Don’t get me wrong, I think it is great that Bob Geldof is putting on yet another charity concert. When people started listing Live 8 Concert tickets on ebay, he complained. I frankly don’t blame him for that either. Ebay pulled the ticket auctions. But then Geldof has to start bad mouthing ebay! Geldof said eBay’s decision to allow the listing of the tickets in the first place had been “a sort of example of corporate arrogance that it thought it could operate outside the morality of its audience…I am glad it’s stopped and well done for taking them down but it was despicable and they should have thought about it before they did this,” Geldof told Sky News. Listen Bob, ebay doesn’t review every single listing that goes on ebay beforehand! They didn’t know about the listings until AFTER they had already been listed. Then they aren’t going to just start dropping listings at the drop of hat, until AFTER some review. WHY don’t you blame the people who were SELLING the tickets? It was THESE people who were selling the tickets. And wasn’t YOU who sold THEM the tickets in the first place? Maybe YOU should be more careful about who sell your tickets to! So take your holier than thou attitude and cram it! BTW, whats with the Text Messaging Lotto for the concert tickets? Not that I was planning to make to your show, but not everyone in the world has text messaging!
