  1. I've wanted a Polaroid for a long time, and this one was in very good condition and pretty cheap comparing to the hundreds I looked at on eBay. Delivery was pretty fast too. And even though the film included had been expired a couple of years, all the pictures I took with them still turned out great.

  2. I guess I'm the last person on earth to know that Polaroid has stopped making the One Step Camera and that there will be no more film made for those of us who have Polaroid One Step cameras. I did not buy from this vendor, but I do think that Amazon and/or sellers should let consumers know that there will no longer be film made for this camera--there is no compatible film made by anyone else--Polaroid One-Step 600 Instant Camerawhat's out there is the end of it. I will continue to buy from Amazon, but I am distressed that this information is not posted somewhere.

  3. I have not actually used it yet, (the film now costs a fortune) I am saving it for my 40th Birthday. However it arrived exactly as seller stated and I was impressed with the camera upon arrival. I will post more once I have used it.

  1. It seems to be a very good product. I would suggest
that it could be better if they have a proper
instruction sheet, instead of written on the package,
even that such a small letter needed a magnifying
    glass.

  2. no need to spend big bucks on OEM. This one works just as well at a fraction of the price.

  1. I found this great service and would use again and encourage others to do the same.

  2. My gosh, I had be many stores looing for this film for my camera - my camera works great still, but not without film, so why can't I find it - then, I remembered AMAZON - and sure enough, there it was - I ordered, the seller had it - I received in in 2 days and was so thankful. AMAZON comes through, yet AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. I hadn't used my camera for years, and decided to get some film. I then found out that the stores no longer carry it, but I found it on the internet. The first business wanted a huge mailing fee, so I next picked a dealer in Amazon which was much better priced.

Next was how did it work? I looked over the camera and the film, and then wondered about battery replacement after all this time. The computer helped a lot because it told me of the ingenious idea of putting a spark in the film pack to have the old battery working. After all these years it still worked, and I have a very good photo, and am looking forward to a family get-together in October using the rest of my two packs.

  4. i was nervous about purchasing old polariod film from an online company i didn't know. i received the order quickly, got a great deal, and the film works great! i'm so happy and pleased with everything! thank you!

  1. Each year I purchase a couple of these cameras for our snorkeling trips or just horsing around in the pool. They take great pics, have a rubberband type handle so you don't loose them in the water, and they're very inexpensive. Especially great for kids to use.

  2. I used this camera in Hawaii. Any pictures taken underwater with this camera should be extremely close range, no more than a couple feet away, and the water has to be very clear and extremely well lit. The pictures will be a bit grainy and fuzzy. Which is to be expected to a certain degree. The best purpose for this camera is taking pictures in the water, but not necessarily under the water except under ideal conditions. I wasn't too happy with this one, might be worth the extra cash to get one with flash on it, becaues at the end of the day when only a few pictures turn out, it's not really worth it.

  1. I took this camera with me on a medical mission trip to Honduras. We went to a remote village where the people are poor and have little access to modern amenities. I took several pictures of senior citizens and children and gave them to the families. They loved it! Probably most of them never have family pictures like we all take for granted. It was easy to use!

  2. instead of 3 pack of photo i received 2 only
    Paid for three though !!

  3. The camera looks fine. But the pictures are not very good. We first had expired film in camera and the pictures were horrible. We then found new film and there is still a line down the side of all the pictures. We now know that some of the problem is the camera not just film. Too expensive for what we received.

  4. I just wanted to thank the seller for how helpful he was getting me this item on time!
I have bought this item as a gift, so I don't have much details about it. I believe the person liked it!

  5. I had been wanting a Polaroid camera for a few months and had been debating on whether or not I should buy a used one or pay more and get a new one. I finally decided on a new one and purchased it on Amazon. It was delivered earlier than expected which was a pleasant surprise. However, though it was packed with tons of bubble wrap, the casing of the product was scratched and when I opened it the camera itself had a few scratches. Since I had specifically chosen to pay more for a new camera I was disappointed that it wasn't in perfect condition. Overall, the camera itself seems to be working as expected.

  1. I was so excited for this camera but it broke right away (30 secs after opening it) and I have experience with cameras. I think it is just badly made. My 80's camera made out of plastic lasted a long time but this is cheap plastic. I loaded the camera and it would not advance and I was careful. This would have been so much fun. But I will just take tons of pictures with my old SLR camera and work with that.

  2. Other than being a little wary of its toy-like plastic and the lack of flash, I have no complaints about this camera. I highly recommend it to anyone who is into experimentation and is willing to try different things. I've had results ranging from "What on earth is that burry mess repeated 8 times?" to beautiful scenes I never expected to come out of this ugly red brick.

  3. I bought this camera brand new in a retail box. First roll of film and it is already struggling mightily to work. The teeth slip off the roll because the flimsy gears are not strong enough to even pull the roll. I finally figured out after wasting a few frames a way to carefully advance the film without the gears letting go. This product is made at a level of a claw-machine toy. There is flat out no excuse for the Lomo company to charge $40 for this item. I totally respect what they have done for the Lomo movement and everything but this is not the way to do it. This product will alienate people from the movement; it is that bad. Go ahead and buy it and you will see what I am talking about. Save your money and buy a genuine Lomo antique from an online auction site.

  4. I gotta say, this company sure does great marketing... but their products aren't that good. I have this camera, and only 7 of the lenses ever work. Most of the time it is one lens thats broken, but mysteriously, sometimes it will fire while another one won't open. That would all be fine, except for the lens itself is complete garbage. The images are dull and a little blurred. Yes I used it in bright sunlight. Yes, the lens just sucks. Also, the exposures completely vary between lenses, so some frames are blown out, while others are underexposed.
Seems like a fun idea, ultimately a waste of time and money.

  5. This is my second purchase from the "toy camera" line and I must say - it's tons of fun, especially if you follow the lomographer's mantra and shoot from the hip. The Oktomat is a tough little camera -it bangs around in my purse everyday just in case I happen upon something interesting to photograph (or something uninteresting that I can photograph in an interesting way). I love the occasional light leaks and the slight dreamy blur of all the photos. This camera is not for the perfectionist - it's for the experimental crowd. And I agree with some other reviewers - the best photos are of moving objects.

Notes: The eight consecutive clacks really sound more like a grind, don't let this worry you. And there is a small black piece on the top of the camera - the film advance leaver should stay to the back of this, you may have to pop it back into place once in a while. All part of the low tech fun!

  1. The Diana id a great camera and a lot of fun to use. It truly brings photography back to its basics. The only issue I have is that there is a bit of a learning curve and, while it can be forgiving, having fun with the Diana's more artistic features can lead to a lot of pictures not coming out right or not at all. This can be expensive while getting to know the Diana camera, especially if using 120 film, not to mention the development coast! With the 35mm back you can snap pictures constantly, get to know your camera more and not worry about the higher cost of film and development of 120 film. Once you've mastered the camera a little more you can "graduate" to 120 film and take full advantage of what this dynamic camera has to offer. Plus the 35mm back can add a few extras of it's own. Definitely a great item to add to your Diana kit.

  2. Good stuff for diana user.
get to save lotsa money on films and developing.
