  1. Ordered over the internet. It was the right fit, but it simply generated too much pain on the points on my ankles in both feet. From what I gather, this problem is not unique to this boot, but many short boots at that 4 inch level. The boot itself was solid and very well put together. It was technically just what I wanted, but after trying to break it in for 2 days in the house I had to send them back. That leather top rim you see on the boot was just too unforgiving.

The vendor was outstanding regarding the return and refund. No problems with them.

I got a 6 inch boot later and now I don't have the problems around the ankles.

  1. It makes it earier to get from the house to the shop through our backyard which becomes a swamp when it rains.

  2. The boot fit nicely, but it was massive. It had tons of padding that I do not remember reading about, or perhaps, in my fervor to get it at $16 instead of the $60 I would have payed elsewhere, I may have missed the text. Either way, I ended up reselling and getting a different pair. They felt sturdy and solid though.

  3. Very nice boot. Bought them for my father-in-law. We could not find this type of boot with the pull out liner locally. Product was just as depicted in ad.

  4. These are nice solid boots. Warm, comfortable, and perfect for shoveling.

I only wish I'd had them last night when I was standing in a foot of frozen water due to a backed up storm drain. These are the kind of boots that will ace a challenge like that.
