1. Jockey makes an excellent white traditional brief for the gentlemen amongst us who just don't want to wear boxers. The relatively snug fit ensures that these briefs will not "bunch up" like loose fitting boxers so often do; and many men prefer these briefs for that reason alone. One plus is that these tend to give you a little more breathing room that Hanes briefs do; they fit more naturally and they are not quite as tight. They don't shrink or stretch much over time, either.
   
   The briefs are easy to care for; they are essentially permanent press so any washer and dryer set will clean them well. They seem to last forever, too, which makes them an excellent value.
   
   My only real caution--and the main reason that this product gets four stars instead of five--is that these briefs can be a bit too tight the first several times you wear them. I would suggest washing them once or twice just to loosen the fit up ever so slightly. Another relatively minor concern is that the elasticity of the waistband eventually does wear out. At that point you do need to buy new briefs--but, then again, nothing lasts forever, right?
   
   Overall, gentlemen who want a close but comfortably fitting brief will be very satisfied with these white men's briefs. The three pack gives you value and they last a long time.



2. I've worn this style of briefs for probably 20 years. Even though I live in New Zealand now, I hold out until I visit the US to re-stock. They're comfortable and long-lasting, and they never go out of style, even as your body ages.



3. Great fitting underwear. I especially like the full seat and longer length. This is the first time I have purchased "pouch" underwear before. Access is probably easier than the fly in traditional briefs but I still prefer the fly over the pouch access. Support is very good.



4. I have worn Jockey products, Shorts and shirts for mant years and have always enjoyed a long use of all Jockey products, I wear the briefs but prefer the Midway,I find it more comfortable,I must say that I wear jockey products exclusively,



5. I ordered "classic" jockey breif, which I currently own, but the new units received are approximately 2" taller on each side when compared to my current briefs, both labeled Jockey Classic.

1. This is a nice shirt. It is very thin, so I wonder how well it will hold up. After careful examination, I've not found any defects in this shirts construction. I like the features and fit.



2. These shirts are beautiful until you wear them a few times. Each time you wear them they will snag on something until they look like you are wearing a berber rug with all the unsightly loops sticking out everywhere. Such a shame as I would have rated these shirts a 5 star were it not for this HUGE flaw.

1. This is so not worth the money - should be half the price for the quality of construction. It offers little back/lumbar support so if you are looking for that, try a different product. If you are trying to conceal, or lessen the appearance of your tummy, this doesn't cut it either. I thought it would be helpful while dieting, and help my posture, but I was incredibly disappointed.



2. Nice and simple. My girlfriend noticed a difference. It's basically like sucking in your gut without the discomfort of having to hold it in. Not as pronounced as a men's corset, but worth it.
   Having never worn one of these I needed some help figuring out how to get it on. I found closing it first then slipping it over my head works best.

5 comments about Thorlo Unisex Thick Cushion Running Crew Sock.

1. I've bought two pair so far. I use them for trail running and some running on pavement, but not for everyday wear. I once accidentally took two different socks with me when walking a trail...this was a real eye-opener, and I advise anyone who does a lot of running or walking to try this sometime. The Thorlo was clearly more comfortable on downhill segments, which are more stressful in trail running. Also, they are offered in an extra large size for us big guys, and this also makes them more comfortable for me.
   
   I have washed these a few times and not seen the pilling mentioned elsewhere yet. Our daughters have worn a similar Thorlo in the past, and they do pill eventually. But I'm not a fashion plate when running and this is not a big issue for me.
   
   Five stars.



2. I've been wearing these socks for years while I've been running or otherwise not having to be "dressed up." They last for years, are comfortable, warm and really cushion my old feet! None better.



3. The comfort provided by the thick-cushioned Thorlo sock exceeds all other socks that I have ever worn. In fact, after purchasing a multiple supply of Thorlos, I immediately placed a second order to assure myself that I would always have these socks available. I gave away all other socks to Goodwill.
   
   As my major hobby is gardening and since I'm a pedestrian and not a driver, I'm on my feet more than most people. This Thorlo product aids in my gardening and walking activities.
   
   I machine wash the Thorlos in luke warm water on a low speed cycle and I dry them on a clothesline. While hanging them, I stretch each sock, which is just a habit, but I think is useful to maintain a proper fit. If you treat these socks right, they will reciprocate.
   
   I hope you have as much luck with the Thorlo sock as I have experienced.
   
   



4. As a ski instructor, I discovered Thorlo years ago, then as a avid hiker I tried their hiking socks, and was just as impressed. There is no equal. Padded toes and heals make all the difference, these are simply the best.



5. I bought this Thorlo Running sock because of the thick cushioning in the pad & ball of the foot. It also has a moderate cushion in the arch. I had foot surgery on the ball/arch of my foot a few months ago and need these thick socks to cushion the bottom of my foot. I am wearing them with adjustable Teva's since I can't wear shoes yet. In my case I got them a size larger than I wear because my foot is still swollen from my surgery. But they run true to size, so if you're ordering for normal use, order your regular size. If you were to wear these with your regular athletic shoes, you would most likely need to go up half a shoe size to accomodate these very thick socks. As far as comfort these socks are fantastic. I didn't give them 5 stars because only after two washings they developed fuzz and strings. I also have a pair of Thorlo Hiking socks and walking socks with the same problem. But for me it's worth it to put up with the "Stringy" look in exchange for the comfort! Thorlos are great for anyone who has planter problems or who needs extra cushioning to prevent blisters while walking, running, golfing, working out or hiking. They have different levels of protection, depending on what your use or need is.
