5 comments about Gold Toe Men's Canterbury Over the Calf Dress Sock, 3-Pack.
- I've been wearing these socks for many years under my cowboy/motorcycle boots because I don't like the feel of the boots against bare skin. I first purchased them at Macy's and discovered that they wear like iron and stay up through hundreds of washings.
Highly recommended!
- Purchased these socks because of the reviews. I got three packs of these, and each pair in each pack had one sock that would hold up well and one that would fall down pretty quickly. I found this odd since they go up to your knee and initially were pretty tight around my calf.
Another issue is that my pants stick to the material, so sometimes the pant leg gets bunched up a bit.
These socks are ok at best, and a bit disappointing considering the $20 per pack I paid. For now I'll just have to get used to shaking my leg when I walk and pulling my socks up 3-4 times a day.
- not a good product, immediately shrunk, too expensive, took forever to get to me. overall representative of a failed business model.
- I read the reviews before purchasing but after using the socks I've found that; they cling to your pants. When standing, pants do not slip down to your shoes, they cling to your socks. When sitting, they grab your pants and stretch your pants tightly over your knees. They socks are also very tight.
I gave them 1 star because they don't fall down as advertised, and they do cover your ankles.
I'll go back to occasionally puling up my socks.
- You pay extra for this sock versus the more generic brands out there. But in my opinion, the difference is well worth it. I bought a whole bunch of these socks so that I have one type of business sock... a real time saver when doing the laundry or when looking for a sock in the morning. I have found them to last a long time, with no loss in elasticity - they grip well!

- These are classic style. Very much like the old classic 501's. I got them as a gift for a Rockabilly, who rolls them up at the bottom. They look great on him and are of great quality.
- I bought these jeans for my husband and he looks so GOOD in them. He also says they are very comfortable. Although he wears these to work in a machine shop, they seem to be holding up well. These jeans are definitely a great value and we will be buying more!
- Two things wrong about this product for me:
1. The color on the picture shows a lighter shade of blue. The actual color is closer to a navy blue.
2. I bought a size 30x30, and although it has 30x30 labels all over the jeans, the inseam is 2 inches longer than it actually states.

1 comments about Gold Toe Men's ADC Aquafx Jersey Dress Sock.
- Gold Toe makes an excellent sock and their "Men's ADC Aquafx Jersey Dress Sock" is no exception. I should know--I'm a Gold Toe sock freak! LOL
The socks are remarkably comfortable; they are not thick and they are not too thin just as other reviewers noted. They almost never "bunch up" inside my shoes as I walk around and they are very much worth the price. They last longer so the long life of these socks justifies the slightly higher price.
I also like the design of the toe section actually being gold colored fabric. Amazon points out that these socks come in your choice of a few different colors. The safest, most conservative choice for the corporate office is the black color; but the other colors come in handy too depending on your work/play "dress code."
These socks can easily be washed in any washer or dryer--but I would heed the manufacturer's warning about not drying them at a high temperature. High temperatures in the clothes dryer cause these socks to wear out faster. They will stretch more and become much looser on your feet.
Overall, Gold Toe is the brand to buy if you want good quality, long lasting socks. The "Men's ADC Aquafx Jersey Dress Socks" for men match any attire and they can even be worn in bed on those really cold nights to keep your feet warm!
Highly recommended!

- I bike to work and these pants kept me unbelievably comfortable. I stayed very cool on even the hot and humid days. Plus it is great that they are wrinkle-free and they have a nice fit (with an expandable waist).
I originally found a pair at Ross for $11; however it is "hit and miss" to find them there.
- These pants are VERY comfortable. They feel like silk. I personally do not like expandable waistbands, but for these pants I make an exception. The only downside to these pants is that when the waist expands, you can see the inside of the pockets which is white. I guess this not so bad for khaki pants, but I have black pants.
- I ordered 3 pairs of pants and was charged for three pairs. I received only two. I've complained to both Amazon and the vendor they selected, Bealls Florida, and received absolutely no satisfaction! There has been no credit issued, nor did the third pair ever arrive. I would advise any purchasers to beware of any Amazon orders placed with vendors and only use Amazon to purchase books. If you ever have any problems, such as I have, don't expect any help from Amazon or any response from their vendors. I have just been totally ignored by Bealls and Amazon's response was that I'd have to take it up with Bealls directly. Have I had any good results from Amazon in the past? Yes. Do they make up for the extremely bad experience I had this time? Absolutely NOT!!! I've learned a lesson that, fortunately, didn't cost me too much, but if I'd ordered an expensive item, I could have been seriously, financially damaged. Amazon obviously believes in buyer beware!

