- My oldest son (who is 10) is getting over stress fractures in both heels. These shoes are the only ones we have found (after extensive searching and purchasing) that allow him to still do his thing on concrete, etc. without re-injuring his heels. He loves how comfortable they are and the design. We love how they work so he can be the athlete he loves to be.

- I thought long and hard before I buckled to my daughter's pleas for "Healeys". I had trouble with the solitary rear wheel causing kids to lean back. I know my daughter and graceful she is not! These skates were much better because she has front and back wheels for balance. The wheels pop in and out easily and they seems well made and durable. They are heavy but thats OK with me because she wont want to wear them all the time. As with any kind of skate, we have strick rules, i.e. helmet, pads, level ground, etc.
- As someone mentioned before, these can't be worn as sneakers because they are too heavy and the wheels like to pop out occasionally. They are a broken ankle waiting to happen if worn as street shoes.
As skates these are great. My daughter has had them for almost a year and hasn't had a problem with them. She loves them!!! The color and design are pretty and stylish and they are very sturdy. The wheels when they are out stay put. They could have used a better material for the wheels themselves though. My daughter uses them mostly in the house since we live on a dirt road, and only occasionally in town, so I don't know how well they would hold up if used a lot on asphalt.
Overall this was a great buy.
- My grandaughter was so happy when she got these for Christmas! Couldn't wait to try them out. Good choice.
- These cannot be worn as sneakers as you might assume since they are in the shape of a pair of sneakers. They weigh a ton and with both wheels out, no ankle support, i may as well just thrown my kids off the roof. This is a terrible product. Heely's are worth the extra money and actually deliver the sales pitch.
- The skates are unstable. My child never got used to them before they fell apart.
