1. Great book. Breaking through medical research and the spiritual wisdom of the Vedas. A must!



2. Healing starts with the persons mind.
   
   Bliss, DNA, Mind, and body combine to strength the neuropetides levels and allow the immune system to kill the cancer. India and Chinese approaches to healing share some come duality.
   
   The reason the author calls his approach quantum healing is because the person thinks the thought, something happens (a jump in results) (entanglement), and the body responds. Correct thinking can help the body heal, if it is not to damaged.
   
   The book is about stories of people, who heal themselves with their minds. It is a book about the potential for the mind to affect the DNA. The book illustrates indian healing power feats by the Rishi that seem dream like and surreal. The author tells numerous stories of people, who have cured themselves of cancer with their minds. However, the author did not reveal the number of people, who failed and died.
   
   The book will not teach how to heal your cancer. The book will not describe visualization techniques for activiting a state of bliss. The book will not demonstrate how entangle could happen.
   
   The mind has powerful process for control pain which far exceed modern pain medicine. Negative thoughts can strength disease and cancer. Positive thought or Bliss can strengthen the immune system which can kill the cancer like an infection.



3. I've bought this book because my girlfriend has breast cancer and we're not going for conventional treatment (cut/poison/burn). The book was translated into our language (Dutch), so I thought this would be a good read for her - her English isn't very fluent, neither is mine...
   
   At this point she was feeling pretty confident about her chances to beat this disease by non-convential means. However, when she read page 42 (54 in the Dutch edition) I immediately could see there was something wrong. When I asked her about it, she handed me the book and it didn't take long for me to realize what had upset her. The text went:
   
   "Cancer is wild, anti-social behavior, whereby a single cell reproduces itself without check, heeding no signals from anywhere except, apparently, its own demented DNA. Why this occurs, no one knows. It is a good bet that the body itself knows how to reverse the process, but for some reason, equally unknown to science, it doesn't always succeed. It is only a matter of time, once the process begins, before the cancer cells overwhelm a vital organ, crowd out its normal cells, and cause death. When the final crisis comes, the cancer cells perish with the rest of the body, doomed by their ungoverned appetite for self-expansion."
   
   Of course she was terrified! It took me a long time to explain to her that there was no direct danger, because no vital organs where involved in her case. Like most doctors, Deepak Chopra lacks the ability to be subtle with regard to their patient's feelings...
   
   Because of the pretty harsh statements here and there, best read it BEFORE you get seriously ill.



4. I first read Quantum Healing about twelve years ago. I was studying how human consciousness occurs and my studies led me to this book. I was impressed by Dr. Chopra's excellent scholarship. He made complex workings of the human body make sense to a layman. Since reading this book, I have read more than eight other titles written by Dr. Chopra. My favorite book since Quantum Healing is The LOVE POEMS of RUMI. I purchased this copy of Quantum Healing to read the book again with a fresh look. I like to write in my books--taking notes and drawing images in the borders. This helps me when I go back to study the book again. I can quickly find information. I wanted a fresh look at Quantum Healing because it is so rich with ideas. I didn't want to just see what I had viewed the first time I read the book. I am convinced this book has messages for everyone. Thank you Deepak.



5. The book received was fine. However, it has some stains near the rim and inside the pages. I know the price is very cheap, but next time I prefer to purchase books in more nice appearance. Thank you.

1. I love this audio book. It is very informative and enlightening. After listening to this cassette tape, I found myself reaching the same wave length and conclusion that Deepak Chopra and Gregg Braden did. I would like to master this kind of focused prayer.

3. I loved listening to both Deepak and Gregg. Gregg is one of my favourite writers and speakers and his well researched ideology of Ancient philosophies is very relatable and intriguing. It is amazing how his scientific understandings come together with the writings of Chris Thomas who writes from Akashic records.

1. I didn't care for the method of presentation. Monotone!! I felt like I had to Work to hard to get what could have been verbalized with a easier approach. Deepak moves through "Some" material way to fast and seemed to come to a almost deadening halt going through Why the hand bones connected to the wrist bone, which is connected to the arm bone, etc....
   To each his own, but I found This one to have Way to much info that I still am wondering why it was in there?? I Gave my Cd's away. I recommend "Ask and It Is Given-Part 1 (at least) by Esther & Jerry Hicks for The Law of Attraction.

3. I love the book. It is one of those books that teaches you lessons that will stay with you the rest of your life.



4. I've read many of Deepak's books,some're quite dry, this could be due to the fact that he's a man of science.But this book amazes me, Deepak's successfully used his spiritual insight as well as his knowledge of science to create a masterpiece.
   Although you'll come across terms like 'Heisenberg Uncertainity Principle","Minkowski's eight dimensional hyperspace" this book's not that dry. (I happen to read the large print edition).
   
