1. I upgraded from the same style RayBans that were a few years old so I could get the wider temples to block more light from the sides. The older pair were the usual RayBan green, while these are the gray polarized glass. The polarized lenses make a noticable difference when driving, and I look forward to trying them on the boat this summer. Unfortunatly the lenses are not as dark as the green ones, and I am not sure how to tell which lenses are darker ones from model numbers etc., next time I buy... otherwise, good sunglasses.

1. This order is my second pair. The protection that this glasses offer is excellent. They fit like a glove. I have used them at sea, snow and desert and I use them daily . They are not as fragile to scratch as plastic sunglasses being they are real glass. The frame is made in Italy, very ligth and strong and the design is ageless. I'm glad they still make them as just about everything you buy today is no longer available tomorrow. My original pair are about 6 years old and still going!
