5 comments about 50's Rockabilly Black & White Polkadot Halter Dress Sundress.

  1. I bought this dress a year or so ago, and it's still going strong. I've loved it so much that you can tell it's got some wear on it. The fit is a little awkward with a big bust and a big waist. I'm a size 14 and I bought the 1x size.. I should have gone smaller. That being said, I tie the halter tighter and wear a more padded bra with it, and usually tie an apron around the waist part. It's a really cute dress..team it up with saddle shoes and it really rocks!

  2. I purchased this dress for a country wedding and it fit perfectly. I was hesitant to buy once reading the reviews, but the price and style were too good to pass up. I measured myself and studied the size chart both on Amazon and on the retailer's website. I am normally a size 18 womens, not petite and not a junior by any means. I purchashed the dress in a 2X and it fit like a dream. I will suggest, along with some of the other reviews, that the bodice/top part of the dress will take some skillful manuevering in making the dress work and fit comfortably. I am lucky in that I had a halter-type slip dress with built in bra to give me support while wearing this dress. If you think you can get away with wearing this dress without some kind of undergarment support you are wrong. The measurements and proportions are a bit off. I can only speak for myself and my body type for the size 2X. The dress fit my torso and fell over my hips and the hem came just below my knee; a very stylish dress. I suggest buying it, but buyer beware

  3. This dress, bought from USA and send to Sweden, was actually cheeper than to buy a dress here.. The dress is perfect and due to the table with the inches of all sizes a got a perfect match. I strongly recommend this dress!!

  4. I don't know where they get their sizing numbers. I am a plus size and went with 5 x, it fits a size 18 womens, so I don't know how they get 5x = size 18? Do Not-Do Not order this product!!!!!!! And if you do, order the biggest size to get the closest, but if you are over a size 18 don't even bother.

  5. i noticed a few other review mentioned this dress runs small but i figured they were older women and not as tight as i am (im only 21) so i ordered a small (what i usually wear) and it hangs on me. its HUGE! its a very cute and comfortable dress but they seem to have sizing issues. be careful.

  1. Sassy shoe with satin material and a completely covered heel. It makes a fashion statement instead of just your regular leather oxfords. The material makes it too dressy for jeans but good for a dressy occasion.

  1. Not only am I satisfied with the product I am very satisfied with the quick way it came to me.

  2. I have tried many shoes over my 45 years. I must say this shoe is the best shoe ever. I first bought this shoe when I was a server. I now walk 6 miles a day at my local walking trail, and this shoe keeps up. it is light weight, and molds to the shape of your foot quickly. I have never worn out a pair of these shoes, I just replace them after a year, because they look so dirty. Now that is more than 50 miles a week for more than 52 weeks, that is more than 2,600 miles and they keep going!!! When I wore other shoes, I had pain in my knees and hip.

  1. Our oldest Son loved these shoes. He wore them until they were full of holes and rips and the sole was half gone (or gone in places) and he still wore them. As a parent though I would have wished for a more solid, supportive shoe, but that wouldn't be "cool".

5 comments about Medela Comfort Nursing Bra - Black.

  1. It has more support than a traditional "sleep bra" but is still comfy. It's a good "sitting around the house in a t-shirt" kinda bra.

  2. This Bra is extremely comfortable it's nice to sleep in and wear out if your not too busty that is b/c it doesn't offer alot of support but it was just right for my 34 B cup...If your bigger you might want to just use it for sleeping...My one issue with the Bra was the clasp that hooks the side straps have to slide into each other instead of your usual standard bra clip that is hooked into the other piece (just look at a nursing bra at your local store and see what I mean)
It's just different and....Because of it being different it was a bit hard for me when I was feeding at night and I was trying to do things one handed and really it takes two to reclip but with some practice I've slowly mastered the skill.

  3. this is hands down my favorite nursing bra. the fabric is soft, comfortable and it doesn't look like a total grandma bra. They also have it in black which is a HUGE plus! It's very elastic and stretchy, you can sleep in it, easy to clasp/close... my only complaint is that after a while the elastic loses its mojo and then it becomes a saggy mess. If you're looking for comfortable, this is definitely the way to go.

  4. I was looking for an attractive but supportive bra for larger chests (I range from a 36E to a 38DD). When I saw the picture of the Medela Comfort Maternity Nursing Bra in White it just looked so dammed sexy--and with great full coverage. So I took the plunge and ordered it (I didn't even know the individual cups "came undone")! I could not be happier! The puckering in the middle provides great separation; the one-piece design, the wide straps, sides and bottom band deliver terrific support. Disputing what one reviewer said, one can exercise in it. I know, I've done it and there was no bounce. And ladies, let me tell you, it is BY FAR the sexiest bra I've ever owned. The microfiber material is luxurious and the stretchiness makes it fit like a second skin--this bra easily puts the much ballyhooed Spanx line to shame! And by the way, my boyfriend *loves* the "lettin' `em loose" drop-down cup flaps which are very easy to detach in an instant, even singlehandedly! LOL! I am ordering another one!