   What Deepak's trying to tell us is that we're not alone in this universe,we're all inter-related.
   
   Deepak's devised a program for the reader to follow so that he or she'll be able to tune in with the desire of our Creator or Universe.
   
   According to Deepak there's no coincidences,it's only our failure to discern the plan that our Creator's put in place for us. If we can empty our mind, be still, listen to the voice within we'll be able to navigate life together with our creator and fulfill all our wishes and lead a life of fulfilment.



5. Leave it to the venerable Deepak Chopra to subtly explain Quantum Physics in words that make ME understand the whole concept for the first time. The understanding of Quantum Physics lays the foundation for the rest of his principles and beliefs which can only be described as soul-awakening.

1. The ideas are interesting but the writing is hard to grasp. Worth checking out. I couldn't get through it. I'm a writer but my reading skills are not great due to ADD I believe. Or maybe I'm just dumb.



2. I love Deepak Chopra, and this one, The Book of Secrets is my favorite one of his. He writes in a very readable style, yet he deals in very deep concepts and this oozes with philosophy that is both Eastern and universal, but in Western terms that most people can digest and enjoy. This book will leave you feeling better about everything in your world. (and outside of your world). I am a psychotherapist, Marriage and Family therapist, and this is one of the first books I suggest my clients read. Excellent book!



3. I have read "The Seven Spritual Laws" countless times and still find new wisdom within every time I read it.
   "The Book of Secrets" embraces a greater scope, or, rather; fills in the gaps, from "The Seven Spiritual Laws".
   The title says it all and I can strongly recommend it.

1. As always, Dr. Chopra's insights reveal an outlook that makes you think, "why have I been working so hard at this, when it is really quite simple?" Listening to the audio version has been great on my way to work. Of course, I would listen to Deepak Chopra read the phone book and his melodic voice would make it astonishing!



2. This book is fine if you are not farmiliar already with Deepak Chopra's work...why? because it is just an exerpt from earlier writings and audio programs...this man definitly knows how to make money by repacking the same thing for sale again and again. If you have not read or listened to his earilier stuff you will enjoy this.



3. This book is very simple, short, to the point. I like it because you can sit down & read it in an hour or so & get alot from it if you really want to. And I'll probably read it over & over because of that. Good book, simple & straightforward.



4. Purchased as a gift. My copy is well read. Speaks to the connectiveness of all life, encourages appreciation for the wonders that we are and have.

1. This CD set is a lovely and wonderful CD to listen to. It was fun and informative.
   
   I enjoyed that this was a lecture from the past and it has the spontaneity, humor, and feeling of being right there with them in the moment.
   
   It was a CD that I would recommend to anyone on the spiritual journey and looking for information that is grounded and sound in its perspecitve.
   
   Enjoy it. I know that you will.



2. It's funny that while attendance in more formal religions and churches seems to decline, an undeniable movement grows towards mankind's seeking some sort of answer, or path -- much like has been done for thousands and thousands of years.
   
   Chopra points out in his endlessley entertaining and educating style the fact that a) world religions are all telling the same exact story underneath the veil of politics and power, and b) the path we seek was being taught 1000 years before Christ walked in Palestine or Muhamed entered the cave with the angel. But the message is the same -- find yourself and you'll find more joy and happiness than any organization or ritual could ever provide. God-- or whatever you need or want to name him/her/it/them is alive in all of us -- and is our consciousness, for that matter. We're toys that the power that made this universe created for entertainment and growth, and we should do it while we have the chance.



3. This CD got me really interested in Intuition healing and I really enjoyed the conversation with Deepak and Judith Orloff. Very easy to listen to.



4. This CD is a good intro to Deepak Chopra & Judith Orloff. If you have already read their books or listened to them then this is not very useful.



5. The audio cd was interesting but had many references to books and programs with only short explanations and insights on the topics. More information about Judith Orloff personally while interesting, left little time for the topic at depth. Good as an introduction but light.

4 comments about Magical Mind, Magical Body : Mastering the Mind/Body Connection for Perfect Health and Total Well-Being.

1. Chopra offers many profound insights here about the body's relation to the mind. He identifies the three main personality groups and the reader is instructed to choose which one best describes him/her. From there, he tells what kind of food, music, activities, etc the person may be drawn to. Most of these are accurate observations and, while everyone may not agree with all of his suggestions, there are many things here you can do to reach your optimum health and potential.
   
   Among my favorite parts are:
   1) The kinds of foods that satisfy cravings. The different personalities require different things to satisfy their hunger cravings. Some may require bitter foods while others need sweet foods or pickles. This can help cut back on overeating and help you lose weight.
   
