  1. Great boots - they look good and keep my feet dry. Delivery was right on time as promised.

  2. I live in the rural country, so I needed a pair of boots to quickly slip on when I have a lot of mud or snow to go thru. These fit the bill, they are not instillated but with a heavy pair of socks the cold and snow aren't a problem. But you can also use them when the temps are warmer. A good deal at a fair price. I have no trouble walking on snow the tread pattern and they clean up easily too. If needed as I do, you can drive with them on.

  3. I ordered these boots for some major pressure washing jobs based on the previous 5-STAR reviews. I totally agree with the ratings. These boots are excellent quality and are the most comfortable rubber boots I've ever owned. For all the vanity prone, including myself, they really look cool, too.

  4. Bought these for my spouse...and hasn't taken them off since. Actually he is particular about his feet, anything hurts..but he loves these for work in the yard...

  5. I have been looking for a replacement for my Boss brand boots and came across these. They are almost identical but are even more heavy duty and have decent foot support and arch support. A great overall waterproof slip on boot.

  1. These boots were exactly what my 17-year-old son wanted, but when we ordered his regular shoe size, they were way too big. He needed them for a trip, so we didn't have time to exchange them by mail. He tried on two other pairs at a local sporting goods store, and ended up with a full size smaller than his regular shoe size. I wish that the website had provided advice on sizing.

  2. i did purchase this boot through amazon &i like it very much,it looks like the photo no differance in colour, the delivery was fast ,i recommend it to a friend.

  1. Outstanding stable shoe, roomy forefoot that is supportive on sharp rocks, as well as a heel that doesn't slip. Getting both of those in one shoe has been a long standing problem for me. It is also quick to get in and out of.
I feel I made an excellent purchase!

  2. From the same company that makes the terrific "Newport H2" sandal with the super natural "metaomical design" fit. The Keen Targhee is like wearing a Humvee for your feet. It with waterproof construction for dry feet and an agressive outsole with 4 millimeter lugs that bite deep into the terrain for excellent traction. And they have the famous Keen toe bumper.

It is very waterproof as I can attest to. The waterproof leather upper helps keep feet dry on rainy days and muddy trails. It has an interior waterproof liner bootie too. The special carbon rubber outsoles are similar to the ones on the Keen Sandals, very grippy and non-marking, and they never seem to show any wear. They are multi-directional and dig in, but are not slippery on wet surfaces like rocks or cement in rain or surf. They come in few colors, but the colors have weird names. "Shadow" is an olive for example.

It has a good secure fit laceup capture system that do not come untied like my other tennies did. THe straps have a little reflective feature to them. Htey have a nice pull-on strap at the heel. They are light in weight at only 14 ounces for the pair. On sizing, I reccommend buying one full size larger than usual.

1 comments about MuckBoots Adult Chore Hi.

  1. I am a huge Muck Boot fan (note - there are knock offs out there - I am talking about boots made by the Muck Boot Co and under the Muck Boot brand). We use these exclusively on my ranch in Montana and have purchased just about every make and model they have from the Muck Shoes all the way up to the cold weather arctic versions and everything in between.

The neoprene uppers stay soft and are tough in the rough. They are easy on and off due to the soft uppers. I have a high arch and full length rubber boots are always very hard for me to get off. These boots, since the uppers fold down, are much easier to get off.

They work fine over the pant or under the pant. The only time I have seen them break down is when my employees ride motorcycles out to change wheel line, etc. and they hook them on the foot pegs. This can tear the uppers, so they are not indestructible. The rubber bottoms are very well constructed. The steal toe versions of the boots provide good front foot protection. Size seems pretty standard, so if you are a men's 10, the 10 seems to fit true. A typical pair of boots will last years on the ranch and I have never seen one come apart in any place. The sole will wear out before the boot breaks down. Leaking has never been a problem.
One note: The tack or scrub version of the boots has a sole that is not really made for great gripping on slick surfaces (at least that is my experience). They work fine in the barn, but if you are going to be doing a bunch of walking outdoors, over ice or slick mud, I recommend the "lug" soles.

I have worn the arctic version of the boot in very cold weather (-10 F) and your feet will stay warm with a good sock. I would not use them to stand for long periods of time in very cold weather, as there are better boots made for that kind of performance. The non-arctic versions get worn all year around unless it's very cold.

These boots are not cheap in price, but the last thing I want is wet, cold or sore feet or a boot that breaks down quickly. Muck Boots perform very well and will outlast cheaper brands by a long time.

  1. I've had a black pair of Hawthornes for about 2 years until the heel is worn down so far it leaks. What this means is that I LOVE THESE BOOTS! I'm an architect and they were not unsuitable for office casual and I could tromp on out to a construction site on no notice, rinse off the mud afterward and go on with the day. As I said, I've worn them down until they're no longer watertight, which is a statement of how much I've punished them. Now I need to replace them and all I can find is this Slime Green and Great White Hunter camouflage nonsense. BLACK!

  2. I'm a female with very big and wide feet, and I'm not a boot wearer because I can never find a boot that's wide or comfortable enough for me! That's until I found these LaCrosse waterproof boots. They are the perfect Cinderella fit for me. The rubber that the boot is made of stretches out to fit your foot perfectly, so you don't have to worry if they are wide enough. I just knew I was going to have to send them back because I thought they would be too narrow by them being only a M (Medium) in width, because I'm a DD/DDD in width, but they were perfect. And they are very, very comfortable too! I really recommend these boots for people like myself, who really don't like to wear boots, they are nice looking, lightweight and comfortable. Easy on and off too, that was one of my main concerns also. I hate a boot that takes forever to get on and off, but not these. I highly recommend these. No more wet feet in gymshoes in the snow for me. Thank you LaCrosse!!