- I bought these to run my order up for free shipping. The choice was pay $5 for shipping or $7.50 for socks and get free shipping. I thought they were a bit expensive. I used to buy Hue OTC (over the calf) socks but they have stopped making them! When I received these socks and saw the quality I was impressed. They are very comfortable. They are worth the price. I just wish they would bundle them in packs to give a quantity discount, but I will spring for these again...
- I have to wear dress slacks and a tie to work.
These socks cover my calf, don't itch and don't fall down, while not choking my delicate leg circulation.
AND they look good.
- Amazon is the only place I've been able to find these! They are ALL my grandpa wears and according to him, they are AWESOME. :)
- These socks feel great and look great. Not being a fan of men's socks that look opaque, I was concerned that they would be too thin, but I was presently proven wrong once I started wearing them. I took off one star since I think they are priced at least $3 too much.

5 comments about Gold Toe Men's Windsor Wool Dress Sock, 3-Pack.
- I have worn this type of sock for many years. They are soft and comforable, cling neatly to the foot and ankle and look great as a dress sock. They wears like iron. I have never found a better sock. Amazon price is good as the only other place to get them is upscale pricey stores
- I thought I was getting over the calf length but they are shorter. I don't think the description was very accurate. The quality is good but at that length they don't stay up as well. In addition, the charcoal socks were considerably lighter in color than charcoal.
- I always prefer Gold Toe socks for durability, comfort, and quality. These socks are no different. They stay up, don't pill, and look just as good after numerous washings as they do when they're new.
- For those looking for 100% wool, this is not your sock - move on. The product is advertised as a "Wool" dress sock but the wool only makes up a small portion of the material used. This was greatly disappointing to my husband who was advised to use wool because it is breathable and more comfortable.
- Given what I paid for these I expected a more substantial sock. The material is so thin that you can see light through them and it doesnt need to be a strong light source either. They are "dress socks" but they could stand to use a litte more material in their construction.

- Bought 6 pairs for Mom, Dad, and my younger brother. They love it very much. We rarely use heater at home, so this socks are very-very useful. My dad wears it all the time.
It is really warm as others said. I am very glad that they like it. The value is even more worth than the price...
PS: The Leopard motive looks even better than the picture...
- I bought 2 pairs of acorn socks because they are my favorite. They perfectly fit the contours of my feet, and don't bunch up or slide off. They are by far the best slipper socks I have ever purchased. I like to wear them around the house on cold days, the only downside is that they are too thick to wear with shoes.
- I have had 1 pair of these socks for years and I love them. They keep my feet warm and comfy in the winter. Just ordered 4 pair from REI outlet for $8.95 a pair. $15 is a bit expensive for socks but they are more than just socks.
- Have several of these. This was purchased for the style/color for a couple of my daughters.

- bright colors, heavy padding, and details these have it all, a rubber toe cap how can you hurt that? the "icecream" logo is stitched to the tounge (not a tag) and the "cone and bones" is stitched to the back, these are conversation pieces for sure. Very comfortable these are cut VERY low and have a thick insole. Just so you know I do NOT skate so I dont know how the shoe would fair in that regard but as a street shoe these get a 10 be ready for random people comming to you wondering where you got them, I own 4 pair and it happens every time I dont even need to leave the house. A personal note, only a person with confidence will be able to pull these off
- These shoes are amazing. I've been looking for a pair of these with a price that didn't kill my wallet, and these are them. I got the Turquoise and Yellow ones, and they are a dream. Everyone notices them while you are walking around, and they are incredibly comfortable. You can't really wear them with everything, but it doesn't matter because when you do wear them, they are such eye catchers. BUY THESE SHOES!!!
- MY SON LOVES THESE SNEAKERS AND I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THE PRODUCT. IT IS HARD TO BUY FOR A TEEN AND TO PICK THE RIGHT COLOR HE MAY LIKE WITHOUT HIS IMPUT. I DID JUST THAT WITH THESE SNEAKERS AND I'M VERY PLEASED. THEY CAME I A TIMELY MANNER AND THE COST WAS WHAT I EXPECTED.