   2) Wait five minutes after you eat before you go back for more. This helps the food settle and also cuts back on overeating.
   
   3) Dealing with emotions. Anger and rage can effect your health. He gives exercises in which you can identify the feelings and make them go away.
   
   There are several more subjects he covers. Some are a little out there. For instance, he suggests food has a better effect on the body if you eat in complete silence and think about nothing but you eat while you are doing so. Good luck with that if you eat in restaurants or with friends or family... Overall, he makes many good points. Some things I knew all along but never put conscious thought to, which proves his point that the body and the mind are connected and the body thinks and feels just as much as the mind. He also narrates the audiobook himself. I don't usually read self help books, but this one was worth the time and money. I'll definitely read more of his work.



2. This audio book is a must hearing for everyone who seeks health.
   
   But it's missing the written manual. and in the audio he is always referring to it!!
   
   Why?



3. This is a must have in the collection for antone who is on the continuous journey of self growth.



4. This information should be introduced in middle school and continued through college. The message implies that we are creatures of perception and the way we perceive the world becomes our sense of reality. In other words, what you percdeive, is what you are.

1. I was a little disappointed in this book, because I found it too deep (if you will). It did not keep my interest and I ended up never finishing it. I had seen the author on the Bonnie Hunt Show and liked what he said, but did not get the same feeling while reading the book.



2. The Ultimate Happiness Prescription is read by Chopra himself and provides a fine set of seven keys to uncover true joy even in hard times. The goal of life is the expansion of happiness - but often that goal seems impossible, with society maintaining other values such as wealth and good relationships supersede this one. Chopra indicates all life success is due the by-product of basic happiness, not the cause - and his steps can unfold this. New age and general collections will find his an ongoing, popular pick.



3. As with all of Dr. Chopra's books, it is a very inspiring read. Lots of info for becoming a more centered and happier person, with many reason's why you should give up your negative thinking and live the happy life you deserve.



4. As always, this author presents a book full of ways to help the reader on their journey toward enlightenment, "soul improvement".
   
   Happiness, so complicated yet so simple to experience. Beautiful book!



5. Spirituality and Enlightement are difficult subjects to write about and Deepak's 50 odd books, essentially contain the same message - how do you make Happiness Permanent? If you are avid Chopra fan, you will enjoy the book - but the fact remains that if you take any of one of his books seriously and make Enlightenment the goal of your life - you might end up saving money.

5 comments about Reinventing the Body, Resurrecting the Soul: How to Create a New You.

1. This book is pretty great. Right in the beginning you'll already begin to feel more aware of how the body and soul are connected. Then as you go on with each page that feeling keeps getting refined to a point where you feel limitless. And the thing is...you've always been, but the book just helps you re-discover it.



2. I have been a huge Deepak Chopra fan and advocate for many, many years and am offended by the political slant that emerges halfway through this book. I find it inappropriate based on the type of book this is. If I want to read a politically biased book I will choose from the political science category.



3. This is a great book for a searching "soul." Dr. Chopra demonstrates a higher awareness that is available here and now if we can shake some of our fixed ideas of materialism, and see a higher and less elevated aspect of our materialism. I particularly appreciated Dr. Chopra's "soft" approach to a universal awareness that is inherent in all things, thoughts, and ideas. He also demonstrates how science supports a higher awareness if we but take a less fixed and rigid approach to it's findings.



4. Havent had time to read the book yet but I am looking forward to it soon. It was a good price and the seller shipped it quickly.



5. This is a good book, easy to read and understand. It is the first of Deepak Chopra's books I have purchased and I am glad I did purchase it. I saw Ellen DeGeneres interview him on here show which is what prompted me to buy this particular book of his. The book supports ideas I have thought to be true for some time now. I would recommend to anyone wanting to live a happier, longer life.

1. I already had this audio book on tape and needed to have it on a cd.the seven laws of success are my words to live by.



2. Despite this book's simplicity, it offers up a nice starting point for anyone on the spiritual path.
   
   So often, sages engage a readership through the hackneyed Q & A format which ends up masking the subtlety that can be developed through well-developed prose. Perhaps this is why I liked reading this book. Chopra simply and directly points toward helpful shifts in perspective as well as helpful practices for anyone interested in beginning their journey.

4. Simplicity is often overlooked when thinking through a religious mindset. But when thinking and living through the lens of Spirituality and understanding the spiritual laws which Chopra explains provides deep and further englightement. I reference the title in my own book, Repackaged Common Sense: A New Age Path to Career and Business Sucess This book is definitely needed.



5. I ordered the Seven Spiritual Laws of Success in a rush. I signed up for a class with this book at its base and the class was about to begin. My book arrived the day before the class AND the book was in perfect shape and about a quarter of its original price.
