It would make a great gift to any teddy bear collector or even the beginning collector! I highly recommend this book, and guarantee you won't want to put it down.

I purchased all the sets I could for this book plus the extra binder, but nothing after the September releases have been issued, I feel this set is incomplete as nothing was published after that date. What happened to all the releases and retirements after September 1998? Now I bought this set and can't complete it.

1. Outdated within weeks after its release. Collectors and enthusiasts are better served by Mary Beth magazines and internet.



2. This book was pretty good. It has a part called the Beanie Explosion which is the history history of Beanie Babies, all the Beanie Babies up to the fall, 1998 releases, a checklist and Beanie Babie Profiles.

5. Small and very easy to carry when I'm out searching for Beanies. It has interesting Beanie trivia. The longer Complete Idiot's Guide to Beanie Babies by the same author goes into even greater detail about my favorite collecting hobby!

1. This is such a terrific little guide. All the detail I needed at the time and small enough to carry around in my purse, making notes on everything I'd purchased or wanted to purchase in the future. What a great idea and fabulous writer! PLEASE GIVE US ANOTHER!



2. This book is really incredible. Not only was I amazed by the amount of bean bags included, the pictures and pricing information is great, too. Finally, someone who prices beanies realistically, and not according to what so-called "collectors" (a.k.a. "secondary market dealers") wished they could get for beanies--these are real prices that you can expect to pay for and receive for any kind of bean bag. I love Disney and Warner Brothers and advertising bean bags even better than Ty ones, and this is definitely the book to have. Thanks Mrs. Brecka for a great book! I hope you continue to come out with new updated books.



3. It's a pretty good book. Being new to this whole "craze," I found it very helpful in determining best prices and gauging what were legitimate "beanies" and what were garbage.
