1. My family and friends enjoyed the cat book. We all love animals. I was able to meet and play with the three cats that are in the book! The author is my brother. He died of cancer during the summer of 1997. His book is sure to be a classic.

1. I have two border collies, ages 13 and 9yrs. The 9 yr old began haveing seizures after her rabies vaccine when she was just 5 yrs old. I found a holistic and homeopathic vet and started making her food from scratch. Treated her with homeopathic remedy, give her vetri science supplements and they both eat what my husband and I do. They are both in great shape,even my regualr vet says she cannot believe what great shape the 13 yr old is in. My dog has been seizure free for 4 yrs now and I read everything I can on making their food and treats as well as no more vaccines. Have had titers done and their antibodies show they are fine and do not need the vaccines so I do not give them. People do not get vaccines every 3 years so why should animals?????

2. A friend of mine recommended this book to me because I have ayear and a half old cocker spaniel named Lily that suffered from emotional distress when ever I left her alone. She would whine and cry until I would go back into the house and take her with me. She couldn't be left alone for 5 minutes. Now that I have this book and used it's natural remedies Lily is fine. I purchased a second copy for my sister because her dog suffered from seizures. She was tired of treating him with pills that altered his behavior and made his hair fall out while he continued to suffer through the seizures. Thanks to this book he is healthy and no longer suffers from seizures. He is like a new dog. I recommend this book to everyone that truly loves their animals.



3. I have a dog and several cats and was always plagued by fleas. I didn't want to use chemical treatments and a friend told me about this book. The natural approach worked and so far this year we all are flea-free. It also gave me lots of good information on things in my house and yard that can make my animals sick. I will never again let my dog, chomp on the Xmas tree. Anyone who owns a dog or cat will need this book. The information given can keep our animals healthy so we can forget about vet bills for non-emergency illnesses since they won't get sick in the first place. I'm glad the authors wrote a book about illness prevention to complement all those books that tell us what to do after their pet gets sick.

1. I have several cats so I thought I would buy this book just for fun to see how smart my cats are.



2. We're longtime fans of Miller's Dog I.Q. Test, so sure thing for us to try out the cat version once learning of it.

   Our cat appeared to be super intelligent, and this test proved it out. This cat outsmarts our dogs, neighbor cats, squirrels, etc. She is sly.

   Cat did much better than the owners did on their test. That's what is neat about this book. Both cat and owners get a score.

   Anecdotes and stories are a delight to read. Also, submit your cat's results and see it published in new editions.

   This is neat idea for all us cat lovers.




3. This book is great! It really works. For any cat. Just select the answer that is CLOSEST to what your cat does and add up the points. It's that easy. And there is also an IQ test for you so you can see how much you know about cats. This is such a great book. Try it out!



4. While sometimes no answer seemed to fit my cat, it is still an enjoyable book. It can make you aware of some of your cat's traits that you may have never thought about. Take the results with a grain of salt. Just like people, measuring the intelligence of a cat is not an exact science.



5. This book is ideal only if you have an average cat. The book is good and well written. It has cute quotes, interesting facts and a terrific, breif history of cats. Also a few funny tails;that I find to be Animal Planet worthy. However, it's just not sutible for the not so average cat. It has limeted answers. If a person has a unusall(ie: my cat Sharky)cat it can be very hard to answer. Thus makeing it extremly hard to "rank" a persons cat. Overall the book is good and I do recomend it. If anything for novelty perposes;or a party gag!!!

1. A WONDERFULLY TOLD CAT-TAIL! THE ILLUSTRATIONS ARE LOVELY AND APPROPRIATE TO THE PLAYFUL THEME OF THE BOOK.



2. This is a fantastic story. It sparks children and adults (I'm 53!) the imagination and creativity that will help make the world a more beautiful place. I hence started to write my own children's stories. Amy Tan is my inspiration, and I hope she becomes yours.



3. I am the mother of 2 boys and have little knowledge of "girl" books. I bought this book for 2 little girls ages 4 and 5. The parents of each girl said their daughters were thrilled with the book and asked that it be read to them twice the day the book arrived. I bought the book because I love Amy Tan's novels and assumed that a child's book would be just as engaging. Amy Tan's story and the beautiful illustrations did not let me down.



4. The most exquisitely illustrated book I've ever owned! A fun, fictitious way to describe how white siamese kittens get their colors.
   It's a bit long for a bed time story, but really fun! Kids ages 8 or 9 and up may be able to read it themselves, but the beginners may have a hard time.



5. I've read Amy Tan's "Joy Luck Club" and "Kitchen God's Wife" and had no idea that she's a wonderful children's author as well. I learned about this book from watching the same titled PBS series. The series is cute for kids, but the book is a wonderful story, rich in history and beautifully illustrated. Tan is a gifted writer that children and adults can appreciate.

1. I ordered this product as a Christmas gift in mid-December and it thankfully arrived before the end of January, allowing the recipient to enjoy January's hilarious pictures. It would have been nice to have it under the tree in time, though!



2. 2007 was very funny, 2008 is not at all. Not sure If you changed writers, more importantly though...why did you leave off Easter this year? I won't be buying this calendar again.



3. Hysterically funny. A little edgy so it may not be appropriate for young kids. We hung ours out of sight. Ours came with a set of post cards, my fave was the one about Camus.



4. This calender is absolutely hiliarious. Purrrrfect gift for any cat lover. And yourself, too!

1. Eleven different mystery and crime short stories, all involving a cat to one degree or another. The are all very good, with a nice variety of styles and plotlines and some are truly excellent. My favorite is the Maltese Double Cross by Carole Nelson Douglas -- which has got to be one of the most hilarious cat stories ever written. Just picture Sam Spade with fleas and a hair ball and you'll get the right image. She has an incredible flair for dialogue and the entire book is worth it for this one story!
