  1. Since receiving this camera, I've been completely attached to it. I've taken it everywhere I go, even to the gym. It came with easy instructions to re-use it and I'd also like to note that you don't HAVE to use the colored film over the flash. It easily slides out of the way in case you want photos without a blue tint. Very neat. I'm now ordering the Green one with Red and Yellow next on my list.

  2. i bought a red and blue one and the flash worked twice on the blue before it stopped and it won't even flash on my red one. the photos turned out granular and horrible. only about 3 turned out completely. i don't think that it's worth the money, you're much better off buying a regular disposable and putting a piece of blue plastic in front of the flash.

  3. I bought the yellow one a few weeks back and absolutely loved it! My pictures turned out great! While you can get the film developed at a Big Box Store, my advice is don't. While the pics you get back will have the yellow (or other color) tint, the color isn't as true as it would be if you went to a camera shop and had them develop the photos. It's a fun little camera and I recommend it for anyone who wants to take funky photos.

  1. In the digital age its nice that these little disposables are still around so when you send a child to camp you can send these and not worry if the digital camera is going to get lost. Takes great pics just the same, and ordered a photo cd from photo lab and she was able to share online photos that way.

  1. Sure, the types of photos you can take with this camera are limited, but I'm guessing that if you buy one of these little cameras you aren't doing photo work for National Geographic or Life magazine.

Instead, this camera is perfect for those quick little getaways to the beach or on a trip down the road. If you're serious about your photos, then you might want to buy something that doesn't have "Single Use" printed on it. But in the case of this camera, it is perfect for a weekend or just a few silly shots of your friends.

Very easy to handle and stow away, this camera comes in handy for folks wanting quick pictures of damaged property. I'm talking about everything from a fender bender to house damage for insurance purposes.

This camera can be picked up in just about any store and they are very easy to use. The pictures may not be, ahem, picture perfect, but at least you'll have captured an inkling of what you did on that daytrip across the stateline or with the kiddies at the local zoo.

In short, get a few of these cameras and keep them laying around. You never know when that perfect photo moment will pop up, and with one of these guys in reach, you'll never miss that moment again.

  2. I work at a professional photofinishing lab, and I can attest to the quality of the film inside this camera. The Kodak FunSaver produces excellent results in outdoor and bright indoor shots. However, it does not perform well under normal circumstances indoors and in low-light situations.

The flash on the FunSaver is designed for outdoor use. Even if you are shooting outdoors with this camera, make sure you use the flash. In general, using a flash outdoors provides extra versatility when shooting subjects against bright backgrounds, and in all but the brightest sunlight, the flash will not wash out your subjects.

For indoor or low-light shooting, consider the Kodak PowerFlash camera.

  3. The description of this camera states that it is panoramic. It is not, so needless to say I was quite disappointed.

  1. its a fine product except for the fact that the flash needs to be turned on by flicking a switch, located on the front side of the camera body. Which means you are going to have a lot of underexposed interior shots, but nice outdoor shots..when the general public uses this camera for the first time. Learn from my mistake and buy kodak or whoever has an automatic flash that charges and sets itself when you hit the button to snap a picture.

  2. I bought a few of these wedding packs for my brothers wedding and was more than pleased with the results. Unlike the other reviewer our pictures came out great, indoor and outdoor shots. We were able to pass these out to various people at the ceremony and reception and got a wide range of great pictures. The benefit is that you don't have to bug everyone to send you their pictures of the wedding. I just gathered the cameras up at the end and got them developed. Now I'm thinking I'll buy a few of these for future parties, great product.

  3. The picture quality for these cameras is great. The biggest bummer is that it has so few exposures. When you go to get them developed, you have to pay as much as you would for a full 24 or 36 exposures. I would recommend buying a disposable camera with more exposures.

  4. This was a great product for the price. My reception was dimly lit but the pictures still came out fine. I would definately buy this product again for another formal affair.

  5. In preparation for my upcoming wedding, I read that Fujifilm Quick Snap was the best film and value for great single-use cameras. We will have to see, but I know that Fujifilm is a good brand of film from past use.
