  1. Rafe Mair throws in some interesting shots in his book. He grapples with everything from fishing to politics to religion. He offers good insights however his commentaries are woefully too short to be assessed properly. His writings on globalization sound as if he hasn't be informed on the nitty gritty details of economic policy in the world. But I like his shots at the political area in Canada and for that I will give him the benefit of the doubt.
