2. I bought this hat in white and pink and i love them both! My baby girl is 5 and a half months old, and pretty big for her age. Its a great hat to throw on in the spring or fall, and I always get comments on how cute she looks when she's wearing it :)



3. This hat is adorable! I bought it in 2 colors, and I'm happy I did. Baby hates hats that tie under his chin, so this works for him, and you tie the knot yourself which really makes it adjustable for different size babies. It's perfect!



4. The sizes for American Apparel ALWAYS seem to run small, EXCEPT in this case. The "One Size" is fairly big. But the fabric is soft and pretty thick. I plan to buy more of these in all the perdy colors! :)



5. The hat fits great, and is comfortable for my little one... easy to get on and off.

1. Our son is 8 months old. The baby size (6 months - 2 years) is too big on him. However, the coverage from the sun is great! It's very breathable material - very lightweight. And it drys instantly - no soggy, wet hat on the head. He'll grow into it. I also wish there was a cord lock (one that is not a choking hazard) because it's difficult to tie a bow/knot under a baby's chin.



2. This hat offers full protection for face and neck and for that it gets 5 stars. It is light weight but as another review stated, be careful if folding. I have some creases in mine (my fault, not the shipper) but it really doesn't bother me.
   
   I would give it a 1/2 less star based aesthetics. The picture listed on Amazon is tan with black accent on the side vents but I received a completely tan hat and I think it doesn't look that nice for a little boy - but sun protection is more important so he's going to wear it anyway. I wish Sunday Afternoons would make some better choices for boy colors.



3. We purchased this hat for our son. He is very active and we want him to be protected from the sun while he's running around outdoors. This hat is perfect. Just do not fold the brim! Shields his face and back of his neck from the sun very well. All of our relatives have asked us for the information to purchase the adult sizes for themselves and the children's sizes for their children. Truly a wonderful hat! My husband and I even bought some (in adult sizes) for ourselves.



4. Great hat! Lightweight, good fit. Only hat my son has ever worn consistently. No sweat band in the front, like the adult hats. Too bad. But overall, a great hat for kids in AZ!



5. I was more than pleased with this this little hat I bought for protecting my baby from the tropical sun where we live. It not only completely protects her face, but the back of her neck as well. The elastic back allows her to wear it now and it will still fit her in a couple of years. Great hat!

1. Provides a lot of shade! Not as 'stiff' as the picture shows...Once wet, our daughter's sags in her face but doesn't seem to mind. Great protection though!

1. Very good quality, but runs small. My daughter was small for her age, and it still did not fit her. I had to return it, which cost me almost as much at the hat.



2. After reading the other reviews I purchesed the 0-6 month hat to match with the bundleme coverup because I had this image of it being so cute, even if only for a little while. There were so many complaints about it being too small I was expecting to have the same issue... wrong. There must be an overall sizing inconsistancy because the hat goes down to my little one's nose so he hasn't been able to wear it yet and he just turned 2 months old. He's not a small baby by any means, he was 8 pounds 7.9 ounces when he was born and now he's over 11 pounds. It is really cute though and I look forward to having him wear it once he grows into it.



3. My niece is 5 months old, and no, this hat didn't even fit! This is supposedly, as promised by the JJ Cole, a hat for a 0 to 6 months old baby! A great disappointment...

5. I purchase this hat for my newborn thinking it was going to fit her perfectly, but right now its too big for her cause she has a tiny little head. I can't wait for her to fit it. i love the way it feels against the skin and I talked my sis into getting one for my little nephew.

1. I buy legionnaire hats for my son every year and this is the best one yet. The duck bill is nice and long to keep the sun out of his face/eyes and the flap is also long for perfect coverage of his neck and ears. The material drys quickly making it a perfect beach/pool hat.
   
   It's great not having to put sunscreen on the face/ears/neck of a 4 year old.



2. Order a size up from what you need as this hat size seems to run a bit small. It is great for sun cover, but the top and brim seem a bit stiff- albeit studier than other hats and very cute design.Boys Legionnaire Hats, UPF 50+, UV Protective
