- This book is an excellent reintroduction to the work of Paul Hanly Furfey. Though I have a chapter in this book, I would like to recommend the book on the strength of the other contributors, such as Francesco Villa, Bronislaw Misztal, and Donald Paul Sullins. Furfey's social theory has been largely forgotten in the U.S. as compared to his work with social justice. However his work, a precursor to today's public sociology, is more relevant than ever.
