1 comments about Rocky Blizzard Stalker 1200-gram Boot.
- I purchased a pair of the Rocky Blizzard Stalker 1200-gram Boots in the 12" height, mine happened to be seel toed and I could not be happier with my purchase.
I also wrote a review earlier on the Smartwool Hunting Extra Heavy Midcalf Socks I purchased to use with these Rocky boots and the combination of the two worked out extremely well for me. I'm a person who has had cold feet in the winter time all my life and have suffered all winter being uncomfortable with feet that will not stay warm even inside the house, that is until now.
I use the Smartwool socks in the my Rocky Boots to shovel and snow blow side walks and drive ways in the winter months or any time I spend time outdoors when cold. For the first time in my life I have warm and comfortable dry feet, which I'm very happy about, after suffering for many years with cold feet. I'm a retired man who is still very active and likes to stay that way, so in addition to now having warm feet wearing the Rocky Blizzard Stalker Boots I added one more accessory to my footing which insures my safety on snow or ice, strap on Stablicers with the screw in cleats for secure footing on icy sloped driveways. Now I'm safe and warm while being active outside, what a difference it has made to me in my winter months. The price of all these items were a little high in price for me but the warmth and safety I have achieved when being outside in the cold has been well worth the price.
These boots are great and comfortable but be sure to take into consideration that the thick Smartwool socks will take up a little more room in the boot, I wear a size 10 shoe and the size 10 Rocky Blizzard Stalker boots I purchased were steel toed but had plenty of extra room for the socks, it seemed the boots ran a little big for a size 10 which worked out great for me.
I don't think you can go wrong with a pair of these boots.

- My right foot is slightly smaller than the left I believe most people have different sized feet to some degree, I currently have 12 pairs of top end boots and shoes all are loose around the heel box. This boot is Ideal for anyone with a mid to narrow foot no heel lift at all when scrambling. Very light weight yet tough My boots up to now mostly Scarpa/Raichle dont even come close to the comfort experienced by this boot I have bought three pairs im that impressed. Why do boot manufacturers make heel boxes that big - no more blisters compeed would go out of business if you all bought these boots.
