  1. For several years I have been getting these Bible verse calendars for gifts, for my kids, for friends, preachers, parents. It's the perfect gift for anyone, and something they will use every day of the year. My Dad asks for refills: )

  2. This calendar has something interesting each day. And not the passages in the Bible that we hear over and over again, but also lesser known passages and Proverbs. It is a good way to include a little bit of religion in your daily routine, even on those days when you are super-busy!

  1. I am an AB mom and fan. The Calendar is in a big format, so pictures are big too. The pictures itself are good, there is a couple that are really really outstanding. The quality of the paper is really good too. I have it in my office and I make all kinds of notes on it. Seems to be taking it very well. All pictures are of Johnson type dogs in outdoor settings. Bottom line, good, nice and beautiful dog guarrantee.

5 comments about Classic James Bond 2004 Calendar.
  1. This is anything but a "classic" calendar. It is a fine calendar, but it is not "classic" unless you consider Halle Berre--although beautiful--and Timothy Dalton, as classic. Roger Moore scenes appear 3x, whereas Sean Connery only appears twice, the same number of times as does Timothy Dalton. Disappointing . . .

  2. There are 12 months in the year and 20 Official James Bond films. 12 out of 20 isn't bad. That's 60 percent. 60 percent of 5 stars is 3 stars. That's about how I would rate this James Bond calendar. The photos of Grace Jones from A VIEW TO A KILL and Diana Rigg (with George Lazenby) from ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE look the best.

  3. This is a fantastic collection of pictures of the James Bond girls. I have been looking for years for some of these photos. You really can't go wrong.

  4. Photography is a hobby of mine and a rather passionate hobby to be sure. However the photographs represented here are commonplace to say the least. There is no life, no vitality in the visuals. This is the world of James Bond. His world is dynamic and resourceful. These images are unfortunately contrary to that vision. Month after month you will find nothing better than that indelible image found on the cover of this calendar. They are getting rid of Pierce Brosnan and I just wonder who or what is next. Possibly the publicity photographer? The value of the Bond continues to diminish. Perhaps the one small saving Grace (excuse the pun) is that introspective shot of Grace Jones from A VIEW TO A KILL.

  5. The "Bond Girls 2006 Calendar: The Women of 007" is one of the better ones. The balack & white photos from DR. NO, FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, GOLDFINGER and DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER are outstanding. There is also a great color photograph of George Lazenby from ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE.

3 comments about Craft & Art Show Calendar #27 - Spring 2004 to Spring 2005.
  1. We huddle around this great little book at a Craft Show searching for more shows, discussing which are the best, choosing our next shows to be in. It is such a handy tool for many of us looking for more fairs and festivals here in PENNA and all 8 states surrounding PENNA. Not only does it have many shows not listed in other publications, it has new shows as well as the old standbys. We think it's the greatest! Keep it up!

  2. This Craft Show Book gets better and better every year!
It makes it so easy to find the information and handy to carry around. And it covers the areas I am looking for. I really recommend it for every crafts person, artists and if you just want to go visit all the shows. Kudos for Rose!!!

  3. It was hard to find this book on Amazon - but it is well worth getting! A lot of other Craft Show Guides have old shows, shows not out there anymore and many have gone. This book is up to date. Every show promoter in this book who I have contacted was greatly appretiative of knowing I found it in this book. The shows are good shows, large and small, in the area I want. I am thrilled that I discovered it and will be sure to spread the word!!! J.

5 comments about How to Make Money in Stocks Desk Diary 2004.
  1. O'Neil is the author of some fine books on investing and that is why I jumped at the chance to purchase this new diary-type book.
    My evaluation follows.
    Pros:
    1) There is a small paragraph of good investing advice for every day of the year(2004 only). For example: "Don't trade on news... it can shake you out. Understand the company and how they are really doing before reacting to a single news item on the company."
    2) It's spiral-bound, which makes it very easy to write in.
    3) Nice small size makes it unobstrusive in your briefcase.

    Cons:
    1) With two days on each page, there is very little room to write anything of substance. Just barely enough space to jot down 'Stocks to watch' & 'Today's Trades' on the small lines provided.
    2) No factual information included from the authors past books. Only contains "Quotes", which probably aren't even his.

In closing, I will have to recommend:
    "The Stock Trader's Almanac 2004"

  2. but don't think about writing anything on it since you won't find space in the pages to do it.
And be careful with the 2004 calendar in the back pages, since they forgot it's a leap year and February proudly displays 28 days. Let's hope the graphs are more accurate

  3. This book is one of the very first investment/trading books I read when I start trading in the beginning of the bull market of 2003. And I thought it is a great book with a great system and I made myself a believer too. But as I read more and more, and expanded my experiences and knowledge in the markets, I realized this book is nothing but a marketing brochure for his IBD. Without IBD, you can't do anything (I was a subscriber). The articles on the newspaper are poorly written. His method is nothing other than buying breakout, you can find this information on the web for FREE. He failed to emphasize on where to set stop and limit your risk, the 7% or 8% is too general. He failed to explain when to move the stop up, and where. Failed where to get out. Just named a few. If you interest in learning how to buy breakout, where to set stop, and when to move up the stop, I recommend Nicolas Darvas's books.

FYI: O'neil started 2 funds, and both were forced to sold out. And the last one happened in the raging bull of the 90s.

  4. I had the 2004 version of the O'Neil desk diary, and I loved it. This version looks just as good. Another review on Amazon is highly critical of O'Neil and his investing methods. I will admit, learning how to invest with patience and hard work is probably not for everyone. This is not a "get-rich-quick" scheme. But if you want to really learn how the market works and how to find the best stocks in the world, this diary and a subscription to Investor's Business Daily will get you on your way. And the price is too good to pass up.

  5. Like so many of the recent changes at IBD, the new IBD 2005 Desk Diary falls short. It is poorly constructed and the informative content of the newest diary is less than half of the 2004 version. Also, whereas the excellent format of the pages in the 2004 version was designed to help traders/investors in tracking their potential stock picks, the 2005 looks like an ordinary calender. It is essentially useless.

I'm a long-time subscriber to IBD. Considering the horrible format changes to the newspaper, I'm not at all surprised to see the 2005 Desk Diary has gone the way of the dogs.
