1. I upgraded from the same style RayBans that were a few years old so I could get the wider temples to block more light from the sides. The older pair were the usual RayBan green, while these are the gray polarized glass. The polarized lenses make a noticable difference when driving, and I look forward to trying them on the boat this summer. Unfortunatly the lenses are not as dark as the green ones, and I am not sure how to tell which lenses are darker ones from model numbers etc., next time I buy... otherwise, good sunglasses.

1. i buy ray ban aviators for the classic styling and for the glass lenses. i mistakedly assumed these had glass lenses as well. i paid $100 for plastic lenses and they are already scratched to $#&t. they should say in the description that these glasses are made of plastic.



2. I've never received my stuff, even the delivery options was expedite (and more expense). I came back to my country without my glasses. It was a very bad experience and I wont buy at Amazon in the near future.
