1 comments about Kaplan AP European History 2007 Edition (Kaplan Ap European History).
- I was totally shocked at this book - this book has completely discredited to me, a APEH Student, the credibility of Kaplan. Just by reading the book my IQ probally went down 30 points. Whoever wrote the book has absolutely NO Command or knowledge of the English Language, phrasing both teh review and questions in such deranged grammar-monstrosities that I had to spend 90% of the time on the practice tests trying to decipher the coded-question instead of thinking about the answer.
The practice tests are totally useless. While the grammar in the review is decent, the tests are absolute abominations. Not a single question is authentic from the AP Exam, and none of them have any resemblance either to a AP Question, simply because the grammar for every question is phrased so incorrectly making it unreadable.
For a good EHAP Review, I'd suggest purchasing the APEH Princeton Review Book - it excellently covers all the topics and the practice tests are both readable and are formatted like the real AP exam is (I'm basing this off looks at the released exams from 2004 and 1999, etc.). For anyone who wants to correctly measure his ability at the APEH exam, or who wants a good review, this isn't the book for you.
