- I love the Stan Smith. i dont think anybody actually still uses them for tennis. its more of a casual shoe now. my all time favorite shoe in the Adidas Superstar aka shelltoe but the Stan Smiths come close second. make sure you keep them clean or by a new pair every 3 or 4 months. nothing worse that a pair of dirty Adidas.
- The shoes were in perfect condition and arrived in a timely fashion. I would definitely purchase from this company again. Their s/h rates were very reasonable :)
- These shoes are great it's very comfortable shoes and very nice look. I love them.
- The sneakers were great. The delivery was on time. I was completely satisfied
- I bought these tennis shoes for my fiance and he just loves them! He's even talking about buying the exact pair

- I'm a landscaper and I purchased these boots to wear while I'm working. They're great! Comfortable - water-proof - much better than the description given. I like them so much, I've ordered a second pair. Definitely a great value for the money.
- my second pair, the first pair haven't worn out yet but getting close. these
boots have been to hell and back. great boot for the price!!!
- I am on my second pair of these boots, and I absolutely love them. The look great, and they are very comfortable for dialy wear. That is why I gave them 5 stars.
If you are looking for a pair of hiking boots, these are NOT what you want. I give them zero stars for hiking. I recently wore these with gel inserts on a 9 mile hike in the Shenandoah National Park and my feet hurt so bad I wanted to die. Needless to say, I will be shopping for a pair of actual hiking shoes now, but when these wear out, I will definately buy another pair for casual wear.
- These were the closest replacement for my 2001 'Trail Dust' Hikers that I had (no longer available) and they say are Waterproof but they are talking about the boot itself up to about 3" of water (No splash), the leather itself needs to be protected by Mink Oil or something similar for water repelent to keep from staining the leather with spots. Nice construction and lightweight boots for the money, Thanks.

- These puppies support my feet like nothing else: no more plantar facitis (sp?), which means I'm more active and happier for it.

5 comments about Columbia Sportswear Men's Frontier Peak GTX Hiking Boot.
- These boots were outstanding. They handling everything from dirt, to dust, to knee deep mud... Highly recommended!
- I stumbled across this boot on sale while trying to find something (at the last minute) in a wide width for a late season hunting trip, and couldn't be happier with this product! Over the past month, I have worn the Peak GTX while pheasant hunting, snowshoeing, shoveling show, and just walking the dog, which speaks to the boot's versatility and comfort. Although it is not a true insulated boot (which keeps the weight down), my feet have never felt cold, even in below-zero temps here in Minnesota... a good pair of wool socks will do wonders for staying warm.
With regard to fit, be forewarned that Columbia boots seem to run a bit shorter than average - I ordinarily wear an 11, but am glad I ordered the 11.5 in this model. The wide width version has been a welcome relief for my 3E-width "duck feet" and this is one of the few boots in which I have felt comfortable for extended walking and standing.
- I've been rambling on the south american Andes for the past three years with these comfortable yet sturdy boots. They'll even keep you dry on moderate glaciers such as Ritacuba. I'm buying new ones for my husband.
- First impressions (I have owned them for a month now).
Good looking sporty look. Seem about 1/2 size smaller than expected.
Have worn them in heavy snow and 15-30F temperatures.
Have NOT drawn any water - feet stayed dry the whole time.
These boots ARE NOT insulated - after roughly 15 minutes in 20F my feet were very cold - I am not saying this is a "fault" since I know these are not heavy winter boots - I just want people to be aware.
I bought the darker "mud" color from sierratrading... might also order these "stinger".
- These boots took a little longer to break in but, is was well worth the time. They are really comfortable and sturdy. I wear them for construction work boots and hiking. The only boots I have liked better were a pair of Asolo's. They were 3 times the price though. I think the Frontier Peak GTX is a great boot for the price and I have bought a lot of boots over the last 38 years.

- Good service. Was bought for my son and he doesn't live close But he was very pleased about the product and the service.
- My husband loves these because he has to work outside, sometimes in wet mud. He always stays dry and says they are very comfortable.
- These boots are some of the most comfortable shoes of any kind that I have ever worn. The boots look great and the lacing system is superb. The Gore-tex lining makes a difference in comfort and dryness even when wearing them to the office. You're ready to take off most shoes at the end of the day, but you feel as though you could leave these on indefinitely. What more can be said?

- I feel like all the Alaskan guys I saw last summer. A warm pair of sox underneath, and life is dry! Great service
- Excellent product. Very good value for the money.
- Great item! Have already used several times and is exactly as is described.
- These are decent boots, and they have the advantage of being slightly higher than one would expect, coming to just a few inches below my knees.
On thing I've found is that since they are black, if you use them in direct sunlight, they will become very uncomfortably hot. They are also fairly thin.
Another thing missing is a a ridge on the back of the boot to make taking them off easier. Previous boots of this type had that, which let me take off the boot with the other foot quite easily.
On the other hand, these boots are quite cheap, so FOR THE MONEY it's still not a bad deal.

1 comments about Columbia Sportswear Men's Coremic Ridge Boot.
- After shopping around for weeks, I finally came across a mid-top boot that is VERY comfortable with these Columbia Coremic Ridge. The color is great compared to some of the wild colors out there now and the boot really has a ton of support that works well when doing some minor yard work or when casual hiking with the family. After trying several pairs through the mail (seven at last count), I found these to be alot more comfortable than other brands like Timberland and Merrell. Columbia really seems to work hard at making the boot very comfortable and easy to wear. So far everything has worked great and the fit is true. I highly recommend Columbia over other boots.
On a side note: I also took a chance on a boot with the clips at the top. I never seem to like the clips on any boot I buy but Columbia has designed their clips to "hook" the lace in so when you are kneeling to pick-up something off the ground, the laces stay locked in. I have had a problem with the clips on other boots as the laces seem to slip out, but the Columbia design takes care of that issue, another plus to this boot.
