1. I've been a fan of the Euro Hiker for many years. In fact they had been my choice of shoe for many travels throughout the world. Unfortunately recently Timberland has changed the design of the shoe....for the worse. The old pair I'm wearing right now have a bellows tongue which serves to keep scree, gravel, and such from easily getting into the boot. Timberland has recently decided to remove that feature so now hiking/walking down any lose packed trail will result in rocks in your shoes. Its a shame...the Euro Hike used to be an awesome boot.



2. The boots are great. I got them for my husband for Christmas and he loves them. I was surpized when I got them before Christmas (I ordered them later that I should have) but they arrived on time. I'm very satisfied.



3. I got the shoes for my husband a few days before Christmas and he loves them! They arrived on time. He's a not the pretty boy type, so these are perfect because he scratches them and it comes right off with a wipe of his hand. You have to buy a half size bigger though, which I figured and they fit him perfectly.
   
   If you want nice shoes without having to worry about getting them too dirty, go with these.



4. I purchased a pair for Christmas 2005 for my husband that hikes at least 5 miles per day in the local woods near us. They have weathered snow, water, and mud. The only thing that we have replaced are shoe laces on these boots. It is now January 2008 and he finally decided that maybe we should replace the current pair with another pair exactly the same. He said that these boots were comfortable from the first time he wore them and wouldn't have any other boot.



5. I bought these thinking I was gonna get a good set of boots, but instead I got a GREAT set of boots.

1. My husband has been wearing these boots for several years now(this is his third pair) they are comfortable, well made, have ample support and are waterproof.

2. I received my order much quicker than I expected, and am very satisfied with the quality of this boot. It's a good, well fitted day hiker. The extra lace clip helps with the excess, making it where I don't have to tuck the laces. The boot is waterproof, and the sole is very durable. Be carefull on wet rocky areas though, it can be very slippery. On the trail, the boot is excellent. Very light impact to the trail, and grips like a bear. The medium ankle prevents limiting movement when kneeling, or squatting. For those of us with large feet, the sizes available make it high on my list of good products. There was no breakin period, because I was able to order my exact size and width. Thankyou Propet! For overnight trekers, you'll need some odor eaters. The boot does not breath well enough for 24 hour wear. Again, it's water proof, and my first time caught in a flash flood while on a trek, I appreciated that fact. I plan on putting many miles on this pair, and my feet are greatful!



3. I have the misfortune to be cursed with smaller feet (relatively) that are quite wide. Size 8 is what I need, but 8 EE's don't seem to fit me anymore. This has caused my quest for shoes to always be difficult - until I discovered Propet shoes.
   
   Propet makes shoes in a comforting array of sizes, and they have a size that fits me perfectly. My feet whimper with gratitude when I put on a a pair of 8 3XW.
   
   The quality of the shoe is excellent, and has a 6-month or 1,000 mile assurance on the sole.
   
   This is my second of this type of boots - I wore the other out and was reluctant to give up those comfortable old friends on my feet!
   
   Highly recommended.