  5. I agree with the other reviewers - this bra is an AWESOME sleep bra. I got this when I first gave birth and discovered that the nursing bras I bought prenatally were way too big in the band as I grew three sizes during pregnancy. My lactation consultant recommended it as a transition bra while your rib cage shrinks and your breasts get engorged as your milk comes in. Then once your body gets used to producing milk and your ribcage has returned to its normal size, you will be able to buy bras that will fit you properly going forward.

I wear a 38H normally and own two of the XL size. They are tight but they are comfortably tight and provide just the right amount of support at night. I don't need nursing pads anymore, but when I used them this bra held them in place extraordinarily well.

My one complaint is that this bra does not give you a very attractive shape. Maybe if you are naturally perky you will find it gives you a good shape, but for me I just look like I have one big breast across my chest.

I highly recommend getting a couple of these for sleeping or lounging in, especially for the first 3 months of breastfeeding.

5 comments about Women's Bass Margie.

  1. These are great sandals! Very comfortable, you almost forget that they are on your feet. I always get the tan color, they go with everything.

  2. I've had these sandals before and they fit perfectly. I ordered them in the same size and they are too wide. I can wear them but they are not nearly as comfortable as my old ones.

  3. I bought a pair of these when I purchased a pair of the Sharon style to replace a pair I'd had for years. I thought it might be a good idea to also have an open toe sandal for various occasions.

I've not yet had a chance to wear them as my daughter (17) has pretty much taken possession of them. She's not a sandal person (preferring boots and the like), so, at least in my view, this may be considered high praise indeed.

It appears, then, I'll have to purchase another pair for myself, for which I'll let my daughter post a review ;-)

  4. I had a pair of Bass sandals that looked similar and it came time to get a new pair. I found that the old style was no longer available so I ordered these. They are a poor replacement - the fit is off. The straps are very rigid (after a few attempts at breaking in) and rub awkwardly on various places on the foot. Can't wear these for more than a few minutes at a time.

  5. Shoes.com provided wonderfully fast service and a decent sandal price. Too bad my feet are so impossible; my fault, not theirs! A friend with a larger size and medium width tells me she has worn hers "Margie" sandal comfortably for 12 years. They still look new, as evidenced by my ordering them after seeing how lovely they were when she wore them to a recent event.

Bass always produces a good product. I ordered the "tan distressed" and they are beautiful sandals, with sumptuously comfy soles. They are adequately sturdy, while also enabling feet to still look dainty and shapely. For the $30 which I paid, free postage, they are a fairly good buy.

Nevertheless, these sandals are not perfectly comfortable for me, perhaps more my fault than theirs. My advice to a person with small, narrow feet is that this product may not be exactly right. The front straps are in a fixed position, as are most strappy sandals, while the back ones are adjustable. This said, the size 7 Narrow is not for a truly narrow foot, mainly due to the positioning and size of the front straps.

I will keep these sandals and can wear them "around," but on day trips or shopping I would probably not be able to endure the slight floppiness. There is just a tad too much give for my foot. Even the back strap isn't quite perfect for me, as it tends to force the foot forward when adjusted in the tightest position. Yet I need the very tightest buckle hole in order to keep the shoe on my foot at all.

Would I have bought these had I been shopping in a store, where I could have tried them on? Probably not. But I've been to dozens of quality shoe stores already this summer, to no avail seeking my size in this type sandal. At one point, I went store-to-store at a huge outlet mall, hitting every place with shoes, including Bass itself. At one store, Etienne Aigner, I was so frustrated that I made the comment that they no longer carried either my size or my style. When the saleswoman heard I wore a narrow, she said, "Oh we'll, never go back to THOSE again." It seems as if most stores consider customers with dainty, narrow feet an oddity, not deserving to find shoes at all. So perhaps, in spite of my dissatisfaction with the sandals in question, I did well by ordering them.

  1. I bought the cute red ones with the black and white bow because they were perfect for an outfit that I had just bought. I bought them along with two pair from the parent company Naughty Monkey. I couldn't wait until the shoes came and envisioned myself strutting my stuff in these shoes. When they came I was ecstatic, they actually looked prettier than the picture, when I tried them on all my joy faded away, they did not fit! There will be no strutting for me, not only were they too small, but too narrow. I looked at the bottom of the shoe to see if I had been sent the wrong size, but it wasn't. I tried on the two pair of Naughty Monkey shoes and they fit perfectly. This is my first and last pair of Not Rated shoes for me. I will stick to the Naughty Monkey.

  2. these shoes are absolutely adorable!! and what high heel doesn't kill your feet by the end of the day? they weren't any different from wearing another absolutely adorable shoe!! after all beauty is pain!!

  3. I was desperately seeking a cute yellow shoe...these were right up my alley. An absolute must have for me...ah no! The shoe is sharp yet so uncomfortable I couldn't stand to be in them for 5 minutes let alone for my long work days...better luck next time with my shoe decisions.
