1. This is my new favorite sweatshirt. I work at Amazon even on the Sporting Goods team, but this is truly an unbiased review. So, for years my wife has had a wonderfully comfortable sweatshirt of her alma matter that she wears around the house. I've been needing something similar. This is it! Truly my favorite purchase of the year.
   
   What do I love?
   - Material is comfortable. Not too heavy and definitely comfortable to wear inside or outside. Perfect for fall weather.
   - Hood is nice, but I really love
   - Pockets. Perfect for keeping hands warm.
   
   Love it!

1. just like the tops... these Red Rock thermals are awesome. super warm and (mostly) true to size...when I prepare to work (or play) in the cold, I usually wear cold weather compression shorts (like a thick spandex), then these thermals, then outer pants that are a coated nylon/polyester (for wind and water resistance)... like the top layers, this combo has done me well for air temps around -10 and wind chills in the -30 range. My ONLY complaint with these is the same complaint I have with just about all thermal bottoms I've ever owned... when pulled up properly, the crotch is way too low. When I pull them up so the crotch is in a normal position, then the ankle cuffs are around my calf, and it bunches up around my belly (unless I pull them up like Urkel LOL). aside from that, they keep me super warm, and they do a good job at keeping the sweat off of me. I also like the fact that they have like a double layer reinforcement/padding at the knees.



2. ...they are way too bulky. Forget about using those under a pair of jeans, never gonna happen. Unless you are into those oversized pants. They are warm, that is for sure. Perfect to wear under ski pants, but for casual wear in cold weather, people will think you put on 10 pounds overnight. Maybe I should have gotten the smaller size.
