1. I saw this clip here and fell in love! I was nervous that it would be "too much" (it sparkles so intensely- especially in the sunshine!), but it's not! (It's a tad smaller than it appears to be in the picture, which tones it down- a good thing).
   Be forewarned if you have thick hair. This clip isn't a barette, but a true clip (the wings are squeezed towards eachother to open the clip and therefore hold on to your hair.) If you have very thick hair and a style in mind that involves holding very much hair, the clip won't look as good because the wings won't lay flat like they do in the picture. (The more hair you insert into the clip, the closer together the wings must become, so you see the underside of the wings more than the top, which isn't ugly but also isn't pretty).
   Don't be afraid to buy this because you're trying to "dress your age". My aunt wore this, and she's 50.. it looked great!
   
   My only regret is the shipping... it was ridiculous in my opinon. (You end up paying more than $9.99). It's still a wise buy!

1. This is really sparkly and pretty and a nice amber color. Even though it's bigger than your average hairclip, it still stays really well in my hair without slipping or pinching.
