1. I was a little nervous about ordering a helmet off the internet because of fit/finish, etc. I went to a local bike shop and tried on a few helmets and ultimately settled on the J-Wing to replace my 10 year old Shoei RJ-Air. I ordered through Amazaon and saved about $40 off retail not including tax.
   
   The helmet itself works great. It feels a little more snug than my old RJ-Air. This is probably due to my old helmet being pretty worn out but also because the J-Wing has more padding in the cheek area and around the ears. I also suffer far less buffeting than with my old helmet. I usually ride with the face shield up, but, when I'm riding toward the sun or when its cold the face shield does a very credible job of either knocking the glare and/or reducing the cold draft. Overall, I couldn't be happier.
