1. I was looking for black leather gloves that could be functional without adding a lot of bulk to my hands (for driving, fishing around my pockets for keys, etc). I'm not a big fan of thinsulate, but I didn't want to spend big $$$ on calfskin.
   
   These glove functioned exactly as I wanted with just two complaints:
   1) they smell bad (like chemicals & plastic?), and thus make your hands smell weird.
   2) both zippers broke within a year.
   
   Overall - I got a lot of use out of them (after washing them out), but don't know if I'd go with them again.

1. These gloves were just what my husband needed. My husband has very large hands so it is very difficult to find gloves that fit him. I had bought the exact same brand, style and size pair for him years ago and was not able to find them in a retail store in my area. Thank goodness I was able to find the exact same gloves on line. It's the only thing that he had on his Christmas list and I was glad I could find them!

2. These are high grade gloves that fit perfectly and the lining is very comfortable. They are well worth the price. I also purchased a pair of the cashmere and these fit better. I would recommend these over their cashmere alternative.
