line, my wife is out [...] and I have a camera I don't want. NOTE: I assume the camera is a good camera. I never even took it out of the box. My problem issue is with Focus Camera. There was fine print in the returns window at purchase that said she only had 14 days to return item. Be sure to read the fine print before completing your purchases.

- I used this brand of "disposable," single use camera recently and the pictures came out fairly well. - I bought two disposable cameras and used both at an important event (my father's 70th birthday party). The film on one roll had been exposed and all the shots came out too light to be developed. On the other roll, used at the same time in the same venue, all the shots were too dark to be seen.

- I was looking for Wedding Cameras... and then I found this
perfect product. I loved the price and I decide to do my own
personalized paper cover.
- The pictures were a little grainy, but still was able to get great pictures to remember the event.
- This store is great. Fast, fast shipping and great product at a super low price. I searched and never found cameras (no name brands included) that came close to this price. I saved over 50% on this order. Love this store. Cameras are all white and have flash if needed.
- These actually came with a white front plate which was perfect for me. The pictures are good quality. I was worried they might be expired but I still have 12+ months before that date.
- The cameras were great for the kids I taught photography basics. Customer service was great the price was right and shipment timely.

- I used this at the beach with one of my friends during the summer. Taking photos were easy, and with the camera in the case, we were able to take pictures without worrying about the film, not to mention toss the camera around (or chase after it after getting buffeted by the waves- the camera floats)
When developing the photos, they came out slightly blurry (even the ones on the ground) and the colors seemed pale and washed out. While I haven't used film cameras in a while, I'm still positive that the color quality is much higher than what we achieved.
Then again, you get what you pay for- and it's not many digital cameras that you can take into an ocean and walk back out of it with your photos. For the price we paid, we're just glad we still have the memories.
- We purchased these for our gift bags for a wedding because we were going on a Caribbean Cruise. Everyone loved them.
- Easy to use, good clear pictures, results better than expected. We used them snorkling in Grand Cayman where the water was very clear. We took pictures at depths between the surface and 15 feet. The best pictures were taken when the sun was shining as it made it brighter under water. I was surprised how well the pictures came out even when pictures were taken when it was cloudy. The only thing that was a bit strange was that you don't hear a "click" sound when the picture is taken. You push the lever down until it stops and then wonder "did I actually get the picture?" or "what part of the picture did I get?" because we took a lot of motion pictures i.e. someone or fish swimming and wondered if the target was centered in the middle of the frame. Scenic pictures above the water came out very clear too. I would definately buy this brand again.
- I bought this before going shark diving in a cage in Australia. It worked perfectly. The photos came out clear and taking pictures was quick and easy. If you're looking for a low-cost solution to a few underwater shots, this does the trick.
- DON'T buy this camera from Amazon. (actually you can't anyways). We ordered this camera for our upcoming cruise. As time was tight we chose the more expensive purchasing option from Amazon.com as it was listed as "In Stock" and "available for PRIME Shipping". I ordered it with Prime Shipping for 2 day delivery. Well 2 days came and went and no camera. I went back to my original order and noticed that the estimated delivery date was a week in the future? How could this be if it was "In stock" and a ordered with 2 day shipping? I cancelled and re-orded with over night shipping. The estimated delivery date was STILL a week away! That is when I saw that the "ships and sold by Amazon.com" descprition I saw when I placed the order changed on the delivery notice to "Sold by MTA..". Talk about bait and switch.
