1. The hat looks wonderful for dress when the weather turns cooler. Since I am Santa year round, I have a lot of red clothing. I was looking for a hat that wasn't the traditional Santa hat and wasn't a ball cap... this hat fits the bill perfectly.

1. If you are looking for a reliable, well made hate for wet weather, then the Seattle Sombrero is the answer. I bought mine about 4 years ago and have used it traveling to northern california during wet weather. The hat is very well made and comfortable. The gortex panels keep the rain out and the brim gives excellent protection. Works better then the hood of a parka because it preserves far more peripheral vision. Highly recommend this hat for anyone who spends a lot of time in wet weather.
