2 comments about ENGINEER CAP, ADULT/BLUE.

  1. I ordered 2 hats, large size, and got one that fit and one that was too small. I contacted customer service and it offered a replacement for the mis-sized hat. Three days later, I got one that was smaller still. I gave up - a waste of time and money.

  2. My 64 year old husband has been a model train collector since age 10. He finally has a train room and layout but had no engineer hat. Now he does and is happy as a kid playing trains. That hat was just as he dreamed.

  1. Nice twill fabric, fits like a 2X in other brands. Usually I buy Nautica, but I am very happy with this shirt.

1 comments about Hanes Pajamas Ligh Blue 55% Cotton 45% Polyester.

  1. These pajamas are as described. They wash well and come out of the dryer with few wrinkles. My husband is just over 6' and the length is perfect.

1 comments about American Apparel BB401 Poly-Cotton Short Sleeve Crew Neck.

  1. 2.5 to 3 stars. Not as good as I was expecting. This tee is too thin and flimsy. Doesn't fit that well (kind of flares out at the bottom, so doesn't give you a tapered look). And the colors aren't as vibrant as they look online. For a superior cotton-blend tee, you'll be better off with the the Fruit of the Loom 5930 (which I also purchased). The Fruit of the Loom 5930 is heavyweight (but not stiff) fabric, it holds its shape better, has a nicer fit, and surprisingly is about half the price of the American Apparel BB401.

3 comments about Military Black Ultra Force BDU Pants.

  1. First of all, if you're at the top end of the size range, you'd better go up to the next size since BDUs seem to run a bit tight. In my opinion, Propper makes a better pant overall, but these aren't bad. The poly/cotton material seems rugged and I hope to have these for a few years. Good color retention after a few washes too. Captain Dave's is an excellent retailer with great customer service that is also easily reached.

  2. These pants are awesome! My daughter is a CNA and needed black pants with lots of pockets. The problems for her are that, 1, we seldom can get anything locally in black, 2, she only reaches 5 feet if she's just been to the chiropractor, keeps her shoes on, and stands as straight as she can. However, she's not a little wisp of a thing, so there really is nothing that fits. Our best results have been with men's clothing or unisex clothing, like military styling. This adjustable waistband is wonderful and, with the length choices, I only had to shorten them about 2 inches, instead of our usual 6-8, which leaves the pockets in a good place. The caveat - around the hips is a little snug if you're at the big end of the adjustable waist.

  3. Comfortable and of pretty decent construction. The waist cinch straps are great -- adjusts the fit like a belt, but lots more convenient (and there are still belt loops if you want them.)

Anywhere there's a button closure (thigh and rear pockets, plus the fly. I mostly notice this with the fly), the two-ply button flap has a seam separating individual buttons, so when buttoning or unbuttoning you can't slide your fingers down from button to button but must actually pull them out, move down and back in.

I found the proportions to be pretty good in most respects, but it's a bit baggy in the crotch; the length of cut between the top of the inseam and the top of the waistband is longer than is typical for jeans in similar sizes.

The material (55% cotton, 45% polyester, twill-pattern weave) is pretty soft, but is not noiseless. There's a definite rasp when it slides over skin. Not as loud as some slacks I've worn of similar material proportions, but louder than a cotton pair of jeans.

I've observed only slight shrinkage when laundered with hot water and a hot dryer.

These pants are made in China, in case you care (military replica vendors often seem to make a point of this.)
