1 comments about Under Armour Defender Backpack - NEW!.

  1. This seems like a solid bag but once in use it leaves someone who has used other modern computer bags wondering if UA did their homework.
    Examples:

    1) The big hard-ish shell pocket on the top front with logo embossed has two felt pockts. This seems like it was meant to hold an ipod or small portable usb drives but if the backpack is laid flat, like under a seat on a plane, the iPod or drives slide out of the little internal pocket and start floating around in the larger space. This will keep you from wanting to put anything else in there to avoid scratching the iPod. Other companies use a velcro strap.

    2) The arm straps are comfortable. Unfortunately, there are no rings on them to clip such items as keys or access cards (or flare if you are so inclined). The top handle is not comfortable for any sort of extended period because as it is thin and simple fabric instead of a larger filled fabric or rubber handle everybody else uses.

    3) The padded laptop sleeve should be able to hold just about any size laptop. I have no issue here.

    4) The zippers do not always work smoothly especially the laptop sleeve and large storage area and this gets worse when holding the backpack by the handle. This can make it cumbersome in security lines where you have to pull the laptop out.

    5) The large storage area is huge. I use this for carrying my Tamrac Adventure Messenger 4 DSLR Camera Bag when traveling because I like being able to separate the camera for better portability during the day.
For me, this was the only reason to keep this bag.

    6) All bags try to balance the pocket/separators, some have to many, so they can be organized but if you don't have items to fit specific spots many of them may be left unused. This bag on the other hand has too few making it impossible to organize or find things as everything just mixes together.

All in all, this bag could not replace my $60 Targus bag for daily use but I kept it for traveling.

3 comments about Wigwam 625 Socks f1086.

  1. I've worm Wigwam socks for years with work boots and running shoes. They were heavy and sturdy. These socks are neither; I developed a toe hole in one pair the first wearing. I'll be looking around for a replacements.

  2. If you like wool socks these are for you! 60% wool 40% nylon. Comfortable in rain, rivers, waters, dry areas. Super comfort with tennis shoes and lightweight hiking boots. I've been buying these for 20+ years and love them.

  3. Wigwam 625 Socks f1086If you have diabetes II like I do, you have to watch your feet. The best way I've found is with these soft, wool socks. They don't bind your toes or cut off circulation with elastic tops. These are the real deal.

Even if you don't have D II, if you're on your feet working all day at a blue collar job, these socks will take good care of you.
